Not only is the food good, the entertainment is top flight. They bring in a lot of great out-of-town acts tat yu can't see anywhere else in the area. A really good place to eat and sit up close to the musicians, and meet them afterwards if you want to.

The food was only fair. Only ketchup to dip sweet potato fries in, etc.

Not sure about the food, just had drinks. If Jackie Warren is there and stayis to entertain after the main gig is done, consider yourself very lucky!!!

Ambiance was great, waiter was great, entertainment was great, chicken caprese not so good. Chicken was overdone and the cheese stuffing was gone due to overcooking.

Jazz affectionados will love this small eatery. Food and music! Wow

A Cleveland Heights tradition for food and entertainment. Have quality performers on a small stage. Seats are close to one another and are placed around tables. The performers are presented as formal acts rather than background music

Performance venue that allows you to literally be seated as close as a few feet from world class performers. I love this place for concerts. And great food. And also I've been to quite a few special events--birthday parties, wedding receptions etc. in various rooms and patios. Always wonderful. Go there for a meal, a concert, a party. Or just for the feeling of cameraderie of a great neighborhood pub.

New Year's Brunch 2020:
-Arrived at 12pm
-Ordered at 12:15pm
-1:45pm no food came out, we walked out. As we were walking out, only then we were informed our order ticket was lost. Unsure if that's true, since other tables that ordered at the same time as us were still not served. Manager offered us a gift card, but we won't be coming back. Only thing keeping us from leaving earlier was the lovely jazz concert.

In from out of town, we were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday. No option was given to buy tix to see a show. The first two meals we ordered were out, it wasn't even 8pm. Kind of disappointing. I would not return or recommend. The three stars are for the potential this place does have.

Went there for a friend's birthday party. It was a nice place, a little $$$$ for breakfast. Never really had dinner there. My friend has her birthday breakfast there alot.

Great food, but the service tonight was not good at all.

We had 5:30 reservations for our first dining experience at Nightown. Our server was very stressed because she had too many tables. We were seated next to a party of 6 very loud, celebrating people.
The Clam Chowder was wonderful. The dinners were good.

We went for the first time for our anniversary. We saw Brazilian jazz guitarist Moises Borges, who was wonderful. I had the Sockeye salmon special; my wife had the Pesto Pappardelle (pasta). Both were excellently prepared with good size portions. We both had the French onion soup, which was almost a meal in itself. We shared a truly unique and delicious blueberry crisp for desert that was made with lavender that had both a great taste and aroma. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful in identifying the dishes we would like the best. The atmosphere truly evokes a 1920's Dublin bar. The only change we would suggest would be a candle or small light at the tables during the performance. The valet parking was economical very convenient, and had our car quickly when we left. We definitely look forward to returning to Night Town.

Loved!!! Outstanding live show of Jakie Warren and Sammy De Leon among other musicians. Excellent Latin music players. We enjoyed a lot, almost 4 hours there. Food was delicious and service was very good. We recommend this place in full.

I went to Nighttown a few years ago for my high school reunion first night mixer and had a great experience. I was able to return a few weeks ago for a wedding reception for a great friend, and I can tell you that the staff and facility were excellent. Nighttown has an amazing ambiance and its great to come to a place with great food and great entertainment as well as a local piece of Cleveland's night scene.

Second visit since June and again the wait/ service was unacceptable, I've been patronizing establishment since the eighties, not sure what's happening. Sad!!!

For decades, this has been the place in Northeast Ohio to Hear jazz and related music. The music is always great and whoever picks the artist really knows what they're doing. Surprisingly, there's a good menu with tasty food and a full bar at fair prices.

Probably my most favorite spot in all of Cleveland. Great drinks, great atmosphere, great entertainment.

Nice cozy ambiance with great food and awesome drinks. But the lady who waited on our table was very rude. She served everyone around us who came later than us but never even bothered to check on us even to get drinks orders. Felt very out of place for no reason of ours. Not a hospitable experience for us.

Great food, fun yet classy atmosphere. And their desserts are to die for. Check out the chocolate torte and the creme brulee....best restaurant desserts I've ever had.

Great venue with wonderful history and great staff. Atmosphere and posters are priceless. Food is familiar and comfortable but is only good. If only the food and drinks were brought up a notch it would be both historic and excellent.

My favorite place in Cleveland. Historical restaurant with live music 7 days a week, amazing ambiance and great food.

The brunch here is great! I thought it was just a jazz club with some food options, but this place is a real deal quality restaurant. It is Irish/British themed, and they have a lot of different options to choose from. I got the salad with steak, and it was great. My only complaint was that my steak was overcooked. It tested delicious, but was way too tough. Can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu.

