Nice park with several restaurants, a cinema and some shops. In the summer they so host festivals.

Lovely place to bike - even in winter - and has its own "i amsterdam" sign hidden on the southern bank.

One of my favorite parks in Amsterdam. It has a dog zone. Some awesome cafes like de bakkerswinkle and it s also home to Milkshake festival at the end of July.

Interesting place to take a walk. Some lunch places, unique businesses and great grounds for markets, events and festivals

Lovely walking park on a crisp cold day. Christmas Market, gluhwein, all lovely.

This park is filled with events, there's always something happening. I miss some of the nature and greenery of a real nice park, but for activities this is where to go.

Our local 'back yard'. Often local fairs, like Sunday Market, or bigger gigs enrich the space.

On normal days, my preferred time, you have some pretty neat places to sit, grab a bite, or enjoy a movie.

Visitors are not always respectful and leave a great deal of trash behind. But the park admin has done some work to keep it clean and educate people.

A really lovely and peaceful park to explore, some beautiful fountains and lots of funny little ducks to keep you entertained

This park is a true beauty. There is enough open space to play whatever sport you desire as well as enjoying some time in the coffes & bars in the vicinity.

Westerpark is a wonderful escape from the urban life to nature. Inside the park one can also find a charming square with pubs.

Such a big terrain with green grass. An ideal place to hang out for picnic or just chilling out and enjoy the sun light. There's a sunday market just around the park, selling many kind of things and food too.

This is the best city park in Amsterdam . It has the most interesting and diverse bars en restaurants of all the parks in Amsterdam. The events here are also diverse and very much focused on local talent, produce and culture. I really believe Westerpark speaks volumes about Amsterdam.

This park is beautiful. Several activities can be done here, such as sports, kids to play, restaurants and bars for a wonderful evening.

Great park in the cities west end. Ran through it in the morning and was in the company of other runners, people walking their dogs, and others enjoying the park.

We visited the Westergasterras here. Very nice place. Parking is nearby, the look of nature is very pleasant and the food and service great.

Park has restaurants, cycle track, place to soak your legs, grass to sit and relax and lots of place to barbeque.
Pretty close to central and from Sloterdijk station and one of the most scenic places to do some bird watching as well.

Maybe the happening people, the hipsters have begun taking over the bars, restaurants and shops but gentrification isn't always a bad thing. Beautiful park, great place to be. Especially in summer.

Huge park, lots of places to eat, drink and relax. One of the best beer crafts is located here. Ideal also for families with kids/babies.

Nice amd clean park with pave and gravel paths for cyclist,runners and walkers and dogs alike. Sculptures around the park are added bonus to the atmosphere.

Great place to spend all your day. You can find everything you want here. From place to play football or badminton with friends to lay on blanket or to eat a good dinner. There is a lot of place to rest, play, run or biking. Area is preety quite and it's close to center with bus connection.

Cute little park in the westside of Amsterdam. Buildings from old factories have been renewed and repurposed for stores, cinema, theatre, a hotel and a number of restaurants. Amsterdam is beautiful, but its green areas are rather small and apart, so treasures like this park are a wonderful treat. Great for a drink or some family time.

Cool place. Serene beauty of nature.. Calm and green everywhere. Have lot of space to camp and enjoy ur holiday. Lot of tree shades and water. Has a pool where kids had adults can cool themselves in scorching weather. The pathways are well maintained.. Have a beautiful garden and flowers throughout the pathways. Well maintained toilets. Big area of park to conduct festivals... The milkshake parties are conducted here

Another really great park. Like Vondelpark, it too does a good job of being a park. Like it's humble little brother Sapharti park, doggos are welcome here.

Nice and peaceful Atmosphere great for young and old. From my experience people come here to do exercise,walk around and enjoy the weather. In the summer people barbecue out in the park and there is a tennis court and plenty of space to do something ells like football. Great vibe

Lots of festivals and markets are hosted in westerpark, nice cafes and restaurants around the park. Not a lot of tourists, mainly locals. Best to chill at the hill area in the park :)

Beautiful park which is sprawling across a lot of space with a lot of cafe's, bars, yoga studio's. Very well set up.

Great place to strech and play video games. TonTon is a great videogame arcade where you can play streetfight for free for as long as you like.

It's a fine hostel! Everything you need in one room, and it's perfect! Nice design :)

Lots of activities with a food truck collection and market every first Sunday of the month. The old gas factory structures that are still up paint a stark contrast to the peaceful nature of the rest of the park.

Best park in Amsterdam. You can bbq here. They have great bars and restaurants here. Really good designated areas for dogs with a pond where they can swim. I could go on......

There are nice restaurants and places just to get beers and snacks, one of my favorite places is tonton which is a Japanese arcade with nice drinks and street style food, it's also good for running and there are also few outdoor gym equipment and body weight training

The perfect summer park for a bbq. They have pre set up bbqs in the summer, so you just need to bring the coals. Throughout the year, they have many events, so keep an eye open. There s a great closed off dog section too.
