We just left Chamberlains and had a beautiful birthday dinner for my wife. Our server was Joey and he was enthusiastic and served us just fine. Everyone was pleased with their order and they even gave my wife her choice of a free desert for her birthday. This is a classy restaurant and everytime I ve visited it has been a great time.

Thank you all!

Superb, friendly service, special requests are cheerfully accepted, the food quality and presentation are great. The Alaskan Halibut, in season now, is outstanding. Inlove their steaks, so choosing was a real dilema.

Excellent food and service(we had Shay who was phenomenal)! From the time we walked in up until we left, everyone was friendly, prompt, and the food came out quickly and was superb. For reference, we had the prime rib, New York strip 14oz, shared a chop house salad, and also had the lobster deviled eggs as the starter(last 3 all pictured).

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice night out with great food!

We've been here a few times over the years and have always had a good experience. The food is always excellent and we have always had great service. Don't expect everyone to be dressed up at Chamberlains. We've been there before where guests were wearing ball caps. Dressing in nice jeans or business casual attire seems more the norm.

On our most recent visit, my wife had the pea soup and pork chops. She said both were outstanding. I had the lobster bisque and peppercorn steak and it was outstanding. We also had a side of the asian inspired green beens, which were also excellent.

Our waiter was attentive, friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

Chamberlain's is not cheap, but it's not the most expensive place either. The quality of the restaurant is worth the price.

We ordered for curbside pickup to celebrate our anniversary while in lockdown and the online ordering was smooth and easy, my order was ready by the time I pulled up, everything was delicious and reasonably priced, and they even threw in a slice of their wonderful coconut cream pie! Can't wait to go in person once we can do so!

We were looking forward to a good steak but were blown away by the quality and selection on the menu. Our waiter, Jason, was superb. From the professional, welcoming greet as we walked through the door (in somewhat casual clothes), to Jason's help with the wine list and menu selection it was by and far the nicest dinner outing I have ever experienced. We chose veal chops for our main entree and they were fabulous. We enjoyed several glasses of wine, and of course took the Uber back to the hotel. Five stars.

After reading reviews and eating here once before I thought I would try the curbside special they were offering, I must have ordered the wrong steak I understand that a ny strip is not the most tender cut but still a prime strip not select or choice but prime strip shouldn t be tough as leather, #worststeakever

Fantastic service in every single way. I went here for a business meeting , and we sat in the cigar room. I can not remember our servers name, but she was amazing. My drink never ran dry, out bread was always replenished, and not a single order was wrong out of the 15 people in our group. It was a tad bit loud when we went, but, to each their own for that I guess. The meal was fantastic also, just perfect. I would have liked a bit more char on my steak, but was still amazing.

We tried out Chamberlain s for restaurant week, and we definitely would come back! Everything we ordered surpassed our expectations. The only critique I would say is that our Lobster Bisque came out just barely warm, but other than the taste was top notch. I have to give chamberlain credit that my Filet Mignon came out extra rare just how I ordered it. Surprisingly enough, many well known steak houses have always overcooked my steak.

Because of the nice reviews, I took my out-of-town friends for dinner hoping to impress them with Texas hospitality and steaks. Tried to make reservations, but the line was busy, so we went there knowing we may have to wait. And wait we did and we did not mind, however, we did not feel neither welcome nor appreciated. After being seated, nobody attended to us for 25 minutes. The server disappeared for long times. It took 15 minutes to get the bill after we requested it. The food was passable at best. Sides were too salty. Dry mashed potatoes, run-of-the-mill salad. The trout? Can't describe the taste. Instead of real butter they serve margarine. The steak was supposed to be medium-rare, but was well done. A complaint to the manager fell on deaf ears. I wondered if the fact my guests had brown skin had anything to do with the poor service. May be not, but we felt ignored and neglected. Will not go back.

I have lived near here for over 20 year. I have tried every top steak house in Dallas (or Chicago or DC or...) at least twice, but this one I had not. I had tried their fish joint. Ok, this was not good at all. The food was just horrible. Starting with the green beans, drowned in some insipid sweet sauce. Everyone agreed that it was unpleasant. My order got messed up. They gave me a side of grits instead of the mashed potatoes. The grits were well gritty. I got them to toss the grits and give me what I had ordered. The potatoes were decent. The 24 Ounce Medium rare porterhouse... Dang, where to start. It was cold and purple on the outside in spite of being charred on the outside. I sent it back to try to get it to medium rare. When it finally came back, others were finishing their meal. It was still not medium rare. It was still purple in some places... not quite rare. Given the time I tried to eat it. I did eat some of it. I shred bites of it and the comments were "charred taste" and under cooked. A friend was talking about how disappointing his pork chop was as well. Quit a large bill for such poor service and such poor food. At no point did we ask or were we offered any accommodation for the problems of the bad service or the food issues. We would have refused, but I wonder that they made no move. I guess this is just their normal and feel good with it. None of us will be returning.

