Great venue. Incredibly over priced food and drink.

Much better sound than SECC...height of seats could be a bit scary

Seen many great gigs here. Suprised me how much I liked it. Acoustics are fantastic. Parking is an absolute rip off, so get a lift or take pubic transport if you can

Fantastic night out at the boxing ... inue smashed the American Rodriguez.. no as expensive as some people make out.. 10 pounds for burger n chips with lemonade.. not bad

Fantastic place. Fantastic venue. What a night, watching not only Rick Astley and Take That, but a surprise performance from Lulu!!!!!!!

Disappointed that Hydro Restaurants were closed.

Been a few times over the last few years, no real complaints to be honest, staff great, facilities good, only issue I have is the highest level seats should come with free oxygen bottles, and climbing ropes

Seated in row z and expected the worst. Simply an amazing view and seems so compact for all it's size, great sound, plenty space in seating area whether sitting or

Great modern events venue with pillarless internal design

Sound and space are brilliant, good atmosphere. Too pricey for drinks but to be expected. Very long wait time to use bathroom which should be taken into consideration. Few issues but the best place to see live performances!

About what you'd expect from a big venue, overpriced food + drink that's subpar. Doesn't detract from the experience though

Excellent Kiss concert. Lots of pyrotechnics and venue did not catch fire, which is a good thing from a safety perspective.

Spacious venue. Plenty of stalls for merchandise, bars and food. Friendly security and staff were happy to help with directions. Overall a great experience was had.

Drinks are way too expensive, apart from that the venue is well organised.

Amazing Venue I Highly Recommend I hope to come back to the SSE hydro for many amazing shows to come

Place is really going to pot..hardly a shop open in it anymore..not somewhere i would choose to go shopping

Great venue. Watched Walking with Dinosaurs. Perfect views from all over. Only thing is I wish they had larger bathrooms. Queues are massive at the interval

Great venue, unfortunately I think the multi storey car park requires an urgent rethink,. I was an hour trying to get out of the car park at a recent concert.

Smart venue. Could do with a better choice of beers. Slight echo from back wall during concert. Very spacious.

Wentto see rod Stewart and couldn't see a thing for people standing up down frot of the venue i complained to the supervisor he very kindly gave us other seats great service.

Went see walking with dinosaurs with our grandson.had a great time.

Concert would have been great if the security staff would have ejected the drink patrons and ones that constantly about and scream when the artist is performing.no point in complaining as they never respond to online complaints either just take the money and don't care shame on you

What a stunning venue with 8,000 seats. Difficult to see the stage or big screen for the back rows of seats though

Saw Take That there. Great venue. Stayed overnight at the Radisson Red which was perfect. Nice walk into town next day.

Not the best sound quality for such a good venue place :(

Went to see Westlife. Staff were so helpful and this helped make the event really enjoyable

Love this place . Where ever you sit you can see . The food and Fri k is over priced but I just eat before I go in and take Capri suns as your allowed cartons but not bottles. They get taken off you.

TBH the Hydro is a bit of a let down. Outside makes it look a lot better than it really is. Inside is very basic and the tiered seats are vertigo inducing.
Much prefer the Concert Hall or O2.

Great venue, full of food options and various drinks. Large space and atmosphere inside. Fantastic to see Florence and the machine.

Great looking building although not as nice as it's bigger brother.

As a venue. no problem..staff very helpful.
Alcohol hyped up prices..as with all types of
similar arena.
The sound on this particular concert was poor (proclaimers)...we were sitting to the bands left, and the band all but drowned out the lyrics of every song.
Heaps of people left after 500 miles..7 songs or so still to go...weird..anyway won't return to see them in the near future.

Great location for musical events, sporting occasions and presentations. Good sized car park.

The SSE Hydro is an event hall in Glasgow that is sometimes used for concerts. The lighting in particular makes it a very impressive location in the evening. Can recommend a visit, provided the live act is correct, of course.

Not enough big screens and not big enough existing ones

Seen plenty shows as well as worked here. Great modern venue and opens up plenty opportunities for big names performing in Scotland.

A nice place to visit with a beautiful river next to it.

Great venue for live gigs. Staff very professional, which is what you need in a 14000 capacity venue. Saw KISS, RIGHT PLACE FOR A GREAT TIME!!

Great venue for gigs but slightly expensive for food and drink

Good venue could do with more bars or staff serving faster as your "not allowed" to byob so spend half the night waiting to be served !

Superb acoustics. Seen several bands here and haven't had a bad seat yet, even up in the gods.

Good Space not too large, I am in the hydro club and have good seats just up in the first rows in the balcony and th view of the stage is good, not sure if the seats higher up have the best view but they have large screens to view which help, the food is okay in the clubhouse but not to be raved about, I like not queuing and being able To go and relax in the clubhouse or radio booth

Well appointed venue, good selection of vendors albeit a bit pricey. Ample parking at site. Downside is there is no inside public waiting area for drop off and collecting patrons

Great venue both seating and standing areas the sound quality is very good.... Blondie were brilliant on Tuesday, they looked ancient but close your eyes and they were young again.
