Small but popular pub in downtown Salt Lake. Good food, great beverages, NO unpaid parking (your downtown). This location also offers a rustic and mellow atmosphere for hosting private events on the two floors above the main dining area.

I just wanted to disappear into the landscape and read my manga while enjoying a keto-friendly meal and decent wine. I was pleasantly surprised to find all three, and the wine was better than decent. It was Jesse however, that earned the 5 star rating. I made my meal super complicated and she noted that I didn t want bread with my sandwich. She came back and asked me if I wanted croutons on my salad due to that. Who pays that much attention? I appreciated being allowed to just sit and be anti-social, but with service that was top notch. Good food, good hum, good wine. Can you really ask for more?

I really enjoyed my experience here. We didn't have to wait to be seated (3 people) on a busy late Saturday night. I got a table right next to a beautiful warm fire and I was freezing, so I was very happy with this seat. The drinks were great, the appetizer was delicious (sampler), the sandwiches were decent, and the people (diners/employees) were laid back and happy. I would definitely come back again. Only thing I didn't like was paying for parking due to it being in down town Salt Lake. That's just a location thing though, so I won't hold it against them. Lol! Thank you guys for a great night.

While the staff was friendly enough the bar area was dirty and the food served (simple burger) was terrible. The bun was Dried out and the meat equaled the bun. If it was cooked anymore it could have been a charcoal briquette. Don t see where this can be a highly rated establishment I ve seen posted to eat at within the SLC airport. Try somewhere else if you want food.

I have been to Squatter's a number of times and never found it to be extraordinary in any respect. Sometimes the food is good, but you would probably not go there just for the food. It is always busy for lunch and I can see how it would have a pretty good bar scene at night so those looking for a good local bar would probably be happy with Squatter's.

The service at Squatter's always seems to be lacking as well. The host(ess) is generally very friendly but I have never had a waiter who paid any attention to my table. They always seem overworked and underhappy so oftentimes I am just excited to get food and one refill.

So, why do I keep going to Squatter's? It is close to the office and people that I know like it a lot for one thing or another. At some point I will find a menu item that is fantastic and assuming the service gets a little better I will come revise my review.

Good range of beers, both regular and seasonal. Food side is terrific, has the usual burgers and fries, but plenty of other good options. Plenty of staff on hand, so service is super quick.

I came here for lunch for my friend's graduation lunch and over all we had a good time. The service was good and quick even for a large group such as ours. I had the pulled pork sandwich with chips and salsa(s) as a side and both were quite good. Overall, I think our group had a great experience and I'd like to go back for dinner and try their beers.

Didn't get to try the beer because it was a business lunch. Patio seating was very nice with misters and cover from the sun. The house salad was excellent due to their scrumptious cilantro-lime dressing. I also had their BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ Sauce uses their stout beer giving the sauce a deep chocolate undertone.

We went into squatters last night. Ian was the best server we've ever had! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about beers. We felt very welcome and comfortable. 10/10 would go again!

Arguably the best place to sit down, and enjoy a meal in the SLC airport. They have great local craft beer on tap, and a huge selection of food. Vegan's and meat eaters alike can both get a quality plate of food here.

I had the Euro Gyro which was recommended to me by be the waitress, and the Pub Pretzel. The gyro was delicious and the bread it was in was wonderfully warm and soft. The pretzel was good too, but I only enjoyed it with the cheese. The pale ale mustard sauce it also came with, was not for me.

I liked this place! We just stopped in for a beer cuz we like breweries. The place was nice and had good variety. Law prohibits you from drinking without food at a restaurant so luckily they had a dollar menu of food which was perfect! Oh and the beer was good too! Great place & great service too!

Alex says this place rocks and that you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. I have to agree. Plus the staff, aside from the apparently stoned host that sat us, were all very helpful. Get the beer that has to do with mountain biking, that stuff is pretty damn good!

Squatters ALMOST has the perfect brew pub setup. Great food, amazing beer, relaxing atmosphere. The service, however, is almost always terrible. There are only a handful of times in the many visits we have made where we have had even average service. What is the deal Squatters? If the customer service matched the legendary beer and atmosphere, I would visit here on a weekly basis.

2017: My opinion of this location has steadily declined, unfortunately. The food has become regularly mediocre and regardless of how busy it often is, the hosting service has been less than stellar.
This morning I ended up feeling like the hosts were bothered by people showing up to eat, acting as though our group was really putting them out by not knowing if we had 6 or 8 people (the tables were almost entirely empty at that juncture, for context).
Our server was nice and mostly on point, though he opted to split a dish I was sharing without mentioning that there is an additional charge for the service. I did not ask for a split and I thought it was gratis the way he presented it to me. I'm unlikely to return.

2010: I haven't been disappointed yet. I'm not an incredibly picky eater, but the food was good and the beer was delicious. We stayed long just drinking and socializing. I loved it.

Wanted to like the place, but a brewery that is out of 3 of their seasonal offerings at the start of the night? Fish and chips were more batter than fish. Below average food, far below average for 'pub food'.

We are visiting from Tennessee and Squatters was recommended to us. The service was excellent! Our server was Forest and he was exceptional! Beer and cheese curds were great too! Highly recommended!

Chicken wings were terrible. Told waitress and her reply was, I've tried the wings and there great in a snotty voice. Weak mgr, agreed wings were bad, but other than that, had nothing to say. Looks like they have let quality slide. Not there long enough to rate beer.

Three stars if only for the bottled ipa and the kind waitress. Knowing this is of course not a sports bar, but asked decently to get the millennial bartender to alter one of three monitors from a mean nothing soccer game to a Cubs Cards nailbitter and the prince wouldnt give me the time of day, deferring the outcome of my request to other eaters who could have cared less, "ill ask around" he said . Hoping for a at least one screen to included my request, it was a no go as the prince never even gave it an effort. Baseball, sooo american im sure. Sorry Squats. Ill be going to Red Rock next time.

Excellent choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Burgers are phenomenal, or opt for traditional meatloaf or fish and chips. You can't go wrong! Beer selection is great, out just swing by and purchase buy some high point beer to go on a Sunday!

From the moment I walked in I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience ofthe really nice Pub. I said at the bar because I was sitting by myself and the bartender gave me a menu and ask me what beer are like to have. I chose a nice Pilsner and was very happy with my choice, they have a quite large selection to choose from so I asked him what most closely related to a Belgium blond and he responded with the perfect choice. Eating by myself I do enjoy conversation from the bartender's which day did happily and told me about theirselves and some of the beer that they have chosen in the past. I ordered a steak with vegetables and a salad and was very very pleased with the quality of the food and the presentation of the dish. I will definitely visit here again before I leave Salt Lake City.

About what you expect for an airport bar/restaurant. The exception being they have some pretty good draft and bottled microbrews at not ridiculous prices. Stuck here for a couple hours and they were quite friendly and accommodating. Nice feature is the power outlets under the bar.

Squatters is just down the street from our law firm's offices in Salt Lake City so many of our lawyers and staff have been there a number of times. The reviews, however, are very mixed. The bar scene is fun and some of the food is good, but some of the food is also not good depending on who is in the kitchen at the time. Generally Squatter's is a safe bet for lunch though so give it a try if you haven't.
