Beautiful park with old architecture. Perfect if you seek to get away from the crowded vondelpark

It's a really great park. Been going there for 8+ years.

I had lived near this park and have been to many parks in Netherlands for the last 3 years. I would say that this is the best park in Netherlands. so cozy and peaceful :)! when its sunny, grab some beer with snacks and seat somewhere in the park. You will miss the moments a lot in the future!

Park with good ice cream shop, cafe, beer on tap, baby area, small barn... Sometimes closed for exhibition or big event.

Very nice park. Everybody can find something to do there.

Great place for parties, but it's not cleaned beforehand and the floor is sticky and everything has a funky lingering smell. Unpleasant funky.

One of the less touristy parks of Amsterdam located on the West side of the city. You can rent a boat or enjoy good coffee in the various Cafe's located in the park itself. If you enjoy sports like running, Slackline, tennis etc. this is the park to be.

Quiet park usually, great place to chill, but even more amazing when there are festivals/events at westergasfabriek

Big and cool park with bar, restaurant and more. You can do BBQ in the big area.
There is a dog walking street so you can leave them without leash .

Very cool and big park with loads of hotspots for dinner or just drinks and of course the occasional events and concerts.

Good place to jog, run, cycle, or just to relax. There's a swimming pool for families with children, which gather around during summer. It is not as big a park as Vondelpark, but for locals and tourists alike, it is a fun place for all kinds of activities.

Great place to go for a visit & walk ... Have coffee or a meal in the restaurants that are in the park

Good place to chill and drink. Gone skating there because of the good asphalt. The park has even BBQs which are placed there by the mayor.

One of the best parks in Amsterdam. Plenty of space to walk, run or have a picnic. Designated areas for dogs. Bunch of pleasant cafes and bars.

Great little park at the upper west side of Amsterdam. Not too big, but very nice to walk through, do your sports or just hang out in. Less crowded than Vondelpark as well.

The Westerpark is one of the best parks of the city: it houses many activities ranging from outside parties to food festivals. It's prefect for a picnic by the lake or a bike ride to the Sloterdijk train station.

One of my favorite parks. Beautiful cherry blossoms for two weeks in the spring.

My favorite park inside Amsterdam. There's a separate path for walking and running so you don't need to be always on high alert of the bikes. And it's also very dog friendly, they are allowed to run around and play without being on leash.

A very green and peaceful place to relax and get a break from the city. There is a small lake on one side of the park. I also saw grills for barbeque (I don t know if there were free to use, or you have to pay).

People were siting on the grass, reading books, playing volleyball.

Lovely park, really nice wild areas and other areas that are well maintained. Worth a visit.

Lovely park for a stroll and full of cafes, bars and restaurants in the middle. And don t miss the market which is on the first Sunday of the month (make sure to look it up in case it s seasonal) with world food, cloths, jewellery and vintage gear.

Beautiful oasis of calm yet close to the variety of Westergasfabriek. Lots of options to relax and have fun.

One of my favorite parks in Adam, chill and relaxing, but also full of sport equip and space to exercise!
During summer is theater of many events, rollende keukens (food truck festival) above all :)

Lovely park, huge space. Went for the vegan festival which was DELICIOUS. Canals nearby (of course) and not too far a walk from central station and other amenities.

Very nice, landscaped and well designed city garden, with public grill setups, plenty of grassy space to stretch out (hardly any dog poop on the grass, as the pooches have a dedicated poop alley along the railway). Good visit.

Visited in the middle of winter so wasn't very green. Was definitely a great place to start the day, watching the swans and ducks play in the pools.

Perfect place to go and enjoy your time. The small pond has lots of birds, it's really cool to see.!

Quiet and clean park with biking lanes and enough social companies around to serve the public.

Beautiful parks with very cool attributes. Even a small water fall tucked away in the bushes. Very fun play park as well!

Great for walking dogs, exercising, sitting in the sun or spending a picnic with friends or family. Gets busy in the summer, but not as packed as Vondel Park.

Interesting sculptures, perfect inner city park for a run- just watch for the many bikes! Could be a little bit cleaner along pathways (frequented by dog walkers)

Beautiful park. Has some restaurants to eat. Perfect for cycling. Has dedicated BBQ area, kids area and Gym area. Perfect place to relax and have picnic in summer.

Nice park just on the outer west side of Amsterdam. Used to be a gas works and as such has lots of old interesting buildings that have now been reappropriated to music venues, cafes, bars and restaurants etc

Like this park. Is nice place for living time with friends. About 7 diskothek. You now place for meet young.

Stayed at the Conscious Hotel, really smashing venue. But a little pricey, check before booking.

Great park with local business, a brewery, chocolate factory and more. Don't miss out on their Sunday market, every first Sunday of the month.

Tiny bit too far Amsterdam centre but the location is lovely esp for summer time and the hotel us very modern clean and spacious

One of the best parks in Amsterdam. It's gigantic, with a lot of space to chill and BBQ! Also all the bars and restaurants in the park are amazing. Much better and less touristic than Vondelpark.

A definite must go if you wanna escape from all the chaos in the inner city.

Very nice park. Has water, greenery, walking and biking areas.

Great running route, about 5km circuit round, all on running path. You might need some lights if you're running after Sun down as some areas do not have sufficient lighting.

Milkshakefestival 2017 a place were you can be yourself. Come as you like, every style is welcome, even naked. We were with a group of ten people totally naked.

Every first Sunday of the month there is a market on the terrain of the Wester Gasfabriek. where they sell mainly home made products and delicious food. On the terrain is also the Troost Brewery where they sell a variety of excellent beers.
