Spirit of Endeavour Review

Spirit of endeavour staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean and had an adult only dining which was nice. The food was good for its value.

Quiz night is good fun. Food was ok. The roast was nice. It's changed hands recently and has a new menu. Breakfast (unlimited) is good value. Plates aren't always washed well but they will get more for you. Staff usually quite helpful

Really e noted put meal this evening. 3 of us and no complaints from any if us. It was lovely

Had breakfast here. Very cheap all you can eat. The price covered the coffee that was drunk. The breakfast was certainly not bad, but I had better breakfast in England.

A large restaurant catering for a large range of ages.
Alongside some tables inside there are plastic games on the wall for children to enjoy.
There is a large purpose built play area alongside the pub.
A wide choice of dishes on the menu.

Absolutely terrible! Got most of the order wrong more than once! Ended up ruining our evening, never again!!!!

Hadn't been for long time as quality went down hill, but recently Aug 2019 had a lovely meal excellent!

Not been for a while, but now it's been refurbished its excellent. Good food and friendly staff. My husband is a regular customer for the breakfast when he is working in Boston usually 2 days a week.

Food is great the staff are also great the atmosphere makes you want to stay

Food came out luke warm, I had the hunters chicken came on a bed of nearly raw onions! Yuck! Chicken was like chewing sawdust, think I'll get some food on the way home

Food was lovely and well portioned. Has an adult section for those who prefer not to sit around children and families, though it is more of an after thought than a design, not being as separate as one might hope. Some clientele can make the pub less than desirable to visit depending in your preference

Staff friendly enough but after not having much choice of food left I had to have sirloin which came with a mushroom and onions BUT it came out on a sizzling plate which made it feel like I was eating charcoal. Not nice at all shall not be going back .

Food is of average quality at best and the decor could do with a good scrub. If you want sides such as coleslaw it's extra when other places include it. I only went there as I had a voucher and will not be returning.

I've eaten here every two weeks since beginning of December and always enjoyed it and even brought my wife for special meals but today it was very disappointing will be trying somewhere else next time

been for a lovely meal at spirit endeavour today with my parents and sister the meal was very nice cooked beautiful the staff are very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend for people to come

Had a carvery today was absolutely beautiful. Quick service and well organised even thou place was busy.

Better than it was. Food improved. 3 and a half at a push. It is what it is- a chain pub with no home cooking. Try Goodbarns, the Mill or the Ballhouse instead.

First time in the area. Very nice place to eat and drink.

Terrible experience, the food was poor quality and only lukewarm.The chef obviously doesn't care as even the gravy granuals were lumpy. Nobody came to see if everything was ok which is probably just as well. Having been before on several occasions it has gone down hill. We will not be returming.

Once again a fantastic meal and very friendly staff and a good welcome.

Nice place, but the food could be a lot better,I had Chicken 'N' Ribs the chicken was tasteless & so called half a rack of ribs must have been off a rabbit it was that small.My girlfriend had steak it was full of fat,my mother in law asked for lasagne that came in a little bowl plunked on a plate with a so called salad1 slice of cucumber 1 tomatoes & wilted lettuce.The father in law had fish & chips, 8 chips to be exact.Had to ask for more chips which the waitress obliged.we paid good money & understand that places have to make a profit,food needs to be a bit better & a bit more on the plate for customers.

Took my son whom had Autism to fuzzyheads play area. Staff very rude and abrupt.

Lovely food, just wish they would clear the tables more often.

When we arrived there was a sign on the door saying they had run out of steaks due to high demand but after we ordered it came to light that they had also run out of prawn crackers and squirty cream. It's down to bad management and a shame because the food we had was good

Stopped here for a coffee on the way home. You get a mug after paying and get your own from the machine like Wetherspoons. There was nothing to say whether it was refillable or not though which would have been helpful. The pub itself was ok, but a little tired.
