Couple of really helpful guys managed to fit 4 wrangler tires and 4 Toyota matrix tires, all on rims, in the back of my trusty old matrix, saving me from having to take two trips, all in under half an hour. Awesome :)

Took them 9 hrs to do an oil change and rotate tires? Then had to wait another half hour for the rest of the work to be done when i arrived.. after all this oil started pouring out of my truck while pulling away due to a pinched gasket on oil filter... cmon guys if this is a known issue with these gaskets then drive the vehicle before releasing it back to client. If i had driven 5-10 more mins up the road the motor would have seized. Wont be going back here if i can help it.

Staff was pleasant and eager to help me with my first ever brand new truck. They are willing to go the extra mile for the customer.

There is a reason I keep coming back to Southbank Dodge, and that is because of their EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. This dealership has good old fashion great service, like its supposed to be and once was a long time ago. These professionals take care and time to ensure that your being looked after. They go out of their way and they have bent over backward to make sure that everything turns out right for you. I have 2 Wranglers which I bought elsewhere and Soutbank treats me like I bought them there. I just traded one of my Wranglers in for a RAM 1500, because I need some towing power, and again they gave me the best deal, compared to other dealers. And I just feel that they have earned my business. I will keep coming back.

Just hit the two year anniversary of buying my 2019 Cherokee from this business. The service dept has done well but the sales(trickery) dept are forever in my bad books. I have previous posts that explain what happened so I won t rewrite it. If I can save one customer from what I went through then I am pleased. Of course having the company and individual salesman fined and blacklisted would be more fair. If I had deep enough pockets (and the energy) I would have stood them in front of a judge to explain themselves. I will settle for an annual post exposing my awful experience.

The paint warranty has just expired a couple of month ago, but the person who took care of my request was very helpful and suggested taking some pictures and send it to Chrysler for approving the paint repair. We are very pleased and satisfied with the care and service provided. It was a great experience to deal with people who really want to help and support!! Very well done!!

I am a recent returning customer, I purchased and service my vehicles from Southbank when I lived in the South keys area many years ago before I moved away. We followed Mike Thomas from a competitor dealership with our brand new Dodge Ram 3500. Mike's before and after sales service is by far the best I have ever experienced and this is our 5th RAM, we know RAMs. When we caught up with him at Southbank, he greeted us like long lost friends, took us on a tour and introduced us to the amazing servicing staff and especially ensured we were acquainted with the very experienced RAM diesel 'specialized' staff. The family atmosphere was so exciting, we immediately purchased an add on for our truck and we are so pleased with the competitive price , which they beat the competitors pricing, just to let you know. Thank you for being there Southbank Dodge, we look forward to a long relationship.

Very oily salesmen, who refused multiple times to show me a transparent financial break down when I asked for it. They only show monthly payments on scraps of paper and explained that they couldn't show me the details of how they arrived at that number because "the manager only has that program"...when I got hold of payment calculator software it became clear that they were con men. Also refused to order me in a new vehicle when my financing was approved, and when it became clear I wasn't interested in a used vehicle and wouldn't buy before checking their math, they ignored my phone calls and emails. Buyer beware.

It shows an oil change being done with a multipoint inspection. Today 10May19 I received a message on my display that an oil change is due. I checked the sticker and it is still the one showing I was due in April.
This would lead me to believe that in fact my oil change was not done.
I am becoming disappointed in the service at Southbank Dodge.

I was in over the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Brian. He made the car buying experience painless from start to finish and really went above and beyond to answer questions and help me make the best decision for our needs. He even embarked on a 45 minute test drive so that I could go show the specific colour interior to my spouse! I found the pricing and approach to be fair - walked away with a great vehicle at a great price. Highly recommend that you add them to your shopping list, and they are well worth the drive even if you live further west or east.

