The exclusive membership at JCC solely offers full use of the facility and unfortunately does not yet offer a much needed Pool Pass for those who simply wish to swim or do aquatic exercise. Amy tried to accommodate our family group of three to shoe-horn the application fee plus membership fee into an affordable solution. As JCC does not offer an a la carte menu with tiered pricing for locals, it does not serve nor can not serve the community as a whole. A punch pass for the aquatic center would be an easy, popular and affordable option. Policing, to ensure pool members did not overstep their access, (by using the other fitness rooms), would not become a major issue as feared. Initiating a temporary pool pass program to see what the true concerns might be, might be the way to go, especially in current climes when we need more affordable family options for exercise. Thank you to the powers that be for this consideration and I hope to see a Pool Pass in JCC s future.

Paid a higher non-member fee for our child to join swim practice for the swim team. Later learned that a membership (at a cost of $89 per month for one adult and one child) would be necessary to join the swim team. We are satisfied with our current gym membership and have no need for two. Had we known that non-members are not allowed to join the team, we would have spent the time and money elsewhere. The JCC should be more transparent regarding their policies.

Amazing, wonderful facility, staff and members. My family have been members for years and our six year old twins love the pool, day care, gym, and other activities. My wife and I enjoy the exercise room, saunas, other families, and programming. Highly recommended, and especially to families with children.

This place is good for almost everything! The only thing is the new pool. It is way nicer but also has less lap lanes and is in a smaller space. It also has less places to sit than the old viewing deck.

I joined for the gym that mostly isn't crowded and the abundance of fitness classes that were free but...

The reason for the three star rating was half the staff would ignored me. Just passing them they would look down or away. Or just stare me in the eye and say nothing. That might be okay outside of work but while working you are representing a company.

I suggest you tell the staff to apply the five foot rule. "5ft then greet" every member within five feet of you, even in passing by say hi. Facilities brings customers to your facility but it s the stuff that keeps them there.
