Love this place! Great atmosphere, awesome food, and a good selection of beer. Try the Wynton if you like gin.

Had a great experience the food was great and the concert was really nice
Great food, excellent entertainment. Good times always.
Order the lobster pot pie through Ubereats and it was amazing it has huge chunks of real lobster meat, I will be visiting the restaurant soon!
Excellent food, top notch entertainment and the service was first rate.
LOVE this place. I hosted my sister's bridal shower in one of the private rooms here. Management was SUPER easy to work with and the food was AMAZING.
Whenever in the neighborhood, I make sure to stop in for a quick drink at the bar, and it is my go-to suggestion for west-side friends venturing east.
Server was friendly, but that was the best thing about my experience, nothing else.
Smoked salmon burger was definitely not what I expected. It tasted like it was from the can similar to tuna fish, which I steer clear from, and it was greasy. The asparagus had no flaver and tasted slightly overcooked. Very disappointed.
Ordered picked up on Oct 27th 2019 at 10:20pm
It's a great spot to hear jazz. The food and drinks were okay too.
Great venue, decent food. Pricey small menu but worth it! Try the veal meatloaf
Good food at a cheep price. Great place to talk. Out door and in dorr seating
This place is amazing, we come every year. I would give it 5 stars but we went to a dance party and it was awful. The DJ played the same song twice within the first 30 min. Thus is not the type of dance party that costs $10, it's the type of dance party that should be free. The DJ legit told us that he doesn't understand how to work the microphone; as a laymen, I could do better. ( so could you for $10 )
NT has always been a favorite place for me. The food, service, and ambiance are always excellent! It's not at all expensive considering what you get for your money. Besides, who deserves it more than you! My favorite, the Dublin Lawyer of course.
I attended a private party. The party room is nice. Valet parking is a bargain at $6.00 for the entire evening. This establishment is very small. I was put off by the mouse that ran behind the bar above the mural
Went to hear Latin jazz which was cool. The food was very good.
My family stopped in to celebrate my dads birthday. The worst part of the trip was how we were treated by the staff. We had issues with food and drink not being served, prime rib being undercooked, flat iron steak being overcooked, butter not being served woth potatoes.... the list is long. I would not be writing this if it were only for that. The problem was how poorly we were treated when we asked for the issues to be resolved. I get it, stuff happens, but the way they dealt with it was unacceptable. And the food was mediocre at best to top it all off....
It cool personally i kow some 1 theair it has nice. A nice severice cool thing happenz and alot of variety of choices Of gerat delicious meal AAnd its qyit......And yess i 100% turret sorry about my specials speed textin but i heard its off the i c the chain riddle......later im. 1 .....
Great service! The Dublin Lawyer was amazing and couldn't be any better....thank you! I looked like an Irish Daigo though...my bad....
Good music. Good food and drink. Very crowded seating, however.
Delicious food, as always! Great service and very relaxing patio!
I've been to Nighttown several times over the past few years. It is very nice during concerts, drinks are good, the service is cool, and the atmosphere is nice. I have always been disappointed by the food though; the menu makes it sound like a fine dining restaurant but I've not tried anything that was actually good. To be fair, it is not bad either, but there are many restaurants in the Cleveland area that have more inspiring menus, better quality and more well-finished dishes that it makes every experience at Nighttown disappointing.
Awesome place to be great atmosphere good drinks and food
Great music. Great service. Open late on weekends with free music at the bar. Classy joint. They have National Acts. Last week The Count Basie band was in
Good food, good fun and great atmosphere. Excellent music.
My friend and I read all of Les Roberts' books where this is the go-to neighborhood restaurant for his main character, Milan Jacovich. It was a long holiday weekend and we decided to do something outside our neighborhood. We were not disappointed! I had the Famous Dublin Lawyer and my friend had the Bangers and Mash. Both were excellent. We will make the trek to the other side of town more frequently now.
The food is great, and the entertainment always tops.
Nightgown has a great atmosphere and amazing food! I recommend the salmon (there are a few options) and the brunch menu is full of great choices. I've never been to a show there, but I used to live in one of the apartments above the restaurant and I can tell you the music is consistently awesome, too. Prices are fairly high but it's a great choice for a special occasion.
Wonderful flavors and nice atmosphere. Certainly worth a visit if your in the area.
Always a great meal;- brunch, lunch, dinner.
Fabulous entertainment.
Impeccable service.
Love omlets for brunch, fish & shrimp for dinner.
For well over 30 years, never a bad meal in restaurant, theater, outdoor or covered patio.
I always take out-of-town guests there!!!
Food was very good. Coffee was not. Atmosphere could use an update. The idea of eating dinner and watching live entertainment is great.
Delicious, reliable food, love the value of the early bird, wine pour price could reflect a happy hour....
Great dinner (Veal Meatloaf - specialty) and wonderful piano entertainment by George Foley!
I was there for a birthday party. The room selection was good, there was ample parking in the back, and the small plate selections were delicious.
Great spot for music and a bite to eat. Best music spot in the Heights for an adult audience.
It was really nice the waitress had good customer service and the food was good
Need a new chef. Need to update the menu and start offering the great lunch specials they use to offer .
Huge venue but split into multiple rooms, preserving an intimate atmosphere. Food is reliably good and reasonably priced.
Awesome food and service. They also have reasonable valet service as well.
I did paint night here and ordered the cheeseburger and fries. No complaint. But I have been here on numerous occasions and if you enjoy seafood, try the Dublin Lawyer. I've had their filet mignon but had yo send ut back 2 times and wasn't pleased with the third. Entertainment is always good. When you walk in, you will always see tge regulars. This is a smooth jazzy atmosphere.
