I went here to attending my one of friend wedding. It was such a amazing day. weather was perfect with beautiful nature and couple looked so nice Only actual wedding ceremony was held in the back yard of Stonewall building and rest of the ceremony was happening in the hall. Food was really nice as well.

This was a really nice place, I was there a bit late at night for a reunion, so I couldn't see a lot of the views but it looked nice. The food was good, and the party room was quite nice. The fire pit outside made a nice warm place outside even in the cold night. And the sound and lighting inside for the reunion made for a great party atmosphere. But it could definitly use some more exterior lighting.

There was some confusion about where the entrance was, because it was hard to see at night and the guard at gatehouse for the community just let everyone into the housing development to drive around for a bit before realizing the party and clubhouse turn was BEFORE the gate enterance.

But over all it was nice. We all had a good time.

Great lay out. Have to think where you want to miss if you miss..otherwise will punish you... course was in good condition for the time of the year. Greens were much better and pretty fast. Great course to play a round on. Challenging but fun....

I'm a wedding photographer, and Stonewall Golf Club is one of my favorite wedding venues. It's an absolutely gorgeous location for expansive landscapes ... think beautiful image of the couple dipping with an amazing sunset in the background ... and the view from the terrace where the wedding ceremony can take place is very nice as well. The food is delicious and the catering team is organized and helpful. Great pick for your wedding!

It took 2.5 hours to get through 9. There were 2 groups in front of us that were extremely slow. The group directly in front were playing from the blues and they could barely drive the ball 100 yrds. We eventually skipped ahead and were able to play the last 7 holes in 45 minutes. Get the Marshall out there to monitor pace! Beautiful course though!!!

Stonewall is a good news/bad news proposition: The good news is that it has a great layout and has an excellent, customer-friendly pro shop staff. The bad: they really need to marshal to prevent slow play, especially on the back 9. Also, the cart paths are in serious need of repair in many places.

If you are looking for a quality golfing experience where the staff treat you like you belong and your skills are challenged and you enjoy breathtaking views and sometimes forget that you are there to play golf, then book your tee time today! Sure I sound like I work there but I sure have played there and wish I could go back more often than I can. It is the jewel of Northern Virginia and should not be passed up. The maintenance is first class and I have never had a bad meal there either. Just make sure you play the right tees to have an enjoyable day.

Greens are in ROUGH shape. UNFIXED Ballmarks EVERYWHERE, greens not being rolled. Club is basically running as if COVID isn't rally a thing anymore is my major complaint. Forcing doubles in carts, nothing in the hole. Also no Marshalls keeping pace going, letting groups larger than 4 out.

Very nice course, usually in excellent condition. Only drawback is be prepared for a 5 hour round on weekends at best. They seem to have changed their philosophy and jam as many people out as possible. Marshalls on the course are non existant.

My opinion is rhat this is not a friendly club. I was hit by a ball and had to leave. I asked if I can get a 9-hole rain check, the guy turned me down saying because it was Prepaid through golfnow, told me to get one from them. Really? I appreciated I got ice from the bar though.

I will never return and play this course...

It has beautiful lake views and...
... yeah, thats about it

Dried up burned out hardpan fairways
Dried up greens
Sand traps hard as asphalt...
Not to mention a snack shack worker who handled EVERYTHING with her bare hands, ick...

Definitely will not return, not worth anywhere near that much money...for $120 you can play some other courses in the area twice with a better golf experience

Stonewall may be my favorite post in the NOVA area. Great conditions, great staff, great practice area/range. It's pricey so I don't play it often but always enjoy it when I do (especially off-season when it's less expensive). Always look forward to go back!

It is a fun layout and the greens were good today. It gets a lot of play from golfers who do not take care of it - lots of divots in the fairway and marks on the green - not their fault. We'll go back for sure!

We held our company (Heery) golf fundraising tournament here and were very pleased with everything. Course was beautiful, the staff were a delight to coordinate with, and the list goes on. A++. So good, we plan on going back next year.

