Ultimately a real cool experience, allows you to cuddle, drink, smoke, eat etc in the privacy of your own car. Really cool that the sound comes through the radio. Screen was pretty dark unfortunately, and please beware of how the parking is set up, there are big humps that your car will get stuck and damaged on. Leave car running with lights off to preserve your battery

I had forgotten about Starlight Drive-In until this past Saturday night. Starlight offers 5 large screens to view movies. The movies times varies: 7:30PM, 8:30PM, 10:30PM and 1:45AM. Yes, there are movies starting at 1:45AM. The cost of a ticket per adult is $9 and $1 for children. There are short waiting times. Restrooms are near the food station. Why 4 stars? The screen- at least where I watched movie- had signs of wear and tear. Or, there were visible scratches across the screen, which could be seen throughout movie. When warm weather is possible, a drive-in movie is enjoyable.

You cannot beat this place!! Such a relaxed atmosphere. Some nights is a double feature which is really nice! Restrooms are centrally located along with concessions. Feel free to bring your dinner along!

Great experience at an affordable price. My family goes to the drive-in in every state we go to. This one, like the others, is out the way and is a swap-mart on the weekend. The parking is a bit smaller than others I've been to but it's still a great experience. The only issue was leaving. Like GA traffic it was hard to get out. There was only one lane so you need to have patience. Other than that take your own snacks, some bug repellent, and enjoy a few good movies with family snd/or friends.

Went to the flea market last weekend and scored some great deals on diapers and trash bags. One thing I noticed is that shoes are all overpriced for some reason. Worth the trip though if you have children.

Been going to this place since I was a little girl! and it's great to see it still around but the big screens can be improved so the movie can show without guest shining their head lights on the screens

It's a great historic spot that has been kept up really well. Love watching movies here especially when the weather is nice. The ideal way is certainly by sitting in the back of a truck.

You guys should really crack down on people with their lights, having their loud engines running through your movies because it s ridiculous. I love outdoor movies but I may stop coming just because other people do not respect that other pay money to see a movie peacefully without distractions.

I attend on a regular with my girls and I have been going here since I was a child myself. It s a budget friendly place to take your kids for a movie night out. My only wish is they make a section strictly for smokers, I hate going and being forced to sit in the car with the windows rolled up because the marijuana smell is extremely loud and smoke blowing in your car

Watch movies from your car, not disturbed by others, you can bring food. In the warm months you can sit outside the car and watch movies as well. Bathrooms aren't the cleanest and usually long lines during breaks. It's really a great place tho.

Used to go here all the time before our van broke down. Movies are great. I like being able to control the volume of the movie. Lol. But gotta get there early if the movie is new. If not, you won't get a good spot. And the flea market on weekends gets pretty packed at times, too. Great experience every time. Hope to go back soon.

It was pretty good. Just make sure you stay social distanced, and some ppl might be smoking out their cars. So, if you don't like that I suggest you don't go. But if you find a good spot to park and turn your radio up enough, it's a good experience.

Still the same after many years, needs modern upgrades, not worth $9.00 a head. Spent $18.00 .. 3-4 lanes with at least 3-4 workers per lane, no minorities hmm just a thought .. it is Moreland Ave.

I hope the Starlight 6 Drive in Management actuall...

I hope the Starlight 6 Drive in Management actually sees this post. I moved to ATL in 2010. MY FAVORITE THING I found down here was the drive in. shortly after moving down I had 2 boys, one of which is AUTISTIC and can have random outbursts so the drive in is perfect because you dont have to worry about bothering people with things like kids being kids. In the past few years, when the owners or management switched over, I noticed a lot of changes, most of which arent great for business. We used to enjoy the military discount, as my husband is a Vet, but they no longer offer that. Thats Fine, we said, since we can still see two movies for the price of one. Then the prices went up. And then they closed down the other side (Screens 4-6) so now, the same amount of people on a friday night, are fighting for spots between 3 screens. The screens, especially screen 1, (we go to the drive in QUITE OFTEN) needs repainting. There are rust streaks running down the screen and can seriously mess with the overall picture, and screen one seems out of focus. The movie options are VERY LIMITED which doesnt make sense, since they have 3 other screens and now movies that should be, in my opinion, being played longer (more weekends in a row) but arent. Like right now, NO KIDS MOVIES BEING PLAYED, but storks JUST CAME OUT..... youre playing scary or R rated movies on the one side, got a WHOLE other side closed down and could be putting kids movies over there. If you dont want to open the 2nd concession, then Dont, just make the bathrooms available and keep the concessions closed. Movies that are cinema hits, are getting shown for short periods of time, when you switch the movies over, put the older ones over there. SOMETHING. This was a long over due complaint that I am just now getting to, so SORRY its so long. Im making complaints, BUT SUGGESTIONS TOO. Military discount.... sounds stupid..... but when we use to go with our friends, there would be us and other cars with Military guys in them....who doesnt feel safer knowing you have military personnel near by. Doesnt even have to be the original $1. Maybe half price, or a few bucks less, maybe just every other weekend, week nights only SOMETHING. This is marketing 101. You have screens, utilize them. You are located near military bases, in the SOUTH SIDE OF ATL ON MORELAND AVE..... No military dicount..... thats like QUICK TRIP offering free coffee all day for cops, because they welcome their presence. (maybe not these days, but back when they made us feel safe) You raise the prices and then cut the number of movies available... Please repaint. please open up the other screens. please offer something to those whole serve/served this country. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
