The worse company I've ever deal with. Completely scam, never ever think about rent any house with them, you will lose money and they will never get your deposit back.

I'm waiting for over 30 days for my deposit, and when I reached them out they tried to SCAM ME making me pay for items that were already damaged at the house (and I have photos to prove it! Photos that were taken by them!). Such a horrible company! I moved from the apartment because they weren't professional to assist us with ANYTHING!

Don't fall for the marketing or labels, they are the worst and the apartments are not high quality! Don't lose your money, time or patience. If you are moving to Barcelona, look for serious business with serious and professional people.

By the way: they tried to take more than 200 EUR from our deposit before I replied to them. This was after a long list of issues. The deposit wasn't the only issue we had, it was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Beware of the room apartments which are old, drab ...

Beware of the room apartments which are old, drab and things like air conditioning are breaking down. Stayed at Rambla de Catalunya, level 5 unit 3. The master bedroom uses an air conditioner that has a condenser that buzzes extremely loudly every 10 mins. This makes it impossible to sleep. We called twice to their supposedly functioning 24 hour hotline, once on Friday but they didn't get it fixed. It was slightly better on Sat (buzzed every few hours) but Sunday the problem was back again. When we called their hotline, the person brushed us off the line and said it was 11pm on a Sunday night and they can't do anything about it and it is their apartment that is malfunctioning. The customer service is unacceptable. Barcelona is a great city but this hotel is simply the worst we ever stayed, and it marred otherwise an excellent holiday in the city.

Writing this review to caution fellow visitors, stay with them at your own risk.

I had to go to Barcelona three times for several weeks on business and had an apartment from Stay U-nique for this time.
The apartment was clean, equipped with everything I needed, very centrally located and inexpensive.
All inquiries were answered quickly.
Especially during my last stay from January to February 2021, when I came with my wife and little daughter, we were also provided with a baby bed :)
Dad's WiFi is fast and the beds are comfortable.
I will be happy to come back to Stay U-nique again if I need an apartment in Barcelona again.

After two months we are still waiting for us to return the deposit of 200 Eu (The reservation was made in the name of my husband: Francisco Jimenez Roman) excuses for banking problems that should already have been more than solved. Very angry, the truth. It seems that it was not the only case, they should study another way of doing it. Otherwise no complaints either about the place, or the location on the other hand, excellent. But these bail problems leave a bitter aftertaste that they discourage repeating. We are frequent travelers who use this type of accommodation and it is the first time that we have problems of this kind.

A warning for those who might be thinking of renti...

A warning for those who might be thinking of renting with this company: they look "easy-going" and "simple" but are complete amateurs. Worst service that I had to deal with in the last years, and during such a stressful time as covid it was definitely a situation where "less money can cost you a lot".

After more than 30 days of waiting for the deposit (which is a state in the contract and they play fool that they are doing you a favour by paying it on time), I emailed them to receive a bill (?) asking me to pay for things that were already broken at the house. Could you imagine the stress? I was afraid they wouldn't pay us and after 30 days they started to ask us for more money?



Their reply here in the comments area for other clients is just a sample of their completely amateur behaviour and can show how they will treat you too. They will make less of your worrying and try to disqualify you. If you want to do business with them, prepare yourself. I wish no one had to go through what we had with this incompetent agency.

Hope they improve with feedback and don't denying it in order to "save" a business that is doomed -- trust me, people talk, just do some training and stop being so greedy.

They are extremely honest, genuinely try to help you, fix any maintenance issues within 24 hours, have beautiful apartments in nice areas, and I was very happy with their service. I would rent from them again because of my experience. Sebastian was my contact. He was very easy to contact and very quick to respond. Good company.

We have been renting a flat with Stay U-nique with my partner and we where both impressed by the level and quality of service they provided us. It is a 5 stars service at an agency level.

They Provided everything we needed for a rental and even more with (help with transfer from the airport to the flat, activities...).

any questions or query was answer in a matter of minutes!

Beware of this company trying to scam by attributing "flaws" without justification.
We rented an apartment during the months of December and January and at the time of returning the deposit they gave us some photos of a wall with some spots that claimed that we had done it, because of these damages they wanted to deduct 100 euros from the deposit.
They refused to speak on the phone to clarify the matter, although they boast of personal treatment.
After several e-mails where we asked them for proof to justify our responsibility for the "damage" and without giving us more proof, they tried to charge us 40 euros.
This change in costs clearly demonstrates an attempt to attribute unwarranted expenses to customers without any basis, obviously we refused to pay it and they had to agree not to charge us anything, but the experience has been very unsatisfactory.
