I specifically moved to Kentucky in 2009 to ride with Susan Harris. Susan is a energetic and direct communicator who has both the enthusiasm to teach beginner children and the knowledge to teach experienced adults. I have yet to see anyone take a lesson with her that did not come out a better rider from it.

Spring Run Farm has a dedication to quality horse care and a knowledgeable, hard-working staff that will care for your horse like their own, with individual attention in feeding, turnout, and medication. The atmosphere at Spring Run is positive, family-oriented, and mutually supportive, making for both happy people and happy horses!

I love Spring Run Farm!! It has been my "horsey home" for over 30 years. The quality of horses, horse-care and training is top notch. I came to Spring Run three years ago as a working student and could not have found a more wonderful place to work and train. The barn staff takes the utmost care of the horses and will cater to the specific needs of every horse which steps foot on the property. Susan Harris is also a fantastic coach who works well with every individual who wants to learn how to ride. The knowledge she has imparted on me will last a lifetime and I have so much more to learn from her! I can't imagine a better place to further my riding skills as well as my horsemanship. I'm so lucky to have found Spring Run those years ago and moved my mare to the barn permanently while I attend college as I cannot imagine boarding her anywhere else!

Spent the night at the inn, it was great. Very comfortable bed and breakfast was delicious. Cant wait for our next visit

I have kept my horses here ever since moving to KY in 2010. Spring Run has excellent care and facilities and most importantly is a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. We all support each other at the barn, at competitions, and for fun! Susan has created a wonderful environment of safety, learning, and fun. She can and will help little tots bopping around on ponies, dressage masters working on their tempi's, and eventing guru's galloping tables. Her wide range of experience with horses and people make her able to help and better every student that comes to her. For me personally she has improved my technical abilities and my ability to find a solution to every horse and every problem. Susan has helped push me to a whole new level in my riding and opened my eyes to how much more there is to learn. Spring Run also provided me with a wonderful set of friends and family since I moved away from my hometown. I could not be more thankful and grateful to Susan and to Spring Run Farm.

Our teenage daughter has been taking lessons at Spring Run Farm since moving to KY in 2018. When we moved here many people were recommending we come to Spring Run Farm and we are so glad we listened to them! Prior to riding here she had only done dressage. Since coming to Spring Run, Susan has taught her show jumping and cross country as well as dressage. Our daughter says she learns something new every time she comes for her lesson. We thank Spring Run for the opportunity to lease a horse and compete in numerous competitions and clinics. No other place compares!