From my first contact with Derek he made the process easy and less stressful than I anticipated. I inquired online about a used Jeep and within a couple hours (at 11:00pm!!) I had my first response from him. Seriously dedicated that one!
I went into the dealership for a coordinated test drive of the vehicle the next day, and everyone knew I was going to be there. Derek had certainly prepped for the visit. I felt welcomed but not overwhelmed in the dealership. I had come in not certain I even wanted to trade in my tiny car for the upsized Jeep despite needing the extra passenger and cargo room. They made me a great deal on the trade, and threw in some extras that I absolutely required - like winter tires because it's mandatory to have them in Quebec where I live. With all of the "extras" and the value of my trade, I feel like I got a really good deal on the purchase.
They even made it so that my payment only increased by a small amount each month, and they made sure I was comfortable with the difference, even offering alternatives to decrease it to closer to my current payment.
Overall, I'm very happy with all of my interactions at Southbank so far.

I went here looking to replace my vehicle. They were incredibly pushy. Almost forced me to sign a credit check waver before I even had a vehicle chosen. I signed after they insisted it was only a "soft hit", and not a hard one. They showed me a vehicle and then refused to talk numbers with me. They wanted to get a bank approval before even figuring out if it was affordable to me. I ended up demanding to know what rate they could likely get, and stood there in the hallway with them and worked out the payment on my phone calculator. They seemed super annoyed that I wasn't going to allow hard credit requests within 15 minutes of stepping in the joint, and on a Jeep I wasnt even sure that I wanted. This place will try to strong-arm you and make you flustered and take advantage of meeker personalities. Don't waste your time getting manupulated into hurting your credit here. TWO DAYS after I ran outta that place, I get a notice from Equifax that there was an inquiry on my account from these guys. I didn't even have a vehicle chosen! These guys are crooks and they'll try to prey on you! I ended up buying a Jeep that I LOVE from Donelly Ford just down the road. They didn't pressure me at all and John was great to deal with. They didn't show their annoyance with me even though I was in and out of that place about a dozen times before EVER being asked to do a bank credit enquiries.

Absolute worst car buying experience ever. The salesman was great and all downhill from there. Financing added things to my bill of sale that weren't asked for or agreed upon. No communication at all!!! When it came time to deliver the car. I called and nothing was ready. I took a day off work for the delivery and then was told in the afternoon that the car would be delivered the next day. When I called to express my problem they told me to either drive to Ottawa (8 hours) and get it or the deal was cancelled. All the financing and price of delivery was complete and still would not deliver it. I found out after from the salesman they did not want to send a salesperson to deliver the car. I called to speak to a manager and received no call back and haven't heard from them since!!! I had to cancel insurance and it cost a days work!!! What a joke!!! Never choose this dealership!!!!!

Toren was the most knowlegable sales person of any dealership we visited and really made us feel comfortable answering all of our questions and the general manager Bruce was incredible to speak with and really exuded trust and honesty from management. I called to book an oil change and asked the price, they asked me what model and engine - I was told 47$, when I arrive I see a 29 dollar oil change promotion sign - probably for cars only - sort of makes sense, after the work done I am handed a bill for 71$, when I mentioned the price difference the response was "Oh he(the guy on the phone) made a mistake" well I did not have time to argue, but I think I made a mistake in going to them . Be sure to get a quote before having them do anything!!! Consider going elsewhere.

I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the Southbank team! Magnificent service, the staff are super friendly and extremely genuine with the experience that they give you. I ve had some pretty bad experiences with dealerships, but I know I can always count on the team at Southbank.

I was lucky enough to work with Tamer, one of the Sales Representatives & Rami, one of the Finance Managers!

Tamer was the best, he helped me get into my dream car and I couldn t be happier. He was very kind, patient, and he listened to all of my questions and concerns and made sure he got the best deal for me.

Rami was absolutely fantastic, he was extremely thorough and helped me through all the paperwork. I can tell that he loves his job and really puts in that 110% with his customers. He made sure I was set up and understood all of the nitty gritty.

