Great view, good food and wonderful service. The gator bites appetizer was awesome and the pasta superb. Definitely recommend and will go back soon!

Bad gumbo. Regretted my decision to order and eat half a cup of gumbo for 2 days. Waitress tried to dissuade me. Should have listened to her. Beautiful setting though.

It was our first time there. We had a group of 10 that made reservations for a birthday dinner out. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. We sat on the patio, so we could enjoy the cool breeze coming off from Lake Monroe. We watched as the steam boat came past And several other boats came through while music play gently on the patio sound system. The food was the nicest surprise of all; I expected bar food with subpar seafood but it was truly high-quality food even down to the mash potatoes and french fries everybody loved everything we ate. It was better than we expected. I had Salmon and it is hit or miss even in Florida to find good restaurants that know how to cook it properly by leaving it slightly rare to make it melt in your mouth tender. Props and I will definitely be back!

Food was good but 6:50 for a well vodka and coke is totally unacceptable, will never drink here again.

Waited to be seated for 10 plus minutes despite being the only people waiting. Passed multiple times by server and host/owner (?) Without a single word being spoken to us. Had to wait for server every step of the way. Food however was excellent

Great service overall. Food was good... could be a little better . Our server Jynette and hostess Amber did great. Enjoy our Bday celebration there. Love the outdoors seating and the breeze.

Went there today for the first time. Due to some road closures was a little more difficult to find. We were greeted immediately. All of the staff were very eager to help. What a view!!! we had a great table next to the glass wall overlooking Lake Monroe and what a view... Now, the service was excellent.. Very attentive and very friendly. Wife had a couple of cocktails a margarita and an Long Island Ice Tea. The drinks were ok the margarita a little on the weak side and the Long Island a little to much sour mix. Now for the food, The food we were a little disappointed. My fish was a bit over cooked. Not moist at all. Good cut and proportions. Wife had Bluefin tuna crusted with sesame seeds. Presentation was good the fish was not as fresh. Vegies were on point, crisp with a bite great. Overall it is a great place to go. We will go again and try something else. Pricing if you have drinks and appetizers plan on spending around 40 dollars per person.

Family dinner get-together. Y'all were so accommodating. Service great, food delicious and hot. There were a bunch of us and everyone was well taken care of. Thanks!

The manaer was very rude. She was yelling at her staff and belittling them. She snatched my credit card out of the staff members hand, after she made a mistake. She proceeded to raise her voice, after I questioned my charges. I politely advised her to not raise her voice. This was the worst dining experience in my life!

The food and service are excellent and enjoying I also got a photoshoot with the chef

Sad to say, not pleased at all. Food was very average, not hot. Steak was undercooked, mac and cheese was cold, forgot my appetizer. Once we told the server he was polite and sent a manager over. She said she would give us a free dessert. Um nah I'm good, after telling her how nothing hit the mark whatsoever and not at least offering a small gesture towards a future visit... We probably won't be back.

We went to eat last night Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. to our delight when we walked in there was a gentleman named Paul Vernon playing music. He was very good and had a vast knowledge of music. We ordered the Fish & Chips also the Key West combo. Our food was not only pretty on the plate but tasted excellent. Our server Sarah B.was very attentive to our needs. This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely be back. We would love to see Paul Vernon back maybe on a Saturday to play music for us again!!

My 1st time and I m disappointed I ordered the St. John s classic with the sweet potato fries. I ordered my food to be grilled which it was however they put the sweet potato fries in the same platter as the food which caused them to be soggy.I will say the food was seasoned well.

Nice place on the lake to sit and enjoy good food. Will most definitely be returning to sample more from the menu.
My second visit confirmed that this place is on my permanent list of "go to" places! Once again the food was great as was the service and atmosphere. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Made reservations for 20 people, arrived 15 early and were seated immediately! Tiffany our server was amazing, we didn t have to ask for a refill because she was on point the entire time! She was so courteous and enthusiastic, we all felt she was the highlight of the restaurant. She handled our table as if it was a table for four. The restaurant had great ambiance, live music for a little while! The views were beautiful, overall we had such a great time. Thank you Tiffany we will be back and ask for you!

Have seen restaurant many times and finally decided to try. Service was very friendy and portions quite large. We had great view of Lake Monroe. Plan to return next time in Sanford.

Perfectly seasoned, and cooked NY strip, awesome house chips, chill atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again! Also points for a great view, easy parking, and nice staff.

After checking the website for days and hours of operation, we drove from Winter Park to Sanford (30+ minutes) anticipating a lovely lunch. Place was locked up tight. It's your prerogative to chose your hours, but this left a very negative impression with us. Doubt we'll make that trip again. Please update your website to prevent others from having the same experience.

Excellent food and prices were affordable. We loved the atmosphere. It was peaceful overlooking St John's River. Will definitely go there again and tell our friends a bout it.

