Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa Review

A nice Marriott. It's a little outdated but I think it's good value for the money

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as a business traveller and would recommend it. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the room was good, if a little dated and in need of a refresh. The shower in the room was a highlight with great water pressure The breakfast buffet was solid.

Such a scamming hotel. Went to a info session of a franchise restaurent. The franchise company offered for a $10 discount for parking for the attendees. The rate is $4.50 per hour, 2 hours for $9, 3 hours for $13.50. We parked from 7pm to 9:05 pm. And they said we still have to pay $10. Whats wrong with the math here?

The Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa was very nice, clean, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Conference facilities are average. Good wifi coverage is a plus.

Pros: great shower/bathroom, amazingly friendly staff, TV channels are in HD, the function area and bar looked great, downtown location with a lot nearby.

Cons: wifi is what you get in other Marriott hotels (slower than my phone's 4G), on-site parking is in a garage and not included in the cost of the room.

Room quality is excellent, especially for the price. Very comfortable accommodations.

Great hotel in a wonderful location next to Stamford mall and restaurant everyone will love. The pool is a bit small and the rooms needs to be updated. Other than those 2 things solid place and the check in was easy along with a friend receptionist.

Took at trip to Stamford for our anniversary and spent the night at the Marriott Hotel & Spa. We arrived early and stopped to just get some insight into the area and the staff was great even allowing us to check in 5 hours early. During the check in we were given complimentary parking in the garage and vouchers for breakfast on Saturday & Sunday. The room was wonderful the only issue was the lumpy bed but I ve had worse. The hotel was lively and the staff was awesome....overall a good stay and would definitely return when in Stamford area.

This hotel was extremely clean, quiet and the staff were exceptional. I enjoyed my stay immensely. The room was awesome and the bed was beyond comfortable. It has a mini fridge and there are microwaves in the lobby. I had a nice view of the pool, buildings, highway and train. Parking is $25. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Dated but has everything a hotel of this rating should have.

A great hotel clean large rooms and I got a special when I stay there so the price was very reasonable priced it is centrally located cross the street from the Mall the, capital Grille Macy s , cheesecake factory what more could you ask for and the hotel staff was wonderful

Stayed for a wedding, great location, walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was professional and pleasant.

It would have been more but the furniture is old and the TVs are restricted....

Older Marriott hotel that could use a facelift but is otherwise fairly standard. Very pleasant staff makes every stay great and the hotel is in good proximity to downtown.

Enjoyed the contactless check-in and digital key available through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Room was cleaned well, too.

We I arrived in my room I assumed the brown spots on my bed were just stains then I walked into the bathroom to set up my toiletries to find the same brown stuff in the sink. I m a African and Hispanic woman with semi coarse hair, but I find Caucasian/Asian hair on the toilet seat needless to say my what was supposed to be a relaxing night is now full of disgust and anger. This was supposed to be a relaxing night for me after not sleeping for almost 36 hours. The manager wants to give me points are you kidding me how does that make me feel whole.

Rooms are well kept, staff is friendly. Spa is highly priced, so no review.

The location is convenient and safe, lots of restaurants and shopping. Rooms are big and nice and very clean.

Was there for a show so I didn't really get to use their services, but is a nice looking calm hotel.

This is an older hotel many areas are very tired,needs some work on updating and improvements.

boring menu in the restaurant Northern Lights restaurant...menu has been stagnant for years

$23.49 a day to park was a surprise. Expensive stay.
However, after a long day of training, I arrived back at my room at 3:10, and it still wasn't clean? So I had to put the do not disturb out, so I could take a shower and a nap before going back out to teach at night. Dissapointing. Room was nice, people were nice. I went to the concierge lounge to grab a water, to discover a gross plunger in the middle of the floor, and dishes on the floor....on the 15th floor level! Returned about 20 minutes later, still there (see pic). Disgusting. Concierge lounge was good, and the ladies working it were polite and attentive. For the cost of the stay, not a good place.

This hotel is extremely nice and all the staff are very professional. I can't say much for the rooms as I only attended a single event there, but everything was clean, tidy, and spacious. It left a very good impression on me.

I was there with a friend for medical reasons and the staff at Stamford Marriott were just amazing. From the gift shop to the shuttle drivers, concierge and front desk, everyone was so kind and helpful the entire stay. They may never know how comforting they were in a stressful time!

I know we re winding down from COVID, so basic things like cups in the room, water bottles and pens were not available. Only half the hotel was open. No restaurants on site open. No one to help with luggage. The rooms need a serious overhaul. The sliding glass closet wouldn t open as it was off it tracks. Paint peeling. Sheets very wrinkled. Stains on carpet. I will say the staff were very nice and tried to be accommodating.

Service was excellent. Very close to everything in downtown Stamford.

The good thing about the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa is that it is located quite close to the train station as well as near a fairly large shopping center. The hotel offers a spacious park, very professional customer service and some important amenities (eg gym, shop, restaurant). One of the reasons for the rating of only 4 stars is because the restaurant is quite basic, with low utilization. For this reason, customer service is inferior. Usually there is no one to attend on arrival (wait) and the prices are high. It would be better to find a restaurant outside. Bechego

I was here for a Salsa festival and the entire staff was helpful and attentive. The location itself was also clean and well maintained, and the security staff made sure everything ran smoothly.

Very old and dirty. Our first room the hear was stuck on so they has to move us at 2am. Our new room had the volume stuck at max on the tv. Staff was extremely friendly and tried to accommodate all the mishaps. Definetly should not be priced as is

A real dump. Duct tape on the dirty hall carpets, cheap old fixtures, saggy bed. On par with days inn or worse. I do like the shower and the front desk staff is very nice, but this hotel is the worst maintained I've been to in years.

The service was great, and its located really close to a bunch of local eateries.