I arrived prior to open and STILL had to ask for service as they seated people arriving afterwards. New Years Eve restricted menu was a koke not worthy of a steak house. Last time I go there.

We went to celebrate our 15th anniversary. The service was top notch! We had the Chilean Seabass, mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, and the aged ribeye. There was no need for a knife because that Seabass just flaked apart. I've never had a Ribeye that sliced and melted like a filet mignon..........until now! They also gave us the creme brulee for dessert on the house. Delicious Not too sweet, not too bland, perfect balance.

Somewhat reluctantly I m posting a mediocre review since our past few curbside pick up meal experiences have been less than expected. The main issues have been order accuracy (missing items or wrong items) and overcooked entrees. The pepper corn filet I ordered medium rare was delivered medium well plus. The copper river salmon we specifically ordered medium rare and requested please don t overcook it, was delivered to us medium plus and much drier than what we regularly enjoyed at the Fish Market in years past. And now also the curbside servers no longer wear masks. Why? All in all, this is not meeting our expectations. I know these times are hard but these all seem to be preventable mistakes to us. We need to pursue other options.

I've been to Chamberlain's before, for special occasions typically. I joined the text message list and found out they were doing curbside specials during the Shelter in Place period in Dallas. Great food and a great price as usual. We ordered the Halibut, NY Strip and Coconut Shrimp and they were all perfect That was expected. What amazed me is how they still manage to give memorable experiences even with curbside! They were gracious and attentive as always! Good Job Chamberlain's! I'm going to check my texts and comeback for sure!

While this is clearly a higher end establishment, from the time you walk through the door: the staff treats everyone very professionally and with a lot of courtesy. You can wait for a table and order a couple dishes to share or sit at the bar and make some friends.

The prime rib is outstanding the ribeye medium rare is wonderful. Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes...absolutely wonderful.

If you have the interest in some after dinner scotch, whiskey or drink of your choice...and you happen to like smoking cigars, there is a cigar lounge attached. One of the best I have been to across the country. If they have live piano music: stock your head in there and listen to it.

Service is the best ask for Jason. We had a blast joking around with him. Anything you get on the menu will be great. The cigar bar was very chill good looking girls. This was more for my bosses I'm not a smoker so I left after 20 mins.

Presentation and atmosphere was wonderful, our waiter was top notch, and most of the food was delicious! However, the $40, 40 day aged ribeye steak was bland and full of hard chewy fat. I've had 10x better and half the price at Hard Eight BBQ. I will admit though the steak was cooked medium rare to perfection, but was expecting better flavor.

Wonderful establishment that deserves all the praise it gets. Our waiter Lewis was not only professional and friendly, but was very knowledgeable of the menu. Thank you for such a wonderful time I can't wait to come back and recommend you guys to everyone!

Stopped here as a part of a bachelor party, sitting in one of the private dining rooms. Appetiser platter was great. Wine list is impressive with decent selection, as expected heavy on the California red blends. Good wine to be found and had. Bone in filet is delightful, only complaint is 1 out of 10 steaks came out poorly done, (asked for Med-Rare got Well-Done). Got it re-fired very quickly and the response was great, but at that price point shouldn't happen, but this is life. Was equally impressed to see it taken off the bill.

The restaurant was amazing and great service, but the cigar lounge not so much! We sat in the cigar lounge for about 20 mins with no service.... Sad part is we actually went for the cigar lounge and ended up leaving with enjoying a cigar!!

It's been around for quite a long time but deserves to be here. It's still one of the best steakhouses (and fish grills) in Dallas, TX (though technically it's in Addison).
We tend to eat at Chamberlain's steakhouse every couple of months and Feb 23rd, 2019 was our latest visit.
Since they opened their Cigar Lounge at the back of the restaurant we've always opted to eat in there. It's quite an intimate space with only about seven or eight tables for diners, plus leather sofas, chairs and coffee tables in the corners, and a baby grand piano where a musician plays and sings two or three nights a week.
I'm not a cigar smoker but the A/C usually does a pretty good job of pulling out the smoke. This time I had a cigarette smoker sitting right behind me which meant I went home reeking of cigarettes, which was unpleasant.
Over the years we've had most items on the menu, though we usually settle on our favorites - Lobster bisque, filet mignon and prime rib.
Their soups, steaks, lamb chops, and also fish are always excellent as well. (If you like Brussels sprouts I highly recommend trying theirs as an extra side.)

We are repeat customers because the food is delicious. They always cook my steak correctly the first time. I NEVER HAVE TO SEND IT BACK!!! The service is great and they make you feel special for your birthday with discounts. They also have the best Bread Pudding I have ever tasted.

This is a place I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a great steak. The food and service was outstanding. (Examples are their lobster deviled eggs and the prime-aged Ribeye). The highlight is their Cigar Room, which is one of the few remaining in the Dallas area. It was very relaxing and fun experience , especially with a group. I hope to visit here again whenever I am back in the Dallas area.
