Wildhorse Resort Review

I had an early dinner at the restaurant. The food was good. The prices were reasonable. I am from Portland and indoor smoking has been illegal here for 10 years. People did smoke in the restaurant but it wasn't that big of a deal. I do prefer a smoke-free environment. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were even shuttled to and from the parking lot.

I travel around the country for my job. As such I stop at many casinos as I pass through the different states. I usually stop at one a week even if it is only to take advantage of the lunch buffet.
I am no expert on casinos or winning while at one, but you can pick up on the atmosphere just by walking around without playing. Are the people that are playing happy or frustrated? This will tell a lot, also all of the slots show you their last payout. So if you figure most people start with $20 and you see that most of the last payouts are less than $20 You can figure it's a losing day.
Well I'm happy to say this casino was a happy place, there were a lot of slots and table games. The building and parking was first rate. Also a good amount of machines were above the $20 payout. I tried 4 machines and 3 if the 4 paid.
The buffet didn't open until 4 p.m. on the Friday that I was there so I wasn't able to try it out. Over a it was a very nice casino, one that I will visit again.

One of the few places left that has an indoor smoking section. Tons of slots, they also have roulette and blackjack tables as well as poker.

It was a very nice experience. Very clean and so much fun. Didn't realize how much time passed by due to so much fun I was having. Will definitely be back .

We enjoyed the buffet. We won money on the slots. We saw there was a movie theatre, but we'll have to do that next time. Parking lot was clean. If you have the chance to visit, do so! We will definitely return.

We stopped to eat breakfast. The buffet was nice, and the breakfast was made fresh... Just seemed like they ran out of meat and supplemented with veggies... Kinda spendy too

Buffet is always the same. Definitely not worth what they charge.

Machines are to tight u get in to the bonus and pull out 30cents not my cup of tea if they loosened up the machines maybe people could actually win something.

It was very fun, always something to do and cant wait to go back.

Clean rooms, good food, courteous staff, wide variety of TV and cinema shows. Gambling if you want it. Our favorite overnight stop between Boise and Portland.

We had a lot of fun and ate at the restaurant for all you can eat shrimp and steak that was very expensive yet very good

The food was great as it always is, and their ice cream machine is back in service.

Great place to stay when ya be cruzin through the Blue Mountains. Plus, they have uhm, a casino there. Tell em Teddy sent ya.

The casino and buffet were fun. I would return if we didn't live so far away. The busing definitely needs work. We needed transport from a campground. The information we received from drivers and dispatch was very different. Better telephone customer service should be taught. A friendlier voice and attitude certainly would have been nice.

A fantastic Saturday night. Great food and camping. Shuttle was on time. Showers were warm. And we won on slots.

Our room was dirty, dust bunny hanging from the ceiling, there was a room service tray outside one of the rooms in our hall the entire weekend and there was left over food on it. We watched staff walk past the tray and ignore it. The hair dryer in our room had hair hanging from it and the wall mount was caked with dust & dirt. Our room had a funky odor, very unhappy

It was too smoky for me. I think maybe a better hvac system would help. Or more fans

Lots of fun. Most importantly t;house with this Pandemic they have all the tools to keep their patrons safe: temperature checks at door before entry, masks required, No smoking, eating or drinking while walking, every other machine disabled and used machines disinfected after use. Safest place I've seen :)

My first time going here. Was really nice. The staff here was AMAZING! There were a lot of them out on the floor, asking if you need any help or a beverage etc. Very clean and a large non smoking area. A lot of slots, table games and keno. Nice places to eat and a hotel on site. Family oriented as they have bowling alley and arcade too!

Run-down and in need of major upgrades. The entire place reeks of old cigarettes, including the 'non-smoking' rooms. You can't get away from it if you're anywhere inside the building. The odor is so strong you get blasted with it just walking up to the front door. Most of the staff was friendly, however. I would not recommend bringing minors into this establishment, or anyone with asthma-related issues.

The drinks tasted good but were a little expensive. The live music sounded great, but made it hard to have a conversation with the people at my table without shouting.

A place to try your luck on a game. In eastern oregon, sweet

When traveling, it is a great place to stop and take a walk and get a meal. They are remodeling, and soon will have other non-gaming activities.

It would have been very great but the cigarette smoke was very overwhelming even where are party was. You could not get away from it. That cannot be good for anyone's health

Good place to kick back and relax! Love the pool and buffet!

I was very disappointed. First of all we got a room on the second floor, non-smoking. The room was sprayed with a very heavy vanilla sent to cover the smell of smoke. The hallway to the room and the room itself smelled of smoke and not a little bit.
The top cover on the bed had some sort of mystery stain and it just made me cringe the whole time I was in my room.
The hotel and rooms seemed very outdated. The beds where uncomfortable and the pillows where lumpy.
Overall, I would not recommend this as a hotel and especially not for the price!

The casino was the busiest casino I have ever been to. It was really nice. The sports bar was also very nice. The customer service was top notch. I will definitely be going back.

This is a great place. It has comfortable rooms, lots of entertainment, excellent service, fantastic food.

I am not impressed at all and was more expensive than other hotels around. We checked in Friday and the front desk was nice and clean. Then we got to our room, it seemed clean at first then we started looking at it. The beds we so firm that we tossed and turned all night. Behind the coffee cups was crumbs. Tv worked but had very little channels but we bought one while we were vacationing. There was dust and crumbs on the bed side tables. Pool was disgusting, I am 5 ft tall and couldn't see my feet at the bottom of the pool. It had so much chlorine that my eyes started burning and the scum around the pool was black, hot tub was equally the same but the pressure was great. Windows in the pool area had so many water spots, muck and dirt on the Inside of the windows you could hardly see out. There was hair clumps by the stairs to get in the pool. We also had family in the RV park so we visited that pool as well, it was much cleaner and could see to the bottom but the scum around the pool was black. But the grounds were taking care of.

Always enjoy the slots. I tried something new ... 3 card poker Funtastic game!!!! Helpful staff all around wonderful experience as always!

I just went for the table games. Friendly dealers how are helpful. And all the free Mountain Dew I can drink!

Bummer theres no sports book, and there was no drinks offered for gamblers... otherwise it was a good time!

Nice place with good rooms. We even got a break on Tuesday because were over 60. Bingo was closed and that was a bummer, but the tables and the slots managed to take our money with no difficulty. Contributed to the tribal welfare fund quite a lot.
Food was good, especially the grill. They also give a senior discount there and in the buffet. Would have been more fun if we had won some money.

Great place. On the way to the oregon coast from idaho. Took in 100 and came out with 500. Paid for our hotel and dinner for the night in hoodriver. Have to say the experince was a good one. Will try my luck one the way home. The environment was great even with the covid protocols and social distancing in place. Lots of slots and table games. Will be back

Don't go here, the reviews are not great or bad but I can tell you right now we fell for it.... The slots are suuuuuuper old...the floor is uneven... The rooms smell and have super stiff springy beds....

I just liked that I did not win but I had a lot of fun

We ate dinner at the traditions buffet on Italian night and greatly enjoyed the food and service. The casino has excellent restaurants and I would highly recommend.

We watched bumblebee the movie was fantastic and the theater was spotless
