I have just called the emergency room in Nieuwegein for my father who had a serious copd attack, I get an arrogant man on the line who says that I can not go there and but the GP station must call and wait until a doctor comes and then will determine to which hospital I may go .. Incredibly this !!! The general practitioner has indicated that he or she will immediately go to an emergency in the event of a subsequent attack, because a serious attack often requires hospitalization. Does he then say I am in charge of the emergency room, you go to another hospital !! And just hanged! This is how you are addressed and how they treat their patients. My father has now been admitted to the Diakonessen hospital as an emergency and has been treated as a patient. Shame on you, every minute is saving lives, but you certainly don't care.

Positive experiences with this hospital. I felt taken seriously by the doctor and the people behind the desk were very friendly.

Had a good experience with the dental surgeon, my tooth was professionally removed.

2 X with heart complaints included in the Antonius 2X sent home. Make an appointment with the poli Monday ..

I have been a heart patient for 10 years and I feel good when it is wrong, but the Cardiologist saw this differently.
The 2nd X I refused to leave the hospital without a satisfactory solution for me, and after many 5s and 6s I was transferred to the Meander in Amersfoort, arrived there (in an ambulance which was not necessary because I was allowed to go home? ) received perfectly and no discussion about my complaints. Immediately doped next morning and a stand was placed in the dense vein.

I understand perfectly well that where mistakes are made, but that you have to talk like Brugman to save my own life is really going too far for me.
No more Antonius for me ..

very bad `care '. my father has one foot in the custard when I visit him. Filthy pajamas are put wet in a garbage bag. his food is served without cutlery and then it is strange that he does not eat. This after a major heart surgery and he is confused. He can hardly speak, so he cannot ask for help. We cannot be there every day because we live far away. We have already lost 2 pajamas, thrown away, glasses and his entire toilet bag is gone! The room is very dirty and if given something, medication is done without water and without looking at him, the surgery is good here, then you have to leave! I give a star because less is not possible

Had several negative experiences with this hospital. The complaints are not taken seriously enough and mistakes are pushed under the carpet. A great hospital in a communist state, in this country I would like to see it differently.

Have more than 10 years experience with the ENT department of the St. Antonius hospital in Nieuwegein.
Reception: excellent!
Making appointments: if you have to have different appointments in one day, the ENT assistants arrange that.
You have to come from afar, that is taken into account.
You will be treated seriously and respectfully as a patient.
The expertise is at a very high level.
Conclusion: no other for me!
Too bad that there is too little operating room capacity for my ENT doctor.

Ik probeer alweer 4 weken een afspraak te maken met dr. Argostoni ( Cardioloog )
Wat denk je.
Gaat niet lukken wordt van kastje naar de muur gestuurd en gelogen regelen we, we regelen helemaal niets.
Moet aanvraag via UMC , Nee u moet echt via Nieuwegein regelen, Nee meneer moet echt via UMC ooh nee ik mail u een formulier maar dat wordt vanmiddag zit niet op mijn eigen plek , 15:55 weer geen mail.
Bellen maar weer verhaal verteld , nee meneer kan niet UMC daar moet u zijn uitgelegd dat collega e-mail zou sturen in de wacht gezet daarna probeer de huisarts maar.
verder nog vragen ? NEE ik wil een afspraak bij mijn cardioloog die vanuit het UMC naar NIEUWEGEIN is gegaan meer niet.

wat is hier zo moeilijk aan.

Wil allen maar een afspraak met Dr. Argostoni.

De ene ster vind ik nog te gul!
Ik vind het een schandalig en onbeschoft ziekenhuis
Vanaf 12uur op de spoedeisende hulp met mijn schoonmoeder ! Ten eerste loopt er een cameraploeg van sbs6 waarmee ze te druk bezig zijn om mooi te zijn ! Mijn schoonmoeder heeft ruim 4 uur met zware pijn gelegen te hebben nauwelijks bij bewustzijn ijskoud en lage saturatie voordat er 1(jaja ) Slimme jongen er achter kwam dat haar infuus er helemaal verkeerd in zat en ze dus de pijn stilling (paracetamol en morfine) niet binnen kreeg.. ze wisten niet wat het was besloten naar onze geklaag en gezeur maar een ct scan te doen .. wat blijkt die arme vrouw heeft een gat in haar maag daar kwamen ze om 20.15 pas achter en dan tot nu(23.17) nog steeds w88 op haar *spoed* operatie in de 3 uur dat ze hier op deze kamer leg niet een keer gevraagd hoe het met der is of iets... Bravo!