Went in to look at hemi powered Challengers today, specifically SRT 392s. They had one on the lot. A salesman agreed to get the keys for a test drive. Then another salesman jumped in with the keys and proceeds to tell me the battery is dead. Then he says they don't allow test drives unless you buy the car. Total bait and switch. I'm seriously in the market for a new muscle car, but don't appreciate being treated that way. Stupid morons. Congratulations on making a sale. For your competition. Its a Dodge you have on your lot. Not a Rolls Royce. Since you don't like my money, I'll spend it elsewhere at a different dealership that is not a Dodge dealer.

I received my car one week ago and wanted to share my experience with SOUTHBANK DODGE CHRYSLER. I can't say enough about my excellent experience with them. I received quality customer service and a fantastic deal on my new car. This was a great service. Two thumbs WAY UP! Thank you to Christopher Desjardins, he treated me like a VIP customer. He was my angel and he made my entire purchase experience awesome all the way. I would highly recommend people to use SOUTHBANK DODGE CHRYSLER when they are out buying or leasing.

Maybe fine if you have a lot of time to chase after the dealership. We bought a used car from Southbank at the beginning of April and the car isn't (so far as we know) a total lemon, so which earned them the second star.

First off, we were told that all cars come with two keys...we're still waiting for that second key in June. A new fob costs a lot and the car works with a proximity sensor so this is inconvenient. I guess a few days ago someone told my husband the key is there (no one called us) but we can't pick it up until the manager signs off? Is it part of the deal, as we were told, or not?

We also chased them for a price on winter tires (or some news on whether they got winter tires with the car that ought to come with it), but never heard anything about that, either. Our car allegedly came with an SD card with navigation info and a trial of the software in the car? But we never received it, so who knows if that was just something they told us to sell the car.

This was all foreshadowed when we asked to pick up the car five days after signing but when we came in to pick it up, they hadn't prepared at all for us to arrive. Plates weren't on, paperwork wasn't ready, they were still cleaning the car (which had a trunk full of water when we got it).

We also asked to have some issues (tire leak in the apparently new tires, checking that water in the trunk was from their detailing and not a hole in the car) checked out in the first 30 days and the dealer we worked with told us to bring it in before an appointment and pick up a loaner for the day. When we arrived for service the service department hadn't been told anything by sales, had no idea we were coming and didn't have a loaner for us, we were made late for our appointment by standing around waiting for people to figure it out. One of the issues they checked out (a persistent leak in the front tire that we noticed on the test drive, were assured would be fixed, came up again the first week of driving, was "cleared" by the service team, then came up again a week and a half later. It took them so long to see us it was no longer within a month of purchasing--so don't count on that 30 day warranty unless it's some devastating failure of the car that they have to fix.

We don't have time to chase this dealership around for the stuff they promised us and so we're still waiting for basic stuff that was part of the deal. Maybe if you've got time to treat having bought a car like another job, this dealership will work out better for you than for us.

When I arrived at Southbank Dodge Chrysler I was a little nervous as a younger customer but the staff there was so friendly and genuine. Nobody pressured me into anything and they were very fair as we negtioated a deal. I was helped by Kathryne Depres who made the whole thing a lot of fun and you could tell she really cared about the customer. She made sure I walked away with the perfect Jeep for a price that worked and I will definitely reccomend my friends and family visit her at Southbank for their next car.

Multiple times when we've brought our vehicle in to have our oil changed or repaired there has been issues.

One time they claimed to have the part for us to drive down and they infact did not have it.

Lack of communication. Show up to them informing us that infact they need to keep the vehicle for the day and their shuttle does not go into Gatineau hence forth no way home, no curtsey cars, only rental. (On 2 occasions this happened)

They are sweet and kind, but we will NOT purchase another vehicle from here nor have any service or repairs done once our warranty has ended... which will be soon.

The only thing i was dissapointed with was the kids play area. Im sure it doesnt get used much however any otger time i have been in its been pretty good and tidy. When i went in this time the toys were all thrown to one side and not very clean. Was a bit dissapointed as my 10 month old keot trying to go to the toys and she would see them however not safe for her to play woth them looking like that.

