Some co-workers and I went after work on a Thursday and had a great time. The shoe counter was organized and fast. I remember the struggle of entering the players names into those tiny computers at the end of the lanes, but you avoid all of that because the staff takes care of it for you. I liked that feature. I got a burger, the smoke house blue, and it was delicious. Tasted like it came right off the grill and the homemade chips were yummy. Everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed it.

Well what a great idea; however, poor experience. Very disorganized from the start...online lane reservation system, check in at the bowling desk, to service at the bar tables, on the whole a lousy experience. Heck only been here 30 minutes on 9/28/12. What a shame.
I called to make a reservation for my wife's birthday and they stated that they do not teke reservations unless you book a party on line. I went on-line and filled out a resservation/party request and was told a sales/party coordiantor would contact me. They never did. The only option at that point was to show up and wait for an available lane. This is really a poor quality of service and a terrible way to handle new business because the very first experience usually dictates the overall experience. They will have to work twice as hard once you arrive, if you do at all, to overcome the crappy first contact.
If there was a zero star rating that would be generous. My spouse and I went with a social group for dinner and bowling last night. When we arrived at 7pm the place was fairly deserted and we were seated near the bar. The bartender was our server. He had no assistance until the food started to come out. There was no designation of who ordered what food so delivery of the food was very chaotic. The bar started to get busy so drink refills were scarce and no one checked to make sure everything was OK. When the checks were delivered the credit cards and cash was taken quickly, but then the bar got busy and our tickets were ignored. After about 15 minutes the manager went to the bar to assist, not in processing our tickets, but to serve bar customers. Now we have a large group of people waiting to spend more money on bowling, but we can't start until we "cash out" our dinner checks. After 20 minutes my spouse pointed out the problem to the manager and was told we would have to wait because the bar was busy. REALLY??? After about 30 minutes we finally were able to cash out and move on to bowling. About an hour later one of the members of our party handed us a card for a free game of bowling. Someone delivered these cards to our party for what I suppose was an apology for our wait. Never did the manager address our group or individuals to my knowledge, when my spouse tried to talk to the manager he was dismissive and rude. I was looking forward to this as a fun event, but after consuming mediocre food, having disorganized and lacking service and rude treatment by management, we WON'T be going back or recommending Sparins to anyone we know!!
went saturday. service was as bad as it gets. Waited 2.5hrs to bowl. Total experience took FOUR hours and bowled 1 game. A friend went on Sunday, they waited 3.5hrs to bowl and never got a lane.
We always have a blast at Sparians. My company holds lots of parties here - events for the business and our holiday parties. The catering is good, the bar is good, the bowling aplenty, and we can play whatever music we'd like! Cleanest bowling alley I've ever been in.
Recently held a client appreciation event in the private suites at Sparians. Everything went off exactly as planned. The staff was incredibly accommodating for our rather high maintenance group, and we have received several compliments on the organization of the event, food, and facilities. I would highly recommend this venue for your private events!
This place has gone downhill under new management. There is no live music anymore. They got rid of the video games and inexplicably put a ping pong table right next to the bar. Yes, ping pong balls flying across the bar, landing in your food, hitting the bartenders, rolling under your chair, it's insane. I usually sit at the bar because every time i sit at a table I end up waiting 20-30 minutes to get my food. The wait staff is clueless. No one seems to know who is covering which area. Not as nice as it used to be.
We had a group outing to Sparians and I was very impressed by the whole establishment! The food was great and we had a fantastic time bowling! I will surely be going back to Sparians.
Service was very slow for drinks and for food. Novel idea of boutique bowling alley. Pricey for the lanes. I could almost swear that the lanes arent even level.
Not sure how you are supposed to get a lane. They don't take reservations and the lady at the counter is completely worthless. I guess they just expect you to show up and wait, Horrible experience