Seems like a concentration camp. As a newcomer, you get lost and the central way is like a factory with conveyor belt. My dying father was put in a room where normally 6 people were completely empty without any atmosphere. So lonely. Really terrible instead of a nice lamer with suitable light and a beautiful view really terrible !!!! Never the antonius for me

Today my mother's friend, had to be admitted, the hospital is full and he has to go all the way to Hilversum.
How should my mom go to him? She couldn't even go to Hilversum because she couldn't go home anymore, so that man had to leave it alone on first aid.

Refuses to take care of my partner who got a referral from rotterdam hospital and say oh it's okay it only happened 1 time. HERE EVERYTHING IS ABOUT MONEY BUT ONCE SOMEONE DIES, IT IS YOUR DEBT.

Ik zat op afdeling DML met klachten die niet geplaatst konden worden. Alle verplegers waren meedenkend en behulpzaam. In het bijzonder Astrid die zich volledig inzet niet alleen als medewerkster van de afdeling maar als persoon zijnde, hartverwarmend!!! Een gevoel dat ik niet kan omschrijven en niet zo snel zal vergeten. Ik ben de verplegers erg dankbaar voor hun goede zorg. Bedankt voor jullie geduld...

There s an in-house restaurant where u can grab quality food, few stores and medical staff treats you like a boss

Well helped, better than I had waited in advance. 1 star removed because the queue at the pharmacy was 45 min, if I had known this in advance I would have taken the ibuprofin somewhere else.

When I visited De Drent (pulmonologist) I did not have time to ask questions. Came from Almere to Nieuwegein (after being on the waiting list for three months) and was outside (confused) outside with a lot of questions within 5 minutes.

Tijdens mijn opname heb ik goede ervaringen met de verpleging en de chirurgen gehad. Van de chirurgen een duidelijk verhaal en de verpleging werken keihard en vriendelijk.

Total dredge even a simple clavicle operation lasted longer than 6 months to schedule the mega staff too short so if you need help do not go to that hospital.

I went on Saturday 25/01/2020 in the emergency room, for a distorted finger. The GP saw me for 2 minutes, and sent me home without even putting anything to my finger. His suggestion was to wait two days like this, until Monday, where I should go to my GP, and they would decide if I would need an xRay and give me a cast.

Thankfully my family insisted to go straight to a second hospital, where they gave me an Xray. It appeared that I actually had a difficult bone fracture and they put a cast on my finger immediately and even scheduled an operation...

Very good and professional staff and treatment. Was very comfortable as a family and couldn't have asked for better.

Two weeks at the Cardiology department. Professional doctors and nursing was extraordinary.

How can people be so negative about St. Antonius in Nieuwegein, in my experience / opinion one of the best hospitals around Utrecht. Always clean, friendly staff, and ample parking. Unfortunately, parking is not cheap, but always space, and you really do not have to walk far to your car. I have also been to the emergency department several times during the night, and always knowledgeable staff, whom I thank very much for their efforts! Of course also the other employees of this hospital.

Bij bezoek neuroloog krijg ik geen tijd om iets te vragen of te zeggen.
Achteraf ben ik in een keer een aanstelster.

It has been months since I was rushed to the cardiology department (after cardiac arrest) and underwent open heart surgery. Nothing but praise for the cordial and expert nurses, the ward doctors, the cardiologist and in particular the chest doctor Mr. Daeter. Also experienced aftercare and rehabilitation as very professional and pleasant. In the meantime I am almost back at the former level. Thanks for that.

Good hospital. Very professional. Hygienic and clean. Clear about the treatment. Sometimes you have to have some time, but try to make planning yourself.
Look for the correct telephone number on the site. There are many departments.