I have been dealing with Mike Thomas at Southbank Dodge Ram for many years and have purchased several vehicles from him. Most recend was a 2019 cherokee Trailhawk. This might sound strange but he is the first and only car salesman I can and have trusted over the years. He really does work for the buyer to get the vehicle that fits your budget. Each and every time I've shopped there has always been a positive experiece and with no pressure. Mike is someone that cares and it shows . I personally will continue to do business at southbank. I've been sending friends there for years and I recommend anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle to try them first. You won't be disappointed.

The service was done in just slightly over the time predicted, 2.5 instead of 2, for service that I have had done, at other dealerships with took the entire day. I was pleasantly amazed! My previous dealer used to keep the vehicle all day, for less service. I have been very please with Southbank since getting the truck I. February. Will never go back there again. Gave them a chance to make things right the first visit after inproper cleaning of my vehicle. Which I'll give them credit they did fix it. The next appointment I asked for a wheel alignment check and oil and tire change. They called if I wanted my breaks cleaned and never mentioned that my alignment was off until I arrived when closing. I once again gave them them another chance booked an appointment for wheel alignment break cleaning and a recall was told it would all be done today. Which they had all day i dropped it off at 8 AM. When I expressed how upset I was that for the second time they did not complete my wheel alignment nothing was said and chris the manager just sat there rolling his eyes like I was being unreasonable. 3 chances and your out will bring my business elsewhere . Cant believe the manager just sat there and did not say a word .

I had a fantastic initial experience with the service centre. They answered all of my questions and found the information if they didn t know it initially calling me back within a few hours. However, when I booked an appointment, they were unable to honour it and I had to wait 3 further business days until they promised to look at my vehicle first thing in the morning. When I called around noon the day they promised to have a look at my vehicle, they indicated that they might not get to it. Becoming frustrated, I wanted to know how it was that my Initial appointment was turning into almost a week without my vehicle. In the end, they called me back within 3 hrs indicating my vehicle was ready for pick up. This was a warranty issue and I m actually not 100% confident they did what they said they would do... it s not on my invoice. I was disappointed with the final outcome but would be willing to give them another chance because of my initial contact with them. They are an extremely busy place.

Walked out after he got confrontational with me about the fact that I was shopping around, and couldn't believe that another dealer had given me such a good number in the first place.

Was here maybe a month or so ago to look into buying a new car. First interaction with sales rep was great. Very friendly and understanding, I was upfront in letting him know I wouldn t be purching today but would like a test drive and some possible quotes for different things. Like I said the guy that help me was fantastic. We were wrapping things up when another old man came over and was very pushy in trying to get me to buy something right there on the spot. This left me feeling frustrated since he also knew I wasn t planning on buying that day but continued to force options and questing at me. If it Wasn t for that I would have gone back but unfortunately I just found that turned me away from returning. I understand they need to try and get sales and all that but to be that aggressive I ve never seen anywhere else.

Where to start..! Everything about our experience with Southbank was phenomenal and we have Derek to thank for that! We seen an ad online for a truck we were interested in, and right away Derek called us to answer our questions. Our initial greeting with Derek was not only professional, but he was able to connect with us on a personal level almost immediately! He was very knowledgeable in explaining all the bells & whistles of the truck, and was extremely enthusiastic, which is hard not to love! We will always remember Derek for making this experience so flawless & stress free. There is no doubt that we will recommend Southbank time & time again, to everyone! Absolutely horrific experience bought a jeep Over a month ago finance manager was extremely rude . When I picked up jeep wasn't properly cleaned and tires needed inflation bought there oil pkg for life received the conventional pkg when my jeep only takes synthetic . They sent my other loan payout 13 days late so had to deal with nsf fees and running around . False afield a safety wiper didn't work finally got a wiper 2 weeks later then went in for a check engine light and clean waited around for 7 hrs and vehicle came back not cleaned and my decals are destroyed and bubbled and there are several scratches on my hood and drivers side . Cigarette tobacco in my console . I would never recommend this place I would ever go back for any service even though I paid 1800$ for the service pkg. I wouldn't send my dog there let alone a person. So unhappy and dissatisfied . Will be contacting a lawyer very soon if they don't make this right ....