Let s be clear!!! I love eating here. For the past 13 years I ve been eating here. The food is good and the staff is nice and helpful. I stopped in for the 1,000 time this Sunday and sat at the bar. My server/bartender was very nice. The food came out very fast. I never have an issue with parking. On the busy nights they have valet. My favorite is the wedge salad with extra bacon. The blue cheese is not overwhelming. It s great. For the main entree I love The Dublin Lawyer. I can t get enough!

Paid $50 for tickets to a jazz show and dinner reservation. The tickets specified that a table reservation was part of the deal. We showed up on time for the event only to find that we were expected to find out own seats in an overcrowded and clearly oversold room in the building. The only thing available for my $50 "reservation" was a tiny table under a face-level wall sconce behind and to the side of the "stage." There was no word of suggestion to be there early, that I wouldn't actually have a decent table for my money. Absolutely ridiculous. I recommend you avoid this joke of an establishment, I don't care how long they've been open.

Excellent food. Waitress was very attentive and great. She did ask about my Steelers this year and had fun chatting about both teams. I didn't get her name but she was from Dublin.
Don't get to Cleveland often my friend brought me there for the 2nd time and will certainly come back.

First time at Nighttown, and got to see Sammy De Leon for the first time as well. Amazing performance. I had two of their specialty cocktails and their cheesecake and it was all amazing and reasonably priced. Perfect place for a date night, or out with close friends. I can't wait to go back!!

Favorite for decades! Lunch menu is terrific and the Patio is airy yet comfortably protected from direct sun or weather.
Design and Construction fans will love being able to see the progress of the long awaited Top of The Hill project under way.
Our late lunch found a number of other patrons on the Patio. A nice little crowd.
Support Local Restaurants and Nighttown is the best!

They were out of my favorite app but oh well...wish the waitress would have said something. We come here all the time but this time was a little lack luster. Still worth going.

Normally love this place and will likely come back for the music. Our party spent over $700 a couple weeks ago. 1 out of 15 people was very dissatisfied with her dish. Wish the waitress had handled that better instead of asserting unsolicited that she would not be taking the dish off the check because it was what she ordered. Who does that on a $700 bill? Someone wasn't thinking straight. Put a cloud over our celebratory business dinner and left a sour taste in our mouths. To bad. I hope service and training aren't slipping in this Cleveland Heights gem.

Had the lobster pot pie and clam chowder on the side. Despite the prices on the menu, I was thoroughly impressed with the taste of the food. For any tourists, I would strongly recommend this. Blew my mind.

We had a very disappointing experience last evening. We had reservations for a group of around 25 people. They only had one person staffed to help us. We waited over an hour for our drink order to be taken and two hours for food to be served. Some of our group had to leave before our order was even taken. They are guaranteed their gratuity for a group that size but not repeat business.

Very dark in side, good food, cozy, slow service at lunch.

Absolute disaster. If u cant handle a crowd on a holiday...without denying substitutions you dont deserve to be in business...if ur chefs cant handle it...you dont deserve to be in business

Brunch was served cold, lobster was overcooked and rubbery. Gave me diarrhea within 20 mins of leaving.

Definitely nice and cozy. Small restaurant but pretty great. Only 4 starts because of the size. The food was phenomenal. Ordered the crab cake which was Devine and the Chicken salad.

The Halloumi Brunch item is fantabulous! The place is rooted in Cleveland. It'ss worth checking out if you're visiting Cleveland.

A Cleveland landmark. Arguably the best known jazz venue in the city. Name bands and artists and the best local talent. Recommended.

I have been here a couple times now. Recently visited for a bridal shower. It was hot outside and inside as well. Made for an very uncomfortable visit. It was in the middle of the afternoon. We were the only customers

Last night I went to see Chuchito Valdes show. Upon arrival at 8p, we were seated with another couple in a tiny room. We were not given any menus, the other couples shared their menu. The server never greeted us to say his name. He just brought water where the ice was melted. The whole service was not good. It was packed and the servers were overwhelmed you can tell they were short staffed.

We just the wedding here between Robin and Bill. Nightown has a nice but small party room. The atmosphere in the various rooms is quaint. The food was good too. I reccomend a visit here to take in the speakeasy feel. We had the fillet and salmon. Both dishes were great! We'll be back soon!

The ambiance is nice, although I could see it feeling crowded when busy. I had the caprice chicken, which was good. My fiance had a burger which was strictly "meh." You could easily hear the jazz band throughout the restaurant but it was not disruptive. They were not impressive that night, however. Overall a nice night but not quite worth the money.
