It's an ok park (can't compare to Vondelpark). Pro is that there's a lot of bars and restaurants

Nice location for an early Sunday morning walk and a coffee. Still quiet, and my baby loves to watch the ducks and birds.

Great place to hang out, especially when it's nice weather. There are also a lot of nice bars in the area to go in the area to have a drink during the day/in the evening.

Nothing not to live about this park, the big grass BBQ area , football court, tennis courts, the cafes or the shops in there, all are amazingly organized and opened.
One thing that I just discovered lately is that every Sunday they make a really nice flea market in there, love it. They sell all kind of stuff, plus amazing food options with it.
You should really check that out.

It a good park to do anything with sport.it is called westerpark, but is for everybody, youth,old and advance in age.visit it today and share your story.

One of the largest parks in Amsterdam. A place for everyone: family and kids by the water, 300 m away more quiet spot for a sunbath also by the water, further away bars and restaurants, an educational farm, bee houses, public sport equipment, plenty of picnic spots... Choose your place according to your mood and the numerous events that take place there!

I don't like this park. It is too noisy and very dirty. You are allowed to barbecue there, but that is the only positive point of this place.

the park itself, the cultural events such as the movie theater and the bars/restaurants are great options to spend your day off or your weekend

A well named park named after the west part of Amsterdam, a cool relaxing environment for kids and pets and you've got some rabbits and red foxs around. nice place to be, give a try you won't regret it.

Not as famous as Vondel but a great park as well. Right by the Westergasfabriek.

A very relaxing and interesting park along the river in Amsterdam. There are multiple restaurants in different activities throughout the park. It's a little outside of the normal tourist flow which is also nice. If you make the detour you won't regret it.

If you're looking for a place to run in the city try Westerpark. Has approximately a flat 6km loop with a graveled surface. Safe running spot and in the summer I imagine it'll look even nice!

Love the Cherry Blossoms and playground for kids. It s a good place to chill and dine in Troops bar. Enjoy it during spring and summer to get the best view and ambiance.

I passed through this park every morning on my walk from the hotel to the center of Amsterdam. It's a really pretty park with cycle and walking paths, along with some interesting sculptures. There is a hotel, cafe and a few bars and restaurants located inside the park as well. I especially liked the old gas cylinders which have been made into buildings.

Lovely place, good food and service. Just a little to small (to little games) and to many games that are not explained in English. Besides, coming back! For sure.

I love this park. Maybe it is not the best one in Amsterdam, but it is full of life, lot of events happen here. I love being close to this park.

Probably my favourite park in Amsterdam because its just that little bit quieter than the others, and far less touristy.

Huge park, where you can go for a walk, or exercise. Some food places open for take away, during lockdown.

A long thin park, with paths and some very wild areas. Good for dog walking, and good for people walking if you keep a lookout for poop. Joins on to the Westergasfabriek so there's loads of opportunity for food and drink.

It's a great local park friendly and fantastic in any season always enjoy watching the bee hives

Went to the Annual Wine Festival here and it was great. Great wine and food (at the festival) plus a huge park to walk or ride bikes in.

Market every first Sunday of the month. Lots of events happening during Summer period. Also has few nice brunch places, little cinema and a jazz club.

One of my favorite parks in Amsterdam! It has picnic areas and often there are food festivals going on! If lucky in a non cloudy night sky you can lie on the grass and watch the stars!

Nice city farm. Disappointing play structures, particularly when compared to others in the city.

It's a nice park with some restaurants and cafes and stores all along the canal besides the park. We went on a pretty chilly and windy December day so it wasn't the best choice but it must be great in the spring and summer

Nice, green and local park in amsterdam west, with many restaurants and bars. Also perfect to picnic or taking a walk. Always something new to find or see in westerpark amsterdam! For example, there are two locations where you can bbq for free if you just bring your own suplies to bbq and clean it afterwards. There isbalso ijscuipje, where you can get the best ice-cream of amsterdam. Because of that and many other reasons, westerpark is my favourite park of amsterdam. I realy recommend to visit the park if you come to amsterdam.