This review is my opinion only. They try to be a ritzy jazz club, but, despite their self-aggrandizing claims, a Birdland they're not. They have had some world-renowned acts in the past, but lately seem to depend on local and third-string acts. These acts are generally very good, but the place doesn't do them justice. They have a house sound system that looks and sounds like it came second-hand from a 1950 s-era grade school classroom, and the place is fairly clean, but shabby. They use "New York seating" to cram the customers in like sardines, which is tons of fun when you're served your dinner and there's no room to move. . They also advertise no reserved seats, but they reserve them for "important" local dignitaries like local councilmen, just not us common folk who nevertheless pay full price for tickets, which happened when we went to hear Ramsey Lewis there a few years ago. Class discrimination is alive and well, folks. The acts are introduced by an overbearing, obnoxiously condescending sleazoid who could play a 1970's era used car salesman in the movies.
Other than the baba ghanouj, the food is "meh" and way overpriced. It's not bad; just worth half of what they charge.
Love it here! Good food and awesome entertainment.
Our go to place in the Heights. Great food, great service, its where the locals go.
Here watching Michael Wolfe trio. They are off the chain!
Music and jazz, watch for performers you like. We will go there again.
Been going here for years. Fun place. Both live no cost music often and great performance music. Excellent food. Friendly helpful no attitude staff. Tip them well. Enjoy. Large municipal parking lot adjacent to restaurant. Went again tonight. Great time!
Good appetizers. Guinness was authentic. Not inexpensive though
Love coming to establishments with personality. Did not disappoint, and the food was great.
Thegroup was awesome sonuvo 21.00 for ahamburger and u have red tape on the floor holding the carpet together.really
Went for a rehearsal dinner for a friend's wedding. Beautiful patio and professional staff. It may have been the fact that they were trying to serve 20 some people at once, but my chicken while expertly cooked, was cold when it finally made its way to me. Wife and I plan to go back just the two of us soon for a better sampling of the kitchen. Until then it stays at 4 .
Husband and I went here for the first time for a concert. Show (Bob James) was excellent.
Seating arrangements, parking, and service not so much. We were very surprised to find that the only parking options were either valet parking for $5 or metered parking in the back. No free parking at all, in a suburban neighborhood!
We arrived right at 7pm and could barely squeeze into a table, with the show sold out, and tables packed together. Literally 4 inches between tables, no exaggeration.
We were seated at a wobbly table way in the back, where we only had a glimpse of the stage.
Two servers were handling tables but neither one acknowledged us. After 20 minutes I asked one if we could place an order. He left and came back 5 minutes later to take our order. Another 10 minutes to get drinks. The show ended at about 8:30, with no sign of our food.
We waved down the server, who apologized and told us our food would be out in about 10 more minutes, and he would box it up to go. 10 more minutes later, still no food.
Server was busy handing out half a dozen bills and ringing people out
We ended up just leaving without our food. We were looking forward to eating during the show.
Apparently you have to arrive 60 or more minutes before the show if you want to be served in time to eat during the show, and to get a halfway decent table.
I'd go back for a show if it was another musician I was really eager to see, but I'd be really reluctant to order any food.
Overall very disappointed! Two stars only because the music was good.
Great place to listen to music and have dinner. Love it.
I like the idea of the place. The space, however, could really use some renovations.
Loved this place, excellent early bird specials, will be back !!
The live piano & singing were lovely will return.
We have been to nighttown years ago and we liked it. This time however we didnt like it. The wait staff was slow and everytime we needed something we had to hunt somebody down and they werent even busy. Also the cost of the food is just to high for the portions you get. $13.00 for one tiny crabcake? The chicken we had was very salty and my rice was undercooked. Even the small cocktails we had were to expensive. Very disappointing.
Been going there for years! Never been disappointed. Great jazz weekends!
I was there for a fundraiser on the patio. It was a very pleasant experience. I would go back to eat the next time I'm in Cleveland.
Great evening with friends. We sat in a patio area that was enclosed, with beautiful white lights strung along the ceiling. Food was good. We waited a little too long for our entrees but our server acknowledged the wait and apologized. All in all, a very good experience.
Love the atmosphere and the vibe. Definitely going back.
House (Side) Salad looked great. Unfortunately I ordered the cajun dinner salad that cost $16 and was pretty lame. The Ahi Tuna salad my daughter ordered was even worse. Small portions, overpriced menu. Slowest lunch service ever considering it wasn't even busy. I hear they have good music at night.
Food and service was great however the wait for the food for a large group was long.
Always great food and great service. The only reason I give 4/5 is due to the change in lighting in the bar room dining area. Unfortunately, the cozy, warm lighting was replaced by harsh, white hanging lamps. Sadly, this has ruined the previously cozy and inviting feel of this room. If there s anyway to change it back, I would more likely return to this otherwise excellent restaurant in Cleveland Hts.
Nighttown is a FANTASTIC place to see a performer. It is an intimate venue with great food!
I will certainly return!
Wonderful food, varied menu... interesting layout includes original rooms and (careful, don't make a wrong turn) meanders through later additions... 3 PATIOS too! Staff is SO nice. Back to the menu, "Dublin Lawyer" was SO delicious!!! It was really hard to narrow down what to order, we finally decided--- WE WILL HAVE TO GO BACK AGAIN!!!!
Very good food reasonable prices. I got the baby back ribs huge portion of food #yum
Alex Bugnon concert was awesome, excellent service and food. Fun was had by all .
This is a great establishment - the bartenders are nice and friendly the food is excellent, it's a great place to hang out and relax.
