I had my procedure done in 2009 and I needed some records and the office helped me to get the info even though it s been over the 7 years of having to keep records. I am also beyond happy with the procedure even after 11 plus years! The Drs and staff are amazing here! I wouldn t trust many other plastic surgeons with my body!

I spent 4 years going to consultations with a handful of doctors and was referred to Dr. Miguel by a DMC ER Doctor. I walked into the office upstairs and asked for some information. Donna was very nice and fit me in with a consultation within a week. My consultation with Dr. Miguel was AMAZING. He was professional yet approachable (something you cannot say about many surgeons who have had years of training and, I feel, detach from us normal folk). He used all his medical terminology but broke down each one in layman s terms. What I noticed with him is that he listens to everything you are asking for and breaks down each want into realistic possibilities. He is so passionate about what he does! He tells you what can be achieved and much more. My goal was to make my ethnic bulbous tip smaller but still round, straighten the bump on the bridge, fix my deviated septum and a few other small things that were bothersome. He is the only surgeon that pointed out that the muscle over my lip was pulling my nose down while talking and smiling. By releasing this muscle I was able to get the space between my nose and lip without the upturned look. He was able to do all that I wanted and he also fixed the other few things he suggested. I still look like me but enhanced! It s a month out now and I am in love with my nose. It s so natural!! My friends and family can t even believe that it was done. They definitely see the difference but are only used to seeing noses that are pinched and upturned and their comments always include how natural the nose was done. I am so happy with the results and it s only one month out! It will only get better! I got the flu two weeks later and Dr. Miguel rushed to the phone when I called and answered all my questions, he even took the time (this was during his lunch by the way) to ask how my boyfriend was doing (by name) and encouraged me to call or come in if I have any questions or concerns at all. I opted for the in-suite surgical unit instead of hospital and everything went perfect. Their staff is attentive and welcoming. They know you are paying for the experience as well. Rio is so sweet and professional, she posted my surgery and check ups (with my go ahead) on social media and she also answered some pretty dumb questions I had with a smile and let s me know I m not the only one with those questions. I cannot express enough how Dr. Miguel s bedside manner encouraged me to decide on having him be my surgeon. The guy just LOVES what he does and you feel excited instead of nervous. I m sure no ones reading anymore but please research who you are going to and choose the surgeon that gives you the feeling that Dr. Miguel and his staff gave me. That s what s most important. Also, Office is clean, I ve called after hours and was given a return call right away, staff and doctor always answer all questions with a smile (no matter how annoying I was being) :) GO TO DR. MIGUEL!
I can not say enough about how wonderful Dr. Stefani is. I have been a patient for many years. 3 years ago I underwent a double mastectomy and even my Oncologist said that Dr. Stefani is an artist. It is hard to tell that I had the surgery and my breast are beautiful. I also have injections / Botox and I am always pleased with the out come. I highly recommend Spa Renaissance and Dr. Stefani.
I have had nothing but issues since day one. I would have expected that this business/spa would have a higher quality of customer service. I was gifted gift cards from family for my bridal shower and it took well over 2 weeks and a run-around with the staff to receive them. After multiple phone calls and speaking with the manager, my Aunt had to personally call to reconfirm purchase when she originally had purchased them in-person. I finally received the cards and an additional $50 gift card for my inconvenience. When I booked my massage, it was began 20 minutes past my appointment time and ended within less than an hour. The masseuse was kind but most of the staff was unwelcoming. When I went to go pay for services, the receptionist took both of my gift cards and provided me with low remaining balance than what I should have received. I had to be reissued yet another gift card for the balance I should have had. Thereafter I booked my husbands mani and pedi in which that was canceled less than 24 hours beforehand. I again I had greater expectations than what this company markets to have.

Dr. Miguel is amazing! I ve been Contemplating getting a rhinoplasty ever since I was a teenager and I had a deviated septum but was nervous. Dr. Miguel made feel very comfortable during my consultation and surgery. He explained everything very well and was able to answer all my questions. I was able to tell from the initial consultation that he s really passionate about his work. The day of surgery he was very caring and comforting. Recovery is about a week long and minor face bruising can be covered with Makeup. Dr. Miguel did an amazing job making my nose look refined and natural with my face. The results are amazing and I m very happy!

Dr. Stefani has an A+ bedside manner. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. I had exactly the results he told me I would have. Maybe even better.
I had a tummy tuck, liposuction of my hips/flanks and tummy, a fat graft on my legs (due to Dr.Roche s mistakes) and fat graft to my tummy in 1 spot. Again due to Dr. Roche oversculpting.
Every appointment I had was a great experience.
I am back now to have a little more work done. Not due to his negligence. Just due to my obsession for perfection.