Walked in on a Sunday (after a very frustrating experience at the Dilawri dealership on Hunt Club) and explained what I was looking for -- a new 2016, 2D, Granite Metallic, standard Jeep Wrangler Sport. Dealt with Armando who was super-professional and very focused on getting me what I wanted (not selling me a 2017, like Dilawri). He found me the Jeep that I wanted (not easy as stock is very limited), worked with me to switch out the tires and rims and was very fair in his approach to all our pricing discussions. I put a down payment on the Jeep on Sunday and was driving it by Wednesday. Great buying experience!

They were very helpful in answering my questions and worked with me to end up purchasing the vehicle. My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica from Southbank. Our salesperson was Rick Slade, and I was very happy with how we were treated, the way the dealership conducts themselves, and most importantly, their after-sales service.

We came in knowing we were going to be getting *a* van from Southbank. Having researched all the comparable vans, we knew we were going to get either a Grand Caravan or a Pacifca. We were leaning towards the Pacifica, and we were also unsure of which trim/options we wanted. Rick Slade sat with us and we discussed what were our wants and needs were for our vehicle, what our planned usage was, what our estimated length of ownership would be, and what budget limitations we had.

After some on-paper comparisons, we test drove a Caravan and Pacifica. Further discussions had us settled on the Pacifica. As we started considering trim/options, Rick was able to get a good understanding of what we were looking for and helped us narrow down our options. We were kind of between the Touring-L and Touring-L Plus. Rick was very honest and transparent during our discussions, telling us which options we were considering that in his opinion we likely didn't need. As we started get really serious (as in looking at which models on the lot best fit us), we started to realized the Touring-L had what we 'needed', and the Touring-L Plus had what we 'wanted', but came with an obvious increase in price. Rick proposed a new option that he found as he was looking through their inventory; a Pacifica Limited demo. It had MANY more options than we 'needed', but since it was a demo, he was able to make the price work where it was comparable to the "new" new Pacificas we were looking at.

After a bit of back and forth, we settled on a price that my wife and I were very happy with. Even better, the dealership said they would be able to have the van ready for pick-up the next day!

This is where we started to have some issues.

We never test drove the actual van we purchased. Our reason was we had test driven a Pacifica, and by the time we started looking at the Limited demo, it was past 8:00 PM and raining quite heavily. So what were our issues? They were all minor, but given we were buying a 'new' van, they were things we weren't expecting to happen.
- paint chip on the hood
- grease, goop, and a pair of sunglasses in the interior
- the clip covering the pull-handle for the Stow n Go on the rear bench was broken
- we were missing a key
- half of the rear bench didn't work (power Stow n Go: wouldn't latch properly or move at all)

When we picked up the van, Rick went to put the rear bench up for us, which is when he noticed it didn't work. I could tell from the look on his face that whoever did the inspection before it got to us was probably going to hear a lot of words that rhyme with duck. The rest of the things we noticed during our drive away from the dealership, with the exception of the key. With that, the issue was our model came with a 'KeySense' key, which is a third key that limits speed and some other features. We thought it could be de-programmed, which isn't the case.

My fear was it would be a 'Eh, you left the lot!'. DEFINITELY not the case. Rick told us as soon as we could come back, we would be slotted right in to fix the seat. So our timeline was:
- picked up the van June 30
- the rear seat not working was fixed July 3. It was at that time they ordered the new clip.
- by the end of that week we had our key
- The part came in July 14, which is when they also fully detailed the van

When I went in the first time, Rick wasn't there so I was dealing the Sales Manage (Wasfi). He was VERY helpful. He seemed genuinely concerned with the fact that the vehicle did not go out to their standards, and made sure all the issues were corrected and gave us a bit of compensation for the inconvenience.

While the issues, as mentioned, were minor, they were still things that should have been caught before the van went out.