An excellent course. This was my first time playing the course. The front 9 is easier than the back. The back calls for well placed drives and course management. It is a very nicely designed course. The greens were in great shape and rolled true.

Absolutely stunning course. Played there last fall with a couple buddies and immediately fell in love. Perfectly manicured fairways, greens, and bunkers and a stunning Virginia view. HIGHLY recommend this gem!

We ate there for brunch with two small kids and it was great. They had some wonderful whole grain croissants, homemade soups, many salads to choose from, omelet bar, and a variety of options. They also had a great mimosa special. Definitely worth the price and kids 6 & under are free.

I played there today with my brother in law. He came in from MI and i raved about this course to him as I played it last year and the course was immaculate. While The course was in good shape the greens rolled good I am giving 3 instead if 5 stars do to the condition of the course when we played. For a course of such prestige I was willing to pay the High Greens Fees. Id looked forward to this rd for a month and when we got there it looked like the PGA tour just ran a 10 day tournament there. I guess no played know how to fill there dibots and the Ball marks on the greens. If I were a greens keeper there Id have one of my guys on every green enforcing guys to repair ball marks. I probably lifted 5 ball marks every hole. I was just bummed the course had been mistreated so bad. Its a great course but somethings gotta be done about all that. Anyways. Thats my hinest review. We had a lot of fun playing. I just couldnt believe players would just blatantly disregard golf wletiqutte that much.

Stonewall Golf club and their whole staff are absolutely amazing. Being a bride during COVID-19 times has had many hurdles to overcome. After planning a wedding for 7 months, our venue decided to cancel on us two weeks before our wedding. Stonewall Gold Club and Samantha Bishop came to our rescue and became our heroes to allow us to get married on our day at their venue. We called them in tears after learning the news of our original venue. Within a day we were under contract and Samantha jumped to make this wedding exactly what we had wanted even down to offering the same meals our guest had picked to eat at our original venue. The staff was very professional and made all our guest feel comfortable. Sandy the chef created master pieces and everyone raved how wonderful all the food was from the appetizers, chicken piccata and filet minion to our late night eats. Samantha even offered her staff to help with us zooming our wedding to allow relatives not able to cross state boarders be a part of our day. We also did a brunch there the morning after the wedding and guest raved about the food, especially their famous bacon. I encourage every Bride and Groom to check out this venue if in the market for a great venue where everything will be taken care of down to the little details allowing you to enjoy your day! Thank you to all Stonewall Golf Club staff for making Andrew and my day so special and perfect!

Very good course and club house. Good (not great) practice range. Very good putting green. Challenging for golfers of all levels. Great views of the lake from several holes as well as a peak across to the exclusive RTJ course. Much of the course is routed through an upscale housing development, but doesn't come into play unless you hit a shot pretty offline. All in all a good golfing experience.

The course was beautiful and well-maintained. I paid off-season rates (~$60), otherwise I think that it is probably not worth $130 per round in season when there are so many other options nearby. Also, the course was having major problems with their electric golf carts. We had to change out our cart three times during the round because the carts couldn't hold a charge. Hopefully management replaces them soon.

Finally saved up enough to get out on this course as it's reputation allows them to charge a fortune for rounds of golf. For the price you'd expect a superb experience. This course regularly charges well over $100 to play a round. We played a round and from the word go it was bad. The staff were busy or unavailable doing other things. No one greeted or welcomed you. And the Greens were in appalling shape! Truely awful. Ripe with disease. Impossible to putt on! We also had a minimum of two grounds staff following us around at every hole in large landscaping vehicles. Just what every golfer wants! All in all terrible experience. Much better off going to Prince William for a fraction of the price to a friendly atmosphere where they look after the greens and put the customers first. 0/10 value for money. They have no right to charge that fee! Even after complaining to the manager all we got was a simple apology along with a few excuses! Joke.

Good course layout. Some course management is needed. Usually when course management is needed the course is usually a good one. Greens are in good shape. Fast greens and somewhat difficult to read. Fairways in okay shape could be better and that will happen once we're all back to business as usual.