With my only daughters wedding approaching in December I decided to look into plastic surgery. Dr. George Miguel was recommended to me by my dermatologist in Clarkston and after reading reviews and looking at pictures of surgeries he's done I made the decision to go with Dr. Miguel. At the initial appointment he made me feel at ease, addressing my concerns. I was pretty anxious about going through with the surgery. He actually met with me a second time and reassured me that I was in good hands. Well, three months ago I had surgery on my upper eyelids to correct my droopy lids and a neck lift including liposuction under my chin to remove excess fat and loose skin. By the time I had it done there was only two months before the wedding, but I felt great about having my picture taken and not placing my hand under my chin or craning my neck to try to hide. I get compliments often about looking great. I look very natural. You would never guess I had any surgery. Dr. Miguel personally called more than once to make sure I was healing well and to answer any questions. He is caring, compassionate and a skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend him if you are considering having a procedure done.

Take your business to Spa Renaissance! I came to here for a cosmetic rhinoplasty done by Dr. George Miguel. Dr. Miguel is outstanding in his field of work, especially for such a young surgeon! I showed him a picture I photoshopped myself of how I wanted my nose to look, and to my surprise Dr. Miguel made it the exact way I imagined. I was and still am so impressed with his work. He is also very informative during the consultation, even if you ve done your homework like I did, he will still walk you through the procedure and educate you. Not to mention he is overall such a kind-spirited person, I was so nervous the day of my procedure but he made me feel like I was in such good hands. The entire staff at Spa Renaissance are very lovely people. They truly care about their patients and they all made my rhinoplasty experience wonderful from the start. I m now a week and a half post op, even swollen my nose looks amazing and I m getting so many compliments. Dr Williams did my reconstruction from my double mastectomy. His attention to detail and desire to make me happy was off the charts. I am thrilled with my results and his staff is very kind. It was a very positive experience. Which is saying alot for why I was there. I recommend his talents to everyone.

I've never written a review before; however, I regrettably have a negative one here.
My intention is to prepare future clients and hopefully enlighten the stylist Kathy Partin who left me more than disappointed.
With over 30 years experience in the industry Kathy Partin knows what she is doing. Unfortunately, she spent more time talking about her vast experience than listening to me the client and what I hired her to do. I've worked in salons and have over 30 years experience in the beauty industry. In a nutshell she was tasked to make a simple correction at my roots 20 minute process and add a deep conditioner.
I ended up with my blonde highlights (the color I just achieved a few days prior)turned into a dull beige, ash color . She basically took it upon herself to decide what color it should be. I mentioned it to her immediately after she finished and she denied adding color. I knew exactly what she did
and could tell her assistant did too.
After 2 days of frustration knowing I could not easily correct this, (over processing already stressed hair) ,. I called, expressed my frustration and asked to speak with Kathy Partin. Not available, NO call back, not a word. For a prior business owner I was shocked.
If your find yourself in Kathy Partins chair don't assume she is listening to you. Be very clear and speak over her sales pitch. Sorry Kathy but as a professional myself the first thing you need to learn is to listen to you clients. After 15+ years of letting the sun naturally lighten my hair I decided to go as far blonde as possible w/o complete damage. You now took years of care and thought and undid it in one sitting.
I am so thankful that I was referred to Dr. Miguel to correct my breathing problems! Prior to my surgery with Dr. Miguel, I'd had 3 septorhinoplasty operations due to breaking my nose in sports and a car accident. Over the years, what was left of the cartilage in my nose had migrated and my nose started collapsing. This caused me to have sleep apnea and extremely limited my ability to workout/participate in sports without wearing a breathe-right strip. Dr. Miguel placed a "permanent strip" inside my nose and did a turbinate reduction... And I can breathe again! Dr. Miguel and his staff are professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable- I would highly recommend him.
Besides an an unforeseen allergy to the glue that held my soft cast on (mastisol), the surgery with Dr. Miguel was by far the most effective and easiest recovery of all 4 that I've had. I was concerned going into a 4th surgery that I'd come out looking like I'd had way too many nose jobs, but my fears were put to rest when I saw the results. Dr. Miguel is an artist in his field!
In addition to being pleased with Dr. Miguel, I've started seeing Maureen who works in aesthetics. I've been very pleased so far and will update when there's more to add.
Edit 11/8/18: I've been to Maureen a handful of times now and have nothing but praise for her work. She LISTENS to what your concerns are and uses both those and her extensive experience to come up with suggestions on how to best achieve what you're looking for. Maureen takes time to do things precisely and pays attention to detail.
I naturally have lines underneath my eyes that no injector has been able to remove in such a noticeable way as her. You're in good hands when you're with Maureen!
I go here for facial injections. Maureen is the absolute best. She will give you suggestions but us not pushy. I am terrified of needles and she works well with me and is patient. If you are considering getting fillers definitely go see her!!
I called to see what services they had available regarding light therapy, and the women at the front desk was one of the rudest encounters I have ever had. She was completely unable to provide me with straight answers, and decided that telling me the procedure costs upwards of $800, instead of answering my questions. She probably thought telling me that cost would end the phone call, and assumed i was unable to afford the procedure. Unfortunately for them I was ready to sign up at any cost, and they just lost a good paying customer.
Been a patient many times over the years and ALWAYS satisfied with

