We had our Christmas party in the boot. I ordered cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately, these were totally dry; Cheese was barely available. The only cheese was the zubacken, even this was totally hard and obviously only warmed up. The salad was okay, but more reminiscent of cafeteria. For me, the store was therefore not convincing. Operation nice.

Service was very friendly, but the food was disappointing. It was served about 10-15 minutes after ordering, which suggests that everything is cooked in heap. The fried potatoes were mushy and the schnitzel dripping with fat. The meat was of good quality, but you could have made more of it. Pity...

Good home cooking. Enough portions. You will definitely be full. Roulades could be a bit softer. Pork tenderloin and Sauerbraten tiptop. The food was nothing to complain about the dishes. Inn can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Very friendly service.

The food was delicious! But it was SOO loud and hot that you could barely talk and you longed for fresh air. But if you enjoy the ambience of a quaint, German pub that still has wood-turned beams and really wants to eat well, you're in the right place.

Nice atmosphere, despite the historic building and the historical furnishings not as musty and 'beer house-like' as you might expect, but thanks to the nice and relaxed service cheerful and pleasant to linger.

On the recommendation of our nice hotel lady came here. Excellent! Were absolutely not disappointed. Somewhat inconspicuous from the outside, totally rustic and cozy atmosphere from the inside. The service welcomes you more than friendly, has funny sayings in stock and you immediately feel welcome. Food plentiful and great taste. That's what I call home cooking. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Bonn and can only recommend it. Thank you for the great evening!

Food is ok, choice, quality as well as price. Service sometimes a bit overwhelmed but always friendly. The central location right on the Bertha-von-Suttner Platz is ideal and you can sit outside, always a good starting point for an evening in Bonn.

Very friendly staff with Rhineland flair. Visited at lunchtime. Pleasantly noticed: good home cooking (tastes good) and speedy service. The ambience is impressive. The outside is rustic - fits the restaurant type.

Unfortunately, the volume here is always a bit higher, because it is a spatially open locality. Prices are in the normal price segment. Very centrally located. The service is mostly very friendly. For the cleanliness there are however small deductions. Ideal to have a beer in the evening.

This is exactly what you expect from a brewery. Brisk service, simple and delicious German cuisine, decent beer and neat, rustic furnishings. A visit can be perfectly combined right next to Van Beethoven's birthplace. I like to come back to eat and drink. The boot can be seen directly from Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz.

I went back and during the COVID period something has changed.
Reduced menu compared to the pre-COVID period but always excellent food quality
I suggest the house wienerschnitzel which is really "super"
To try the soup in bread, if you order this wait to order a second, evaluate after eating it because in addition to being good .... it also fills the belly.

Always excellent beers

As an old Bonn eatery, you naturally go for boots. Great ambience, in which we spent our this year's Christmas party.

I would like to emphasize once again my respect and thanks to the ONE waiter, who was turned off by us until the local for us (an absurdity of the boss, so to plan!). Thank you, that you almost managed to get along with it almost 90 people!
The closing time was well deserved!