Can only judge the good care of the reception, blood collection, radiology and lung department. All departments are super friendly and guide you well. Only 2.50 euros per hour parking is really a lot! Especially if you have to be there regularly. Not everyone can travel by public transport or is entitled to elderly transport. Or you come from one of the small villages and have no direct connection. You will be punished for that.

Tip: just park in the area where the back entrance borders. Almost always place.

Have to wait an hour and a half at the pharmacy for something simple. The mentality in hospitals and at pharmacies is so terribly different from the service-oriented middle class.

The treatment is good but the food is so bad.
Meat is rubber and the vegetables have lost their color. Puree is dry and granular. And this for a month. Dessert is not custard, but beef gelatin.
You can choose between 2 meals. But that's it. Bone in the fish. You will only be there for a month. Pppffff food is so important no really bad.

I come for an appointment with my mother 83 years old and I have to wait more than two hours !!

I have just one simple question: at which location is the ophthalmologist Mrs. Muradin. Tomorrow morning.
I call ophthalmology for more than half an hour. I have to keep practicing patience and keep my patient card handy. Then I call the general number. The operator does not even know at which location Mrs. Muradin works or whether she works at all there. I am connected with an assistant.
St. ANtonius is not even able to do that. If the simplest things are not in order, then how can we
have faith in the medical treatment of such a hospital.

It would be nice if they refer you to the GP at the emergency room. Simply because people help each other, it saves you a lot of money if you do not yet know that the first aid department no longer exists, and they can also put some threads in your head at the GP station.

Wachtijden van een half jaar zijn eerder de norm dan uitzondering. Pas bij zeuren kont er oppeens eerder een plekje vrij.

Koffie kost 4,- voor de bezoekers. Zelfs in Disneyland vragen ze niet zulke absurde prijzen.

Het Nederlandse zorgstelsen is verrot tot het bot. Bedankt Rutte!

Since we live in Nieuwegein ('17), we have never been inside the walls of this building (because you are not here for pleasure of course). Because my partner now had to be here for taking an X-ray and taking blood samples, we were delighted to find that she was helped very quickly. We have both experienced this differently in other hospitals. You will receive a friendly welcome from each department and will be well informed about what you can expect with a certain medical procedure. The whole makes the impression to function as a well-oiled machine; Chapeau!
It all looks neat and modern inside. There are all kinds of handy and pleasant facilities in the hall. For example, you can have a nice drink there.

Fairly good local hospital. Especially the MDL Ibd department has a good name outside the region.

I advise you not to come by here.

3 hours waiting for a higher urgency at emergency GP post. At pharmacies waited at 1.30 for a simple recipe.

Mensen die 1 ster geven zijn zijkerds, waarschijnlijk verzuurd omdat ze ziek zijn. Het is een goed ziekenhuis en word er altijd kundig geholpen!
Ik moet ook wel is 10min wachten, en de poli,s gaan erg vroeg dicht(16:30) en een wondje is wel is gaan ontsteken.
Maat t zijn artsen geen tovenaars.
Ik vind ze altijd zeer vriendelijk en betrokken!

Read reviews from people who think it is a bad hospital and others who are satisfied again. I had to have photos taken and then referred to the emergency department. All took a while, but they warn you that there is a considerable waiting time when you are in the waiting room. Afterwards well treated and informed by the doctor and the plaster doctor. I have been referred to by my insurer for an operation, and my Amsterdam cardiologist and surgeon put their hand in the fire. Beautiful hospital. Very pleasant staff. They work there expertly, efficiently, with short waiting lists. They have fulfilled all the promised.

After discharge medication. One box of diclofinac. At the pharmacy of the hospital more like half an hour on the issue. It had to be taken somewhere. And I was not the only one. Several people who needed discharge medication had to wait 30 minutes or more. I do not think it is exaggerated if there is better coordination between the nursing departments and the pharmacy.

They were the best, i just came to Holland but had some issue. Their advices and calming me down was really impressive. Thank you again

Best hospital admission in my life, I was very sick and was going through hell, but it was fine despite everything.

The doctors were patient, the private room very nice and everyone did everything in their power to get me better.

If you get sick, I would really recommend that hospital, despite the rush at the emergency department.
