Very poor meat not cooked through eggs hard only decent thing's chips & press also cool

This place has good days and bad days all too often. Made me laugh when a sign told customers to expect a delay on food whilst staff get used to the idea of a new menu...defo way too much information from management

Been here eight times since I lived in Boston. So far I have no complaints nice to eat and drink in. I am actually coming here for Christmas Dinner recommend.

Food wasn't really nice, microwave cooked, or reheated, but staff very pleasant

Really annoyed. Booked a table yesterday because my Mrs fancied a roast. Arrived, no record of booking. Guy behind bar calls over some woman called Sarah who said "put them in the corner over there" She then points to a table and leaves us to it. As it was our first time I didn't know if it was waitress service or what. After 20 minutes I decided to go up to the bar only to be told the carvery only had gammon. So we left and won't be going back. Glad I hadn't bought any drinks or anything - this lot really need a lesson in customer service and in being able to deliver what it says on the menu. I don't think I have ever felt less welcome at a restaurant anywhere. We went and had an Indian instead.

Food and service very good and price excellent two adults and two children also including drinks 34 pounds only let down was mens toilets water on the floor and smelly really requires some money spent on them

A lot better now they have new management. Hot food good and good prices. Nice staff

We haven't been to this restaurant for many years but we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly and helpful people working there and the food from starters to main and dessert was all good. The restaurant is due to close for refurbishment soon so it should be even better when it reopens on October 16th.

Wrong drinks served, raw chicken on kids plate, replacement meal less than half the size, puddings brought out 3 minutes after mains

The last time we visited there was more choice on the menu, it is one of the best food places that we have tried, and we have tried lots of different places. Great food and very friendly staff.

Because the steak came out on a piping hot skillet by the time I got to it, my medium rare steak was well done. Nice idea but unfortunately can t serve everything on a hot skillet...

Nothing to write home about, mash tasted like it was the instant add hot water type and the beef pie pastry was really hard. Woundnt bother, keeping and do a left and go maccies

Great for little ones. Food was decent, exactly as you would expect from this kind of place. The attached soft play area is the main attraction though, my little girl had a great time. Would definitely return.

Great food at at a great price! Sunday carvery hits the mark every time. Haloumi fajitas as the vegetarian option was a real winner. Najos to share as a starter was more than enough. Need to book on a Sunday as it does get very busy however all the staff members keep turning the tables quickly while still smiling.

This establishment was actually better than I expected for being a cheap restaurant. The food was cooked to my liking and the staff were really friendly. Even the toilets were clean. Overall a good place to go visit even just for a drink or a family meal.

Staff put hairs in food. And dont now what ketchup is. Their are never any knives and forks.

Depending on staff it can be really nice, some of the fuzzy heads staff can be a bit rude and condisending but others can be really friendly

Burgers over cooked, they bring steak out on a sizzling plate so it continues cooking :/

Me and my 11 month old son both got S&D after eating here. Also the carvery was awful with fake mash. Avoid.

It's been a couple of years since we were at this pub and it's had a re-fit and new manager. What a difference, nice and friendly good atmosphere the food was lovely and came out quickly so the kids didn't wait long. Definitely come back

Went for a tasty and extremely well priced roast dinner here today.



The beef is by far the best option here, well flavoured and tender. The ham and turkey are OK if on the dry side. There are numerous veg sides, self serve and as much as you want (on one plate)

I recommend coming as close to 12pm as possible on a Sunday as the queue for the roast at 1pm was significant. It moved quickly though, and was well worth price.

Good food for the price cant fault it. Service a tad slow though

Had a lovely meal here with all the family for my sons birthday. I used to be quite critical of the place, but it certainly seems much better now. Food has very much improved. All ten of us left virtually nothing on our plates, and the little ones had a great time at fuzzy ed's afterwards. Recommended

Not been the same since the revamp. Tried to jam in too many tables to the same space, and in my mind it doesn't work. Staff are still lovely and food is ok, but remove some of the extra seating, it doesn't work

Not bad staff very friendly and good at what they do basically good customer service, but can't say much for the management last time I was there for a meal with my family I had a small issue with my food and management refused to come and speak to me, it wasn't bad just a small issue

Lovely friendly environment food is always great value for monies especially calvary on a Sunday

Went breakfast, food was cold, bacon was burnt, not good value for money, will stick to burton house from now on!

Just took our grandchildren for tea, lovely meal great service and value for money.

Just been refurbished, the soft play area looks awesome and the fuzzy Ed's staff are really enthusiastic.

Waited ages for food for it to be wrong. Steak was tough as boots and my mums sizzler dish wasn't even hot let alone sizzling.

Food ( Sunday Carvery) not best, go elsewhere in future. Was dissapointed with quality.

Great place for kids, needs a bit of updating though

I took my mum for tea last night and we both had gammon the gammon was greasy when we finished our food the plate looked greasy it was the first time in a while that we went their my mum said that she didn't like the gammon because of the grease.

Mediocre food at best. Food was well warm ish at least and the service was terrible. And they can't use the excuse it was busy because it was dead. Staff to busy chatting cr*p to each other to actually get on with the job in hand.

Had a bad experience on the 07/03/15 lady on the front house was so rude to us. Told us to wait for the table for an hour, we did not mind as we had 2 small children so we went to fuzzy ed for them to play. After hour of waiting she finally gave us the table in the door where there were loads of people waiting for their drinks. we asked to be seated elsewhere she was so rude and we decided to leave to go to Burton house where we receive the most, perfect service. This is not even about the table we were given, it is the way she spoke to us like we were nothing. when we say we are leaving she didn't care she said if we wanted to be seated elsewhere we will have to wait for another hour. If you are foreigner this place is not for you. It seemed the girl in the front house was only rude to us as we are foreigners. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

Excellent food and very good service from courteous staff.

Suitable Food for a affordable meal out. Can get fairly busy at times however the restaurant has dedicated areas for children families and adults.

Very helpful we phoned and asked if we could stay the night in carpark in our motorhome and we had a nice meal and drink great evening staff very friendly we will be going back

Great place to stop if you are passing through Boston on the A16. Good big carpark and good refreshments.

Exactly what you would expect from a large chain, assembly line food but good value for money, clean and plenty of choice.
Very easy place to get to, despite being a popular place for bostonians, there is so much seating that it is nearly always possible to get a table, I don't like going to the bar to order my food but it keeps the prices down.

Bog standard 'fayre'. People eating out thinking it's Fine Dining. Okay for what it is but dont expect miracles in either food or service
