My mum was recommended to St Josephs from her care team. They said it would be good for her to get some respite. I cried when taking my mum but the nurses met us at the door and could see how emotional I was and from that minute gave comfort and reassurance that she was in safe hands. After 5 days my mum was a different person. Back to herself. These people are angels in disguise. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Recommend a hospice to anyone who's family member is terminally ill. The nurses cared for my Nan and were extremely considerate throughout her whole journey till the end of her life. They made sure she was always at ease, and provided a great amount of support to the family during this difficult time. They were very empathetic and made my Nan and the family feel at home, right till the moment she passed away.

Thank you for your great support.

All the staff at St. Joseph's Hospice are fantastic people from cleaners to consultants. I just wanted to say how grateful we all were for the wonderful way my mother was cared for at the end of her life. It eases our pain knowing she was so well looked after in her last hours. The kindness shown, not just to her, but to our whole family was just incredible. We really appreciated the respect and professionalism shown by all the staff. They are among the nicest people we have ever known. We will never forget their exceptional kindness, care, support and dedication.
Thank you and God bless all of their staff.

Words cannot express how truly grateful we are for all the kindness and excellent care my mum recieved in the last days of her life. The 24 hour help line was an absolute godsend in the days running up to her brief stay. Although mum was only at the hospice for 35 hours the memories of the care she, and we, recieved will stay with us for a lifetime. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to every single member of the team on Lourdes Ward and the staff we encountered throughout the hospice. X x

This is truly a wonderful and uplifting place. The staff are amazing. I would like to thank them all for the way they looked after my darling mum over the years with day centres, to respite and then her last days. It was so comforting, they were amazing the way they cared for her, the way they allowed our family to be with her especially at the final moments, which was very very special to us. Thank you St Joseph's you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
