It's not hard to understand why this place is so well recommended and spoken in high regard.
My advice, check out the trainers in the gym. Triathlete Elaina was brilliant with her knowledge and passion.

One star is being very very generous!!!! Not really suitable for disabled people. Perhaps if this shambles of a government & E.B.Counil, stopped wasting money, then maybe these kind of places could be open to all!!!!!!

Stayed here for two nights. Great hotel for children and enjoyable for adults too. The hotel is starting to look a little frayed at the edges and could do with some refurbishment in places. Staff were lovely and helpful. The scrambled eggs are terrible. 4/5.

Have been to stoke park twice now for some time out and each time it has been brilliant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the facilities are great. I have found all of mine and my mother's treatments have always been top notch. The food has always been lovely too, though can be slightly slow at times. The staff are helpful and friendly and try their best to accommodate all of your requests. Reccomend a relaxing day here. The photo is following my mini facial.

I was taken to Humphrey's for a birthday meal and felt thoroughly spoilt. The venue is absolutely beautiful - breath-taking - and the perfect place for dinner. The A la Carte menu offers a good selection of both meat and fish dishes. I chose the Sea Trout to start followed by the Roast Cod Loin and Chocolate and Raspberry Delice for dessert. We were also given complimentary taster dishes between courses which were a lovely extra. The evening ended with tea by the log fire in the lounge before departing for home. I had a wonderful evening - thank you.

Visited for a business dinner. The venue itself is beautiful, cosy and comfortable. The staff are all incredibly polite and professional. The food was excellent. The playlist could do with updating though. I like bond themes as well as the next guy, but variety is the spice of life. :)

Wife and me had a very pleasant round of golf playing on championship course on 1st March 2019. Being winter time the course itself was as can be expected however the scenery around was beautiful - added by colourful birds.
We were looked after from start to end felt very welcome. Especial thank you to Tom from the golf team for taking care everything to do with golf on the day - it was nice to feel getting looked after

The location is fantastic (1 hour from London ) for weekend breaks. Hotel surrounded by beautiful nature giving opportunities for relaxing walks. Sport facilities include a number of indoor tennis courts, good sized swimming pool and a gym and immense golf pitches. ... The only minus for this 5* hotel is food which is only decent and very often disappointing as you expect something more from a hotel like that.

We had a lovely spa day at Stoke Park. The lunch was delicious and the perfect amount. The outdoor area was a bonus and the larger than most hot tub, especially if it's nice weather. Our treatments were fantastic. The changing rooms well stocked. Overall good value for money. Most places we found were roughly the same amount for only one treatment and this day had two each which was why we went for it. We'd like to return, perhaps when the weather is nicer.

We loved every minute here including the cocktails, lunch, dinner, room, grounds and every aspect of the service. It was a birthday celebration and the hotel marked this with style. Can t recommend highly enough and very much looking forward to returning one day.

Overall was an average stay. Could have had as good a stay and food, if not better, at a 4* for half the price. Rooms are big but not wow. Dinner was good, atmosphere lacking. Hotel probably more suitable for middle/upper aged guests. My ordered breakfast was poor, premix guacamole used instead of fresh avocado as well as those awful sloppy premixed scrambled eggs that some hotels use to save time. But it's not busy there so why not make them fresh. If you don't play golf there is nowhere to explore. Spa garden is a really nice touch. My treatment was average for a spa, they are rarely as good as seeing an independent massage therapist, though lovely staff. My partner was disappointed since he brought me for a birthday treat.

Beautiful decor & amazing food. Went for an event & found some of the (probably temporary) waiting staff couldnt speak English very well but that was a minor thing. Drinks were pricey but you expect that from a venue like this. Overall, had a brilliant time & would happily recommend it

A beautiful place on beautiful grounds. A great experience. Needs some polish on customer service and a few upgrades here and there. Beautiful spacious bathrooms. Bed was a little lumpy and needs upgrading. Historic location. Dinner was good. Biggest complaint was the check-in experience. No valet waiting to take our car--our check-in and our request for valet were greeted as a bother. Our tea wasn't brought to our room as offered. Ice was melted in the champagne bucket so champagne was warm in our room upon arrival, too. Just the place is nice and quiet. A welcome luxury after a few nights in the countryside.

Disappointing hotel! They show a picture of their grand hotel structure but they ended up keeping us in a poorly structured building which is away from the actual hotel. If you want to eat at their restaurant you need to walk to the other building from the outside. They called the room a suite- it was a room with a sofa next to the bed. Not a suite in any shape or form. Extremely disappointed, definitely not 5 star and never going back.

Great walking area in forest with some hard walking paths. Some bench seats in places to rest and watch wild life. Lovely through the different seasons. Let's hope we keep this green space to enable everyone keeping active & enjoy the countryside.

Lovely setting. Just let down by our room that was falling apart.... (tudor). For the money you pay you'd expect perfection. Sadly not the case. Sockets not working, light switch falling off, toilet didn't flush, paint peeling off balcony walls, curtains not closing..

Boodles tennis catering is poorly organised having to move from tent to tent for different food and drink items. No ice available on such a hot drink won't be going back. On the plus side excellent tennis

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July with our 7 month old and 2 year old. I have been to Stoke Park many times before but this was our first stay. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm and so we had to go to the restaurant and wait there. We pay for this and its check in time and no apology or late check out or reimbursement or anything was offered which was very disappointing. When we did get our room which was an executive suite with terrace it was lovely and luxurious with a paw patrol single bed and pack for our toddler which encouraged him to sleep there. The hotel and grounds are stunning. We didn't get to use any facilities as we really needed to get to our room first which we were not able to. We didn't want not have to open suitcases in hallways to take out swimwear etc. Such a shame as we paid a fortune and thereafter had a wedding to attend. The 4 is given because it is lovely but many improvements can be made to food, service and staff.

Booked a room, dinner and spa package for my wife ...

Booked a room, dinner and spa package for my wife s birthday. Now I m told there is a birthday party on site, so no chance of a relaxing meal or sleep due to loud music until midnight. Hotel reservations and management clearly didn t care and were utterly useless, offering a terrace room as a goodwill gesture. Who can use a terrace in November? They also wouldn t honour a spa/room offer that is clearly stated on their website, showing zero flexibility for inconveniencing us. I ve cancelled my entire booking and we re going to Pennyhill Park instead. Their reservations team couldn t have been more helpful!

Why would you spend a large amount of money here when that is the type of service you can expect? Since booking I ve read similar reviews of the service here so it seems my experience is not unusual.

This place is an institution. A beautiful house surrounded by a truly marvellous landscape. You have to visit the golf course to enjoy the countless views. The hotel, try to get a room at the mansion, is truly one of the greats. Same goes for the restaurant and it's outstanding chefs. We will definitely come here again.

Stoke Park is a little full of itself. The prices certainly keep the riff raff out. The odd thing is that there are still people about prepared to pay! I have played courses just as good for much less.