Dr. Miguel is seriously the best! He is super patient, even with lots and lots of questions. He also did a wonderful job- I can breathe freely now (!!!), and have a nose that better suits my face. From start to finish, Dr. Miguel has made himself available and is always open to answering all questions and concerns. He has a great eye for what will look natural on people's faces, and has a large number of pictures to prove it.

Satisfied rhino-septoplasty patient! Dr. George Miguel was referred to me by a highly-regarded professional in the business, and he has exceeded my expectations at this point. I consulted with Dr. Miguel after my son's head bumped my nose and broke it. At our initial meeting Dr. Miguel was attentive and wanted to know what my concerns were. He asked questions along the way to clarify my desires, and then indicated what he would do to achieve that. Then, he additionally proposed some slight alterations that would improve the overall aesthetic of my nose, but would not alter the pricing. I appreciated that he was offering to give me the most for my money, as opposed to doing the minimum in the OR, and moving onto another patient quickly. Dr. Miguel reiterated a few times during the consult that his approach to plastics was conservative. This was important to me because I still wanted "my nose, but softened up a bit." The issue I had with my nose after my son broke it was it looked flattened/wider at distal bridge, and it was crooked. When Dr. Miguel examined me, he also found that I was very deviated on the left side...after surgery I realized it had been that way since birth because I had never been able to breathe as well as I do now. After the first consultation, Dr. Miguel emailed me renderings of what would be done to my nose. His communication was open, informative, and he was very patient. I preferred to have my surgery done at Troy Beaumont, instead of the on-site suite and he was happy to comply. I am 6 weeks post-op and I am pleased with my follow-up care, and the results so far. Dr. Miguel has a professional, yet approachable bedside manner. He has an ease that makes communicating a breeze! I am grateful that I chose Dr. Miguel over the other two surgeons I consulted with. My experience has been positive and I highly recommend him.
The inside is beautiful and the idea and concept are genius. The products they carry are exclusive and high end. The staff was extremely friendly. The salon/spa are is slow and empty. I was extremely excited to be invited to do a series of interviews. They seem well organized and selective about who they were interested in hiring. The first two interviews went smooth, the managers welcoming and comforting. My third interview, I left with my jaw on the floor. I met with the owner, a woman, who was cold and uninviting. Right off the bat she asked me why I had worked at so many salons. Three? In a thirteen year career she thinks three salons are a lot? Then proceeded to tell me she has had a revolving door. She asked me why I moved back. I said I have a two year old daughter and that I wanted to be closer to family. She asked where my husband was from and since he is from Chicago she seemed less interested in speaking with me. She then asked if I wanted to have more children. Is that even a legal question? Can I not have more children and work? She proceeded to tell me that being a mom was not a 24 hour a day job. Um? Yes, actually it is. After her rude and disrespectful comment she continued to call people lazy who do not work 5 days a week. Wow. Ok. Then asked me if I would have to pick my daughter up from daycare. The hours on the salon doors say they close at 5 and 3. However they are open until 8. She also told me that they don't need the spa and salon. That they plastic surgeons make enough money. So she doesn't care if they don't fill the chairs at the salon. I was insulted and offended by the end of the interview. To make the entire interview more uncomfortable the comment that she continued to say over and over is that I could go work at lady janes or other chain salons. I am looking for a career as well as being a mother. I can do both. Because I do not want nor can I work 8-8, I am lazy?? This lady needs to get a clue. Firstly, I am a mother, and a great mother with an amazing little girl. I am far from lazy. I will find a career at a salon and still be an amazing mother and hair stylist and will grow with a company who lets me do both. I think the best comment of the interview was when I asked why a male model was asked to be brought in. The answer was the men's hair is harder, which, I actually agree with, but then proceeded to say that most women have long hair and that if a stylist messes it up its easier to hide. My personal experience and advice, do not get your hair cut here because they believe that if you are a woman you can hide mistakes and if you wish to work here you better not have a family or a life besides this salon that has a reputation "above and beyond all the rest". Lady, check your yelp reviews and the revolving door that you say you have had the past three years, stylist talk.

