Went here on a Saturday for the flea market....most people are selling junk.....old clothes and shoes. There are a lot of new tools, appliances, diapers, and electronic accessories, too. I guess it depends on what you want....they may have something for you.

Drove over an hour....never been to a drive in theater and wanted to experience it. Assumed since I was in my own car in December (no plans to get out of the car), I could take my small (Frenchie) dog. Was denied access to the theater and wasted a 2 hour round trip for nothing. Absolutely insane to not allow a person at a drive in theater to keep their pet INSIDE their own vehicle. If it was an open area, sure. A building where I d be going inside, sure. But my own car?! Ridiculous.

There is no order or operating procedures in this place. People drive around with their headlights off during the movie, kids are running around in the dark at a rated R movie...smh. There was almost 3 accidents just in our view alone. People were still coming in with their lights on interrupting the show. They need to establish some type of rules and regulations in this place, I am surprised that there hadn't been any serious issues here. It can be a very cool spot to enjoy some family time but safety for everyone is a huge concern.

A perfectly self-made environment pointed toward whichever of 3 canvas' to enjoy their projection. The mainly daft selection of films matches the clientele, unfortunately but always worth the trip.

I have loved this place since I was a little kid. There are not many drive-in theaters left in the world, so this is a great place to experience that. Bring plenty of food and drinks with you & it becomes much more economical than a regular movie theater. I prefer to go on cooler nights, so less people are outside their vehicles, as a bunch of tailgaters talking nearby can be rather annoying. The double-feature bit is nice, but it s rarely another movie I care to see.

Great throwback to a past time. Each show is a double shot with two movies back-to-back for the price of one. Save a few bucks and fill up the car with snacks and drinks from Kroger before going. Only issue in my experience is each time I have gone the sound system works via radio frequency and always has white noise no matter where I turn to. Still, worth the experience.

We really enjoyed our first visit to the Starlight. We were there for the Metallica and Three Days Grace prerecorded concert. The bathroom was clean and the boys enjoyed their visit to the snack bar. The only drawback I saw was they are not enforcing their own rule of cars 10 feet apart...we did ask the folks that pulled up beside us to move and they did.

I love the drive-in theater its so majestic. I love the snacks at the snacks stand especially the nachos... the only thing I don't like is the fact that people come out there and they act like they don't know how to operate their vehicles. And when I say don't know how to operate them I mean they simply do not know how to turn off their headlightsI feel like you don't know how to work your vehicle you don't need to go to the drive-in because you mess up everyone's experience!

This place is amazing. $9 for two movies, per adult and $1 for each kid. They have 6 screens and you can find the showing schedule online. They allow you to bring food and drinks which can make the experience an even better bargain.

About the process: You pull up to any one of the entry lanes and an attendant assists you with ticket purchases. Then you follow the signs to the screen you've paid to watch. Your ticket and the screen have the radio station that you'll need to tune-in to listen to the movies. They say that you need a strong car battery and should turn your car back on to re-charge during intermission, but most everyone at this show had their car running with their lights turned off. It did rain a little bit during my visit but it really didn't make much of a difference with the wipers on.

About the layout: All the screens are in the same area with their own lots of angled parking spaces. The screens and lots are arranged in a big circle with the screens on the perimeter facing inward. The rows up at the front of the screens are angled so that you don't have to crane your neck to see. And, in the center of all this is a decent size building. This building has restrooms and the snack bar. I didn't go to the snack bar but can say that the restrooms were of decent quality, cleanliness, and stocked with plenty of soap/toilet paper.

Overall, this is not your conventional movie experience so don't expect it to compare. It is, however, a very fun and relaxed environment where movies can easily be enjoyed. There were even a few groups of people that came together in multiple cars and actually tailgated during intermission, a great way to create a more social and enriching experience. Highly recommend this to everyone to at least try once.

The chance to catch a movie under the stars was great and at a great price. It's located off of Moreland Avenue which is not too far outside of the city. The only nuisance occurs when other patrons drive through with there lights on and shine them either on the screen or directly in your car. Turn your lights off people!

Not spectacular but if you want enjoyment may it be as a couple or with family this is the place. You can buy from the concession stand or bring your own food and beverages. Everyone has their own personal space and can be as loud or as quiet, no drama.

I'm from Florida and this was the first time that I've ever been to a drive-in movie theatre. I was with my brother, sister-in-law, & 2 nephews. It was fantastic! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Someone had made a comment to us before we went that this place may be dangerous because of the part of town that it was in. My family and I are not racist at all so we took no stock in that garbage nonsense and still went. We had absolutely NO issues whatsoever. I would go back there in a heartbeat, and in fact I will do just that the next time I visit Atlanta. I loved this place!

It's a little shady. I don't know that it would be family friendly on the weekends from what I've heard. It's very old, not well maintained but the projectors are good. Can't complain too much when you can see a relatively cheap movie or 2 if you can stay up late enough. The wife was a little concerned when someone unloaded a magazine across Moreland. They should put a little thought imto their screens as well. The Lego batman movie shouldn't be played on the screen next to 50 shades of grey even though I was peeking :)

My late uncle Robert and I went to that drive-in about 20 years ago and I m going to ask is the Starlight Drive-In Movie Theatre still open and in operation today? That was the last time I ve ever enjoy those days (er, nights) going to that venue under the stars to have those memories to cherish, I hope that somebody in Okaloosa County would build at least a twin drive-in movie theater real soon so I can rekindle those glorious nights that I miss since coming from Atlanta to Ft. Walton Beach in February of 2000.

I enjoy this theater. It allows for a fun date night where you can go see a good movie and still maintain privacy and the comfort of your own vehicle. I will say I'm not a fan of them showing the same movie 3 times back to back on a single screen. Usually you're able to get a double feature, but when it's a new movie they just play that on repeat.
