I have been using the center for a few years now and have had reliable experiences with all medical personnel there. In addition, I have found the center staff to be very understanding and kind. Last Saturday I turned up early to see whether I could be seen last minute for an acute skin rash, and the woman who greeted me at the front desk (with a very sunny attitude) had me scheduled to be seen within 10 minutes! Everyone who assisted me that day was wonderful and just now I had a very warm conversation with an administrator who took my new insurance information. The whole place feels friendly and neighborly-perfect healthcare setting!

My daughter is an infant and a new patient. The administrative staff are professional and friendly. The pediatrician sand nurses are gentle and informative. I've always been seen either early or on time. The waiting room is usually pretty quiet even when there are multiple families waiting.

The health center is convenient if you live in JP, but somewhat hard to get to from anywhere else because of the traffic and lack of parking nearby. Doctors here have been friendly and competent, but much of the staff have been indifferent to rude in my few visits, and between the two, i have finally switched care providers. Also, Partners (the parent organization) apparently has a shortage of PCP's because I was not able to find another doctor in Boston proper when I called to ask for a more accessible location.

My mother went into the health center today to pick up a letter my sons doctor left for his school. Apparently the entire building was on lunch at the same time. My mother was asked to sit and wait 45 minutes for a letter that my sons doctor had left in the front desk of the family med department. My mother asked 2 different employees if they could help her, and none apparently could because the department was "closed". ONE doctor who noticed that my mother seemed in need of help, asked if she could help her with anything. of coarse when she tried to look for the letter, it was no where to be found. AGAIN, my mother was told by the gentlemen in the front desk the entrance stated that she "had to wait". Other employees where sitting back engaging in conversations, drinking coffee, never bothered to even take 2 mins and help my mother get the letter my son needed for school. This is a perfect example of terrible customer service and should be used in one of those clips company used to demonstrate awful service ESPECIALLY in a health care facility. SJPHC I never expected this from you.

Love this clinic . I ve been coming here since I was 9 years old . I am 29 and I love that my daughter now sees my pediatrician that I used to see . Barbara Sisson she is amazing . I see Dr Siller my self and she is amazing as well . The obgyn Lara was super nice and informative and so supportive through my pregnancy and delivery . The front desk staff are all so friendly professional and so helpful all the time . I truly recommend this clinic to others and I wouldn t go any where else !

Hahaha, turns out the women had left for the day already. And our hour wait was happily in vain. Gotta love this place.
The receptionist doesnt seem to know anything about when the financial women my family deals with is in, whenever ny father calls to ask, she would patch him to her desk, getting no answer and he would leave voicemails for her to get back to him. Of course. No one calls back. But today 3/19 told us she was going to be in today, so here we are, over a hour waiting for said financial support women to come back from her supposed lunch. I do prefer if the Heath connector goes off and gets replaced by a system that actually works. :) but those are just my thoughts.

I have been going to this clinic for 26 years and I am truly disappointed in what it has become. It used to be a friendly welcoming place and now it is full of staff just giving you a hard time. I am sorry to see it this way. There are a few staff members who are great and haven't changed, like Dr. James Bastian in pediatrics or Carmen from billing/insurance, but everyone else doesn't seem to even try for the patients anymore. I have gone through more trouble just trying to schedule there than is needed, they are trying to force the website booking so they aren't as helpful as they used to be. Which is unfair to those who do not use computers, which still occurs in this time period. And honestly I think it is just horrid. A clinic should have representatives that actually CARE about their patients, not only doctors but secretaries, technicians, etc. When a patient would like to speak to a director there should be a way to make it happen for them. I have also literally witnessed a staff member treat a pt who did not speak Spanish poorly, than were completely over the top for a Spanish speaker! I am a Spanish speaker myself and I was extremely appalled to see the preference treatment! And when I tried to report the horrendous behavior they would not give the name of their supervisor! I had my last head ache with them today, I am done and moving on to find a new clinic.

I have been going here for 5-6 years and never once (and i am not exaggerating) have i been seen at the time of my appointment. always at least 30 minutes behind with no updates so im sitting in the waiting room twiddling my thumbs. recently i have called on 4 different occasions to get my doctor switched and im on hold indefinitely to the point where i hang up without being helped. dont choose this place unless its your last option.

Ive been going to this clinic since I was born for 15 years and it seems like they had pretty good customer service until now. I went to the doctor to check on my hand and he said that he was going to do a referral to a orthopedic specialist, that they were going to call the next day to make an appointment. It has been almost a month and they still havent called and the times i have tried to say i neex an appointment they say they will call me the next day and they never did!
