Brought husband in and nurses pretty much forgot about him. He laid here for 2 hours with an empty iv bag. No one came to check on him or to make sure his meds were ok... nothing! You are just a number...now I understand the 2.4 rating for this place!!! Sad!!!

The childbirth center at this hospital is excellent. The nurses were so kind and caring, and we had an amazing experience with the birth of our first daughter. First off, thank God for Jake, who did the epidural. Because of his good work, my wife was able to sleep for 2 hrs before delivery. Gina and Rachel were very helpful and encouraging during the delivery. Wendi and Amber took extra good care of my wife during recovery. We could not be happier with our experience with the childbirth center at this hospital.

My wife and I recently went to this hospital to give birth to our son on 9/01/16, when we arrived everything seemed very clean and professional. During the birth everything went exactly how it should have. As we proceeded to the birthing ward for the next 2 nights and 3 days there was little to no care for our son, the day shift was more attentive to us and asking if we were ready to get rest, they seemed very eager to take our son. When they did take him for testing they have us an estimated time, well exceeding that time I became curious and went to look for my son. Only to find that he had been in a room by himself for over an hr and a half, I told them I wanted him back they did not want to give him back for some reason, (they were really busy). Night shift arrives, we get one visit from a very disconcerned nurse, my wife asks for her pain medication (3 times) never received any until roughly 7:30am of the next day. Mind you, not one single time did she come in our room to check our less than 24hr old son. The entire stay at this place we felt like a number, like this was simply a baby mill. Trying to get you out as fast as possible with the least amount of effort. I DO NOT recommend this hospital to anyone, birthing a child or not. Oh and not to mention they did not circumsize my son, they left that up to us to figure out. We contacted the pediatrician that was appointed to us and when they finally did do the procedure, we come to find out that they just wrapped the incision with ONLY medical tape...no gauze, nothing but tape. I had to physically cause extreme pain to my 7 day old son because someone wanted either be spiteful or halfass a very simple job. I am extremely angry, disappointed and disgusted with the way my family and I were treated.

If I could give -5 stars I honestly would! You go in and you spend 3 hours plus in the waiting room, just to go back in the room for another 2 hours. The doctor come in if your lucky maybe once.! Dr kitchen is the worst, he made jokes about a disability I have. He is rude and doesn t need to be a doctor here... this place is a bandaid station. They don t fix the problem, they don t address the problem, they simply find a way around the problem.. I ve been in here for 2+ hours, I ve watched 6 patients go back who got her idk maybe 30 minutes ago.. it s irritating, you could be dying in their waiting room and no one would notice.! The need all new staff, or something! Good luck if you go here! You may never find out what is wrong.!

Arrived with my very sick 4 year old son...temps over 103, vomitting, ect...we arrived at 11 pm. Was triaged at 12:00, and told to return to the waiting room. While waiting for triage nurse observed only 3 patients being triaged in one hour. After another hour of sitting in the waiting room, we were taken to a room. It is now 1:00. Sat in the room for another hour and a half. No dr. no nurse. Finally at 2:30 nurse arrives to give ibprofin to help with fever...have been in thi stickin hopsital for 3 and a-half hours and just now they give a fever reducer? End result...we left and drove over to Zanesville. Save yourself the trouble dont go here unless you are dying and have no choice for your care.

The baby s delivery doctor was great, but his staff not much to brag about. My wife was planning to use a pediatrician there but after meeting her we will drive to wheeling. Then before we were discharge the social worker came in & talked about postpartum depression he made me depressed, he noticed I wasn t paying attention & made a comment my wife could kill me in my sleep.. Seriously where do you find these people that can ruin such a happy occasion. I could of got more useful information off a Lucky Charm Cereal Box then what he told us.

Went to ER late for some testing. Was treated like a queen. It seems like people love to write bad re views but good ones they do not bother with. I wish I could write 5000 five star reviews to compensate because this is an awesome hospial.

Poor cleaning. Have to ask for clean clothes & bed changed. Some medical staff are very nice but keeping up with problems with patients is a serious problem. Warning beepers go off for an hour even if the Nurse button is hit twice.

As long as we have lived in Cambridge (9 yrs) we have went to this hospital. I have never had a complaint except once that we had to wait 6 hrs from arriving to leaving, they were really busy and booked other than that the staff has always been very nice, very helpful, very sweet, very kind, and always offer suggestions and helpful tips. The Dr's are amazing. I myself have had to stay on 2 different occasions all night and got the utmost care from the Dr.'s and staff. So much so that after I recovered from one of my stays I returned to the hospital to show my appreciation and respect to the staff with gifts for all who had, had a helping hand in making me feel comfortable and at ease during my stay. My daughter has had 3 children born here and also has received the same treatment. Keep up the great work S.E.O.R.M.C.

My mom went to the ER in pain and they did nothing for her. They asked HER what she wanted them to do. Didn t do a catscan or anything. She left. She went to a hospital an hour away a few days later and is now on antibiotics for an infection. This could ve been avoided if Southeastern Ames did their job and didn t assume she was there for pain meds!