Run down restaurant with a shady owner. The pictures online are about 30 years old and don t reflect the pictures shown on the website. Can see directly into the kitchen when dinning and witnessed a cook touch food with bare hands that fell on the ground and put back on the plate. DURING A PANDEMIC. Absolutely disgusting. Will be calling the health inspector and reporting this.

Right on the water. We sat down and waited 20 minutes till we asked for our waitress though and when an older blond woman came over she told us she had a phone call and then left again because she didn't know the specials so we were a little weary because she didn't come back nor apologize. Then finally we ended up with an amazing waitress ( wish I could remember her name) She was an older African American woman who couldnt have made our day any better. Even when our food took 30 minutes too long she came over with complimentary gumbo and it was delicious. We had the fettuccine and that was really good too as well as a bucket drink. Food was good when it finally came. Normally we don't return when we have a bad experience but the gumbo was great and the fettuccine the first waitress not so nice at all very weird attitude in all of her 1 minute at the table but hopefully we get our 2nd waitress when we give it one more try because we loved the location too!

Ok so the bartender was busy and it didn't stop the chef from starting to take our orders giving us his spin on the menu. He was definitely stepping up. Of course the food. Portions we're amazing the price was then perfect for the quality and cost... don't change a damn thing! We were on a time crunch but this place served it quick so service is great and accommodating. Oh and there is this view of the lake that is awesome. I highly recommend taking the stroll off the beaten path and get a nice spot here.

The food was good ... the waitress was a waste of space... Erica ... might want to train her how to do her job.. a little personality wouldn t hurt! A shame because the food really was good!

STAY AWAY! My boyfriend and I went for dinner tonight and were the only ones in the restaurant. There was still an hour left until closing. We sat for 20 minutes while every worker watched us from a distance and never came to even take our drink order. We felt so unwelcome. We ended up leaving without ever being served. This place has the worst service! STAY AWAY!

It was less than mediocre experience. The food was just ok, I asked them to make me fruity cocktail it was fruity only no alcohol. Not impressed

Night out with my wife tonight. Very nice place on the river. Shrimp and grits was perfect. Fish and chips was very good.

Lake view was good..foot not so much, and no one in my group liked the food..just tasted like frozen food that was quickly heated up...

The service was good but every morsel of food , even the mashed potatoes were spiced with a very heavy cajun type sauce

Wow. In the middle of no where is this lil
seafood house. Welcomed in by an amazing staff. Knowledgable about the menu and very helpful. Raw oysters were the BOMB! The Gumbo is to die for! Chef Keland came and introduced himself and was so pleasant and informative

The service was great. We ordered the boom boom shrimp which were a little bit more like buffalo shrimp, but still yummy. The surf and turf was delicious. Definitely a new spot to come when we feel like dining in the water.

My first time dining here was a better experience and couldn't wait to return however I was disappointed when I did. The presentation was sloppy and was not pleased when my dish of Jambalaya Pasta (cost $18) barely had seafood with a side of toasted white bread. The side of #barely" loaded potato was served with condiments in take home plastic containers. What did not help was the curt waitress to top my dinner. If I am going to spend $32 for one person meal I expect better service. I don't like to post negative comments in my home town restaurants however I know they can do better. Maybe it was a bad day for the chef and staff. Willing to try one more time. I will keep you posted.

Excellent Food and Service! I planned a ride to this restaurant with a group. The restaurant followed up with me several times. When we arrived, they had tables reserved and servers ready. Service was excellent and food was better. A fantastic experience.

Tuna appetizer, crab legs and crab cakes were delicious. Nathan was a fabulous server as well. And bubbles over that view are to die for!

Meals were quite good. There was live music this night. We asked twice to have the volume lowered to no avail. Server never returned to our table to check on the meals.

Reasonably priced. Shrimp was good. Crab cakes not so good. Friendly waitress.

I really liked the crab cakes. They were well cooked and I got them grilled. The mash potatoes were a tiny bit dry. The broccoli was well cooked. My sister got the shrimp linguini and there was a bit of oil at the bottom of the dish but otherwise well done! Would definitely recommend.

Nice and clean. Service was mediocre. Ordered burger (medium rare), came out well done. Also ordered pasta Primavera with Cajun Alfredo sauce (excellently prepared). Burger was redone and came out great.

We enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant on the water. The food was good and fairly priced. The service was cery good. Live entertainment was good but a bit loud. Would recommend this place.

Food good but a bit expensive. AC was not working so very hot on our visit.

Appetizers were excellent. We had gator bites and conch fritters. Grilled shrimp was not on the menu, but the Chef substituted in place of fried. We sat by the window with a beautiful view of the lake. Our server was very polite. Prices reasonable. Great food! Over all an enjoyable meal!

The food is good nice view outdoor. Crab cake cake had shell in it.

In short we came in after church as a large party looking to enjoy lunch together and instead left promptly. The Chef told us he could not accommodate us all with tables (in a nearly empty restaurant) and said we should go somewhere else . So we did!
