It's an amazing place to spend a sunny afternoon. There are lots of trees and places to lay in the sun. There is also an area with cafes and places to grab a bite.

Very pretty. Lots of places to eat and drink and chill.

One of the biggest parks in Amsterdam which is popular with families and people that live close by. I suggest it for runners or also just to relax a little in the green. There is even a special place where one can BBQ! Moreover, there also some great coffee, food places and festivals in Westergasfabriek.

Hipster AF. Lots of restaurants, good for drinking or a burger, but don't go for a nice dinner because the quality for the prices is awful. Besides that, there are wonderful areas to lounge in the greenery, pick up a cone of ice cream, or people-watch. There is an interesting mix of wealthy and poor, well-dressed, and cracked-out people here. Overall enjoyable.

Forget the Vondelpark, the Westerpark is less crowded and have loads of cool places to eat and drink, as well as a lot of greenery and recycled old industrial buildings.

One of the less busy parks. In the summer you can screech out on the lawn or bbq. There are also great little restaurants in the park itself.

Huge park, great for biking, exercising. Many cafe on site as well.

Even in a cold January Sunday you can enjoy the beauty of this amazing park.

The park is nice on normal days, and they host lots of events here that draw huge crowds. I love crowds so I love when that happens. They have a variety of events with food and music. Really fun.

The most underrated park of Amsterdam. Such a gem with lots of space for games and chill. Every now and then there are also events going on, mostly summer and spring.

Beautiful, well maintained park with lots of different areas. There's wetland reed areas, duck ponds and wildlife sites plus clipped grass for lounging on , wester gas fabriek for a lunch or drink date and lots of bike paths and bridges to explore. The park stretches towards haarlemeerplein with bbq areas, lots of work out spots and ping pong tables. I love westerpark!

Amazing park, great for sports, hanging with friends and family

I love this park. It is not popular like Vondelpark but I think it's actually much better because of space, organization and availability of nice places for eating, drinking and spending time with friends. I recommend the Sunday Market, that is arranged there every first Sunday of the month.

A large park with lots of modern amenities like cafes and bars around and in it. Not the most beautiful park in the city but great for picnic in a large group.

Beautiful park. Lots of green space to lay out, as well as a lot of nature preserves with plenty of wildlife (saw a heron there). Great for jogging - there are some exercise points around as well. In one corner there is an old factory that has been converted into a bunch of restaurants, cafes, and studios so getting a drink or a bite to eat is super easy too.

The weather is perfect. And the people are very friendly.

Attended here for Awakanings gashouder 30.01.19 and it was absolutely spectacular. The djs onboard to the staff were fantastic

The Best Park of Amsterdam, where you can chill, hear good Music, AND where the Lovely vibe is. It feels like home. With Bus 21 en 22 from central station, or Tram 10.

The World is Wonderfull, Together for Humanity

A lovely park in a lovely part of Amsterdam. Westergasfabriek definitely worth checking out too.

My favourite place to relax during summer in Amsterdam. This park has such a good vibe and is suitable for everybody (families, couples, singles, pets and excellent for chilling, reading, playing and just being). I love this place, probably my favourite park for feel good mood.

Westerpark is a very nice natural place to go walking or running and also you can just rest anywhere in the park. A very nice park!

Pleasant park nowhere near as busy as vondel park and much better facilities.

A great park to the west of Amsterdam. It's tranquility and rest is threatened by an increasing number of"events". It's important to maintain its character without too many festivals and concerts.

Beautiful huge place with lots of spaces to make a picnic or simply relax in the green. Nice mood and less touristy than Vondelpark.

Went to two different restaurants in Westerpark and both were good. Unfortunately Ajax lost which affected the atmosphere somewhat.

Beautiful and large park that isn't too crowded. You can definitely spend a few hours walking around the nature trails,there is even a garden that you can walk around.

Excellent, large park. Many places to enjoy for picnic/walks/jogs and a calisthenics ground to work out. Also has a few restaurants/cafes.
