Not bad at all. Good food and beer, and a nice atmosphere.. A tad expensive for what you get but it's probably the most famous Beethoven pub in Bonn so it's not unreasonable..

Service takes care of itself rather than looking after guests.

You get a place and after 20 minutes of waiting and active questions, finally a menu. It should be mentioned that the restaurant was not even completely full.

A good tip to enjoy the atmosphere in Bonn Brauhaus

Were in Bonn for the Christmas market and sat comfortably in the boot and ate delicious.

The inn in the heart of Bonn offers a selection of classic fare such as Schnitzel or steak, but also the Rheinische Sauerbraten has found its home here.
The food tastes good, the location is well connected. However, this restaurant attracts rather an older audience and is well suited for the target group pensioners sciher. The waiters are partly friendly, others a bit grumpy. But you are served fast.
Price wise, the whole thing is quite steep, even if the portions are very neat.

In the evening for me unorganized staff, with long waiting times, yet very friendly. Food was ok but not for me out. Too bad, because the ambience is great

Good food and bad service

The service was * unobtrusive *, slow, forgetful.
System seem to have none. Everyone comes over and asks, or not. There are probably no fixed tables for the individual "specialist" forces.
As an operator, I would do some training there, but maybe that does not matter?

The food is actually quite good. We were there with a group; However, a group of drunk teenagers disturbed. But what did not go was a supposed minimum turnover of 15 euros for card payment! Something like that should really be done in 2019. This is customer-friendly and also not allowed if the card payment has been made public. Since I had no cash in anticipation of a problem-free and contactless card payment with GPay, an exception was made, but the customer also taught, you pay no small amounts with card. No: the customer must decide for himself how he pays!

Last night we tried to eat here in the evening. That was not so easy: the haxe offered at the entrance with a large sign did not exist anymore. Alternatively, I ordered the boot spit. It did not exist anymore.
Then I ordered heaven and earth. When the food arrived, the black pudding was quite hard and inedible. The food apparently came warmed up from the microwave. I let that go back and ordered a schnitzel as a substitute. Luckily the hock was suddenly available again. That was okay.
But food from the microwave I can make myself at home.
Summary: Guest room is nice and service friendly, but in the kitchen a chef is missing and on the toilet someone who sometimes cleans the mirror on the sink - that looks unappetizing. That's why I'm only a star.

The "steak Thursday" is a joke. The meat offered as rumpsteak was very greasy and more reminiscent of pork neck steak. That the portions are very small is still added, but rather not so bad. The staff is nice, which makes bad food but unfortunately nothing good.

The boot completely disappointed me!
not only that I pulled the rivets at the food raffle, food was not served at the table with the others.
What was then served 20 minutes late (most of the table had almost finished eating) knocked me out of my boots,
optically it looked like it was thrown on the plate, (fried) potatoes had only seen the pan for a few seconds, less than lukewarm, tasty,
I would rather not say anything about it, meat sparingly but at least grade (3-) although only lukewarm, I would actually have to subtract something.
In total once and never again !!

If there were a prize for the worst fries in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, this would certainly forgive the boot: an unaccustomed, lax-tasting mass whose form is merely reminiscent of fries. Even with an award for the fadeste Sauerkraut ranked the boot far ahead. The "small gourmet sausage" served various small sausages tasted z.T. so bad that they had to be secretly disposed of in a napkin. Only the excellent mashed potatoes, which was rather a potato mash in terms of consistency, was the reason why the boot could save itself on two stars. Maybe you can sip a delicious beer here, but to eat well, the place is definitely not! Since the good bourgeois cuisine of the brewhouse has the nose far ahead.

The waitresses are always lovely and extremely authentic. This makes me absolutely happy every time I visit, the chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables particularly appropriate. There you certainly don't get the feeling of having dinner in a can like fish. The selection of drinks was not bad for my siblings and me! It is fine all the time and we had a nice afternoon there.

Tasty and cool. Easily accessible by public transport. In the evening a bit loud but that shows how popular the boot is.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice and friendly service. It was very crowded around 8pm, so you might not find a place with a larger group. The freshly drawn gaffel tastes perfect.

Very good typical restaurant, good atmosphere and friendly, polite and friendly servers, excellent value for money, I have eaten a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. In addition it is the oldest restaurant in Bonn.