Kathy Partin is THE Hair Goddess! I have been a client of Kathy's for over a decade. Before I met her, I would complain endlessly about how I could not get my hair to look the way I wanted. My husband would roll his eyes daily at my rants. Then I met Kathy. For the first time, my hair was cut perfectly and wahlah, no more rants! She understands hair and its individuality and knows exactly how to work with it. Her expertise is unmatched, and my husband has a new best friend :)
Clean, modern just an all around great experience. I have been getting regular facials for 15 years now. I use to pay $140 when I lived in Florida and it wasn't as good as the facials I get here for only $80.
If you're black, and or young, i suggest you don't go. They're somewhat nice, but it's just to cover ALL their prejudice. I went in for a consultation and I saw the doctor, which he wasn't even going to touch me or examine the areas (for liposuction, tummy tuck, cool sculpting), until I mentioned my significant weight lost and wanted to find the best route to go. It took us going over and over the same conversation until he finally decided to touch me! Then at the desk, after the appointment, his cards was all gone, so he gave me someone's card and just put his name on it. A doctor whose surgery charge is $3000 PLUS, I would think he would make sure any potential clients, will be able to contact him! And the Secretaries didn't even really want to give me the prices. So racist and unprofessional. I didn't even receive a print out for the prices and services. Because I'm young and BLACK they thought I couldn't afford $9600+ for the whole thing.. Little did they know that this young 30 year old and BLACK woman HAVE $20,000 to do as I please! Their lost!
First off, I d like to say that the service was great and very welcoming. George Miguel was the one who did work on me & I couldn t have been happier. Like anyone who is considering plastic surgery, you re very cautious about who you choose to operate on you. So, like anyone I did my research & stumbled upon Miguel. I was really nervous but Miguel assured me that he will do the best he can. What I love about Dr. Miguel is that he took his time & was persistent. He provided me with before pictures & he made the entire consultation very smoothly & comforting. If you re considering plastic surgery & you re unsure, I am here to tell you that Dr. Miguel is someone I would recommend.
I'm new to the area/state and had to find an amazing salon. Not only did I find amazing I had such an amazing stylist.
I was referred to this place after receiving a referral from my dermatologist who said I had an abnormal mole that she suggested I have removed. I filled out some paperwork and sat with a guy for maybe 5 minutes max who said it would take 5 minutes to remove the mole. He then stated they'd provide me with a quote for the procedure. I have BCBS insurance and they said it would be around $500 to have it removed "cosmetically" and even more expensive through my insurance. I left concerned and upset. I decided to get a 2nd opinion so I want to another dermatologist who removed it FOR FREE with a $10 copay. Renaissance then proceeds to send me a bill for a $150.00 "new patient fee" despite providing literally no service at all. Total ripoff and waste of time.
I got a hair cut here in August and December and loved it! The waiting room was cosy, and the service was prompt. My stylist was personable and kind, and gave me a really nice hair cut & style. It was kinda pricey ($50), but I think it was worth it. I look forward to my visits with him and his creativity. The receptionists are professional and friendly.
Dr. Miguel is nothing short of amazing. My daughter suffered serious trauma to her face and he did a phenomenal job repairing her injuries. We will forever be grateful for not only his immense skill, but also his calm and kind demeanor. The staff at Beaumont raved about him and it s easy to understand why. He makes himself available, and never hesitates to answer a question. He truly is remarkable and words can t express our thanks.

My two favorite providers at Spa Renaissance are Alyssa and Becky! Alyssa is a truly amazing esthetician who has been taking care of my skin for the past 3 years. She is honest, knowledgeable and very sweet ! I love using the Spa products for my skin care, knowing they are linked to a plastic surgery center and of good quality. Becky is my favorite massage therapist, and the best I have ever met. She helped relieved my sciatic and neck pain that I had been struggling with for over a year. I tried everything.. two different chiropractors, heat therapy, physical therapy.. nothing gave me a lasting result until I met Becky. Now, I am pain free !!
The only downside to the spa is that they seem to have a lot of turn-over of their employees. So something must be happening internally.... Thankfully, I haven't lost my favorite people. -Jaclyn