Was with my mom in Cambridge when she suddenly collapsed, twice and we had to call a squad on her. The EMTs finally got a blood pressure reading and she was around 60/30. When we got into the ER, she was there for 45 minutes before anyone even tried to give her an iv to help bring her fluids and blood pressure back up. Then the doctor was asking her questions and turning away to have a personal conversation with one of the nurses while she was trying to reply. Literally he turned his back on her while she was explaining her symptoms and what had happened. We waited from 1:30 to 7:30 to even hear anything and that was they were going to admit her. Now this is her second night here and I've never seen or heard of doctors being so blatantly disinterested in their patients. Just found out her urinalysis came back with bacterial infection and the doctor refused to give her an antibiotic to treat it even though she's a diabetic. The nurses who come take her vitals are generally nice, but I sincerely think all of the doctors we've been in touch with are bordering on incompetence. I've never missed Genesis so badly, there they actually listen and take care of you. We can't wait for her to get out of Southeastern Med.

Not a great place to work at and not enough employee appreciation, unless you are a doctor or nurse then they bow down to you. The cafeteria food isn't good either. Took my son to their er because he had a nasty cut on his head and they stapled it instead of gluing it shut and now he has a nasty scar on his head. It's pretty sad that I have to drive to Zanesville to get the best care at Genesis.

I have a hard time believing these negative comments. Are y'all talking about the right Hospital?? I'm a very nervous person about new places, period. I moved to Cambridge, Ohio in 2018 and find the Hospital & Staff to be wonderful. Very courteous, kind and compassionate.

Nothing great here. The ER is horrible. Better off driving a little further to Zanesville. No acknowledgement from staff. ER is terribly slow. Been waiting 2 hrs. and my daughter has still not been called back to be seen. Just an obvious lack of care and service. Next time I know I will drive a little further to get care. 6 people went ahead of us. If I could give it zero stars I would.

If you're giving birth this is a great place. Other then that it is known as the band aid station. The nurses are awesome but the doctors have no clue what they are doing half the time. If it is something serious you're better off driving to Genesis in zanesville.

Went to the ER on 3-9-16 at 4:30 am, no one in waiting room &was taken right back. I told them I felt like my head was going to explode, ears & throat hurting bad & urnating every half hour. When the Night Nurse came in, she grabbed the garbage bag off my bed that I had brought with me, because I thought I was going to throw up. She then grabbed my wallet off the tray over the bed, & put it on the counter behing the bed. I remember thinking why did she move that?. She then put a puke bag on the tray & gave me a gown to put on, that they would probably want a chest Xray. I was hooked up to a IV & was told I was given something for my Migraine, after 2 hours it did not help. Doctor came back told him it didn't work, asked him to look at my ears & throat, he refused, stating it was the Migraine causing it. When I told him that my Migraines had never effected my ears or throat before, he could care less. I then asked if he was going to test my urine, he said no, he didn't want to interfree with My Doctor's treatment, because I was found to have a UTI last week & had just finished up the RX Monday. Then the Night Nurse came back in gave me a shot in the arm & went to the back counter. Because I had a Migraine I had been holding my head the entire time, but she stood in such a way, that I could not see what she was doing back there. I asked her if the Doctor really wasn't going to test my urine & I was told he was & that she had the order & that's what she was doing. Now during the hours of 4:30am & 7:50am I went to the bathroom 8 times. The shot worked & knocked my Migraine back & the Day Nurse came in with a couple of RX's & urine was clean, she said I could leave. I got dressed went to the counter to get the RXs & my wallet to find the zipper in my wallet half open. I checked inside, credit cards there, but my cash was gone. When I left the room the first person I saw I asked who I would report a theft to. Security came & took a report said he would go thru the tapes, I was thinking someone came in my room during one of my many bathroom trips, but I now believe it was the Night Nurse. I was told he would call in a hour or so. No call has come. Later that afternoon my Husband took me to a Quick Care where I was told I had a Sinus Infection, and a UTI. I also went & had my urine tested at the Hospital in December & was told it was clean, so they can't get get that simple test right. And I've had a UTI since then. Will not be going back.

Had to call 911 for my 18 mo old son who suddenly started screaming and having breathing difficulty, stopped breathing on me completely. After on the phone with 911 dispatch my son went completely lethargic and was zoned out with extremely dilated eyes and doubled heart rate. Wasn't sure if he was going to make it till the ambulance got to the hospital. Once at the hospital he started to come out of this spell a little bit and was able to see and talk. The doctor xray him for pneumonia and sent him home said he was fine. Told me it was probably the orajel I had given him that made his throat numb?? That wouldn't raise his heart rate and make him lethargic and to not be able to see. WHATEVER SEORMC !! They should have checked his blood in this time of opioid epidemic whose to say I wasn't a drug addiction and he had gotten into something and overdosed, or any number of things. (It was only after getting home that night that I found hand sanatizer out and open. And I believe he drank it and was having alcohol poisoning) which if they would have tested his blood they would have seen. But they didn't know, had no idea what to tell me or do. So they said he was fine and sent me home.
