I have just called the emergency room in Nieuwegein for my father who had a serious copd attack, I get an arrogant man on the line who says that I can not go there and but the GP station must call and wait until a doctor comes and then will determine to which hospital I may go .. Incredibly this !!! The general practitioner has indicated that he or she will immediately go to an emergency in the event of a subsequent attack, because a serious attack often requires hospitalization. Does he then say I am in charge of the emergency room, you go to another hospital !! And just hanged! This is how you are addressed and how they treat their patients. My father has now been admitted to the Diakonessen hospital as an emergency and has been treated as a patient. Shame on you, every minute is saving lives, but you certainly don't care.
