I love Speedway, but there has been a probably at each of my three visits. Poor quality product that needed to be replaced. Wrong product in next order. Inordinate amount of time to exchange wrong product in the last visit.
RVers must stop. Just use two spaces. Long walk to the museum. You pass it otw in. A racecar is parked outside. Don't plan to take too many pictures during the tour because it is a long one. Take them afterward. Ask if they can leave you at the old time cafe display when you finish that area, or you have to travel all the way back again for pictures. This tour is great for kids too.
Customer service is terrible. There radiators leak out of the box. There parts quality is terrible. Go on over to summit and get yourself better parts at better prices.
Since I am located in NE I love being able to use their walk in counter to get my parts in person. Its always nice to be able to touch the parts to ensure they are what you want before leaving with them.
I've been in multiple times and every time I walk in I get glared at by at least 2 employees. They sigh and act like it's such a big deal when I tell them what I need exactly. Like sorry for making you do your job. The only way you will get good service from these people is if you're over 60 and spend a bunch of money religiously there. I don't even want to spend a dollar there with the poor poor service I receive constantly. I don't recommend going there if you don't know exactly what you need (a.e proper fitting to match a thread pattern) cause if you ask them to help it's a big deal and they won't get you the right part. Just be prepared to be treated poorly when you visit this establishment if you are under the age of 60.

This place sells junk. Bought a third member that must have been put together by ray charles. Vibration and noise from the start.
Local speed shop founded in Lincoln in 1952. Awesome place for automotive parts and supplies. They've got it all -- race, muscle, street, hotrods, trucks. But the real special part is their call center. If you're ever wondering how to stick something on your car or need help finding the right thing, they have specialists who can help you. Most of them race or have something they work on themselves and have been at Speedway for like 10+ years.

I hit corner 1 around 65-70. Bashed the wall;head on .destroyed the car ..the zamp helments are very good ..hit my head somwhere..spit some teeth out ..g-force harness is good also .all your safety equip. Is very good ...worth the money ..
This company won't talk to you until you have a number, No Customer number, no help, They have an Obnoxious receptionist who intercepts all calls to make sure you have a number, if U don't, she will Extract allot of personal information before you are allowed to talk to a sales agent. Won't even confirm the availability of the parts first, Name Rank, Credit score and serial number.
Busy on weekends, great parts and help, but not the cheapest.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit. Neuther one of us is especially interested in cars or racing but it was still interesting. We took a decent tour which was very informative. We spent about 3 hours there.

Great museum. You may need 3 hours or so to visit it is so big.
I ve had nothing but problems with Speedway 59-64 Impala 4 Wheel Power Disc Brake Conv. Kit, D/S Rotors kit from the first day I was sent a faulty master cylinder and brake booster when I called to see if they would exchange the booster I was told I would get a call right back it s been eight weeks and I m still waiting on a call I had to purchase another booster and master cylinder I had to take it to the break shop to be bled twice now on the way to work today I almost wrecked my car due to a faulty brake line separating from the fitting I just called them to let them know about the kit and I was placed on hold then they hung up on me I will recommend not to purchase this kit or anything else from speedway motors I spend my hard earned money on something that almost cost my life I m sure when I call back they re not gonna do anything to resolve the matter they ll probably tell me they ll call me back and never do
No speedway store front. Awesome automotive museum. Spent 3 hours need to go back to see the rest of it. Plan a full day if you like automotive history.

As a first time customer, they left a total bad impression as a company. Coupon is useless, and does not state which brands I cannot use coupon online. I called their customer service over the phone and no one knew the answer, I kept getting transferred back and forth, and no one had an answer.
When I saw the price of admission it didn't seem like such a good idea anymore. We just left.
Have always had excellent service and are always there with good advice.
This place is just wow!!! It is amazing we have this resource so close to Omaha!! Now you also have the option to buy online and pick up at the warehouse. I have saved a ton in shipping and got some great coupons to boot! When you go to the parts counter they treat you like you are the only person around and delivery legendary Service!!! You can not go wrong here!

This company sells people stuff that doesnt work and they only refund to parts that work they dont warranty nothing if it doesnt work than you lost your money. Dont get ripped off.
Ordered autometer gauges on 12/18 and today is 2/26 and still cannot get my gauges. Speedway and autometer both say best case scenario is middle of march before they even start to build them. Neither care or are willing to help. If you are building a hotrod like me I hope you aren't in a hurry
ordered parts but got stuck with USPS. They did a great job of trying to reconcile initially but stopped responding after 14 days. now 18 days no response. Won't likely buy from again.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem in Lincoln.... Lived here for 5 years and just happened to drive by this hard to notice building while I was lost, took some visiting family there and we were blown away. Took us about 4 hours to get through at a leisurely pace so if you go on Saturday I recommend arriving early as they close at 1. I will be visiting at least once a year as the artifacts on display do change regularly

Hi, No complaints about the prices, most of my 1940 Chevrolet streetrod parts are from Speedy Bills. I won the heavy hauler award at a good guys event in Puyallup some years back and I owe it to Speedways quality parts and imformed salespeople. Now that the person who always said no to my purchases is cleaning ducks somewhere in Washington , I am going to really get serious about this American hobby . Being single sucks but I can't live without my horsepower , by the way honey the dog doesn't snore and he loves ridin shotgun. Ordered parts on Monday was promised parts by friday , they got there catalogs to me on time but the parts want be here till the following Monday 4 days late, Want order a bolt from these guys again.

Ordered an item on Amazon and literally within 2 minutes I canceled as they offered a larger unit which left more of a margin for error and it didn't show up under their silly "filter" options
The company did not check their email for nearly 2 days and no response, then they printed a label nearly 30 hours after my email and cancellation request. I even called 8 hours before they printed the label and still was ignored.
Considering the fact that I ordered the replacement from them right away in stead of waiting, I've decided to just return the replacement too after this nonsense. 2 hours of "wait time" and the company has terrible communication problems. Had 1 email from them the entire time and no calls back. I had to call back every time. I guess this company is so big they don't mind losing an $ 800 sale. Will never buy anything from them again.
I work at Speedway Motors and this is the best job I've ever had! The people here are great, and the Smith family really cares about their employees and customers. I recommend this company to do business with or to work for. And the Museum of American Speed is AMAZING!!!

Spent almost $4000.00 dollars in one purchase. Had major problem with main item, their tech people knew nothing, so they passed the buck on me and they referred me to a vendor. Well that was a dead end as he said they shouldn t have given me his number. Speedway customer service told me they would get it figured out and definitely would call me back. Well.....I solved the problem myself through the part manufacturer. Speedway NEVER called me back!!

Ordered a camshaft and lifter set that their website indicated was in stock and would ship in 10 days, took 3 months to receive after 4 separate emails asking for any info on where my order was. Also ordered a remote oil filter kit, they made sure to machine "speedway" on it but didn't thread all the ports. I would give them zero stars if I could, buy from Jegs or Summit, don't give Speedway a chance to take your money and send you garbage (if they even send you anything at all)!

Waited an hour to place curbside parts order in there parkinglot..got hung up on and never was able to talk to anyone else over the phone again...talked to the parts delivery people bringing parts to cars around us, they said they called in same number with no problem. They still couldn't help...on to Denver I guess...placed alotta orders and never a problem in past..I'll think twice next time...lmao

Sure is funny that they won't post my bad review on their web page reviews. I've sent it in about 5 times with pictures of the awful headers they sold me, but they won't post it. I think they only post a small percentage of negative reviews but all the good reviews. I've even sent them messages asking if my review was turned down for a certain reason, and I got no reply. Hmm?
