I've being going to this drive in since 2002. back then the tickers were $6 a person for 2 movies. Nowadays they are charging $9 a person but that's still a great price for 2 new, in theater, movies. Around 2011 there were reports of violence and a bad crowd but I've never, ever, had a bad experience there. Once someone approached my car but that was because they couldn't find the station (which is printed very clearly under every screen.) other than that, nothing. I will say this, the concession stand is not at all what it used to be. They used to have an array of items like pickles and all kinds of candy and the like. Now you get nachos, your choice of about 7 candies, and popcorn with soft drinks and that's it. I found that horrifying that the price would go up so drastically and the venue itself received NO upgrades at all.... not one. Back in the day there were 2 sides of starlight with 3 screens on either side. The right side, screens 4,5,and 6, haven't been open in at least 5 years(until dispecable me 3 came out.) I love the place and will continue to go though. Can't beat $9 with a stick... that being said I take my own food, beverages, and the like because the concession stand has nothing to offer anymore.

I love this spot. The drive in is a must to have on your weekend agenda. Screens are huge and there are many great viewing spots. Get there early to get a good spot. My only critique would be they need to have people at each screen making sure people cut off their lights.

Love going with a group to see a double feature at the starlight. Know what you're getting though: if you want that perfect, quiet, vivid, immersive movie experience, don't see a movie at the drive-in. The people around you will talk or leave their lights on or drive by. But you can't beat the drive-in experience here (right down to the filthy 70s-style bathrooms). Plus, two first-run films fir $9. Greet place to bring kids--but keep them under control!

Starlight is an iconic Atlanta place, very valuable to our community especially when movie theaters are not open due to this pandemic. However, despite their claims on their website that they are following procedures to protect the public and their employees from covid-19, this is not what I observed tonight. None of the employees selling tickets were wearing masks. None of the rules were enforced regarding cars needing to be 10 feet apart or people needing to stay inside their vehicle to watch the movie. There was a sign with very small print on the restroom door that no more than five people could be in the restroom and right after I entered while it was empty, 5 people followed me and there were no employees to educate or enforce this rule. In other words, 5 people without masks came into the restroom right behind me. The only way for us to have been six feet apart was if they were only two of us in the restroom, so it seems like there shouldn't be more than two or three people allowed for proper social distancing. I very much appreciate this theater and being able to do something over the summer where I feel safe and socially distance from other people, but I implore starlight to start backing up its own policies!

I also feel like there should be a lower price for children who are above 9. The $1 to $10 jump was steep and we brought four teens. $5 maybe? Even 8?

Definitely worth the visit. This might become our summertime date spot. Family friendly, easy to watch with others, and decent price. We went with two other friends and sat outside, listening to the sound from other people's cars. Lots of folks brought folding chairs and sat outside their cars. The only downside was that the sound was a little bit soft unless you were actually sitting in your car.

Just make sure to arrive 20 minutes early to buy your ticket and find your spot.

1950ish feel. How ever the Drive-In can be aesthetically updated, this one should be. Maybe newly paved road, a well lit exit and definitely a bigger and way better food court. The movie quality and price of 2 movies are very economical and refreshing

Great experience! Easy navigation. Friendly staff. Great location! Concession ok but limited. The only downer is there is no staff guiding cars and cars are driving parking and reparking all during the movie. But overall this was a great drive-in experience!

All tat money they making, they need to update the theater. Everything need to be updated including the restroom, screens, outside look and the foods stand. I love this place but without any update the place is a mess.

I really like coming to the drive in but I will warn the food here is disgusting as well as the bathrooms. The roads that lead to the movie screens are extremely rough on your car, be careful driving here.
