Lovely experience. Definitely recommend upgrading to the gold floor if you can afford the small up charge. Adds a lot of complimentary items your stay that is well worth the difference. Besides you can't be the view. 95% of the gold rooms have gorgeous ocean views.

My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont South Hampton off season February 17-23rd for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the quite downtime. We were blessed with amazing service and friendly staff. Our room was super clean and loved the seaside/harbor view. What a beautiful island and can't wait to visit again.

Free shuttle to the beach was nice. We walked it most times. Very expensive for everything. 18 to 20 for a drink. Same pricing in the shop for anything that may have been forgotten. A wonderful trip anyway. Service was great.

Awesome hotel and resort! All around amazing place to stay! The food at all of the restaurants was very good and always well prepared. The staff all around the resort were great! The room was comfortable and every room appears to have a beautiful view.
Would absolutely recommend staying here if looking to stay in Bermuda!

The good: gorgeous beach, lots of chairs and umbrellas, decent beach bar, beautiful views from hotel, great dive shop that picks up at the hotel beach and is a really great, knowledgeable, and fun company, and good beach snorkeling.

The bad: So many wild, screaming, misbehaving children everywhere. Children ruining dinner with screaming at an adult restaurant. Children grabbing food with their bare hands and running through a very expensive breakfast buffet line screaming and chasing each other. Children slamming doors and screaming in the hallway. Children crying and throwing a fit on the floor of the beautiful lobby bar, while we sipped $20 cocktails 3 feet away. Children splashing you and crying at the beach, while moms change poopy diapers on the lounge chairs. Honestly, I don t mind well-behaved kids, but adults were outnumbered 3 kids to one at this resort, and it s a very expensive trip to have to endure so much background screaming. When you spend over $250 on dinner for 2, a toddler screaming for the iPad is not the background noise you deserve. The hotel was poorly renovated and the walls are thin. There was literally no adults-only area to escape the madness. We love Bermuda and will be back, just not to this Kinder-care that calls itself a luxury resort .

Went for business meetings, the hotel itself shows some wear and tear, but is clean and in a beautiful location. The staff were all super friendly, there are lots of activities and some really good restaurants on site. There are free shuttles around the hotel property, a free ferry to Hamilton and a private beach.

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay here very much! The room was clean and modern and we had a gorgeous view of the water. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It rained non stop for our entire stay and cleared up the day we departed, so we really want to make another trip here to explore more of the island when the weather is a bit more sunny, but we enjoyed our visit none the less.

I ve stayed at other Fairmonts before and this one...

I ve stayed at other Fairmonts before and this one for sure is lacking friendliness? Don t get me wrong nobody was outwardly rude. But if they weren t happy with you about something (me asking them to make change at the front desk) they let you know it by their attitude and demeanor.

The hotel itself feels outdated, the hallways were in need of vacuuming. The hotel shuttle drivers were just that, drivers. No hello or an attempt to start a conversation. I had better rides with local cab drivers.

It just seemed as if the drivers/front desk people did the bare minimum. It felt as if guests were something they had to deal with.

They prices were crazy high. See photo of in room prices for drinks/food. I mean I get it s Bermuda and it s a Fairmont but $9 for a beer in room??? $10 at the pool?! An IPA? Ha! $14! If you got money to blow (and I m not poor or balling on a budget, just appreciate the value of a dollar) and don t mind the prices just pay them. However if you look around (like the Beach Bum Patio right next to the Fairmont private beach) you ll see much more reasonable prices. See pics below of their menu.

The different prices drive me wild too. No consistency in their pricing. Why pay $6 for a soda when you can buy one for $2 fr their own vending machines??

Reason for the 4 stars is this....Beach is awesome, service staff was super friendly (they should be 17% tip is included, tho I normally tip 20% so 3% saving for me!). The restaurants on site are legit 5 star joints. Loved them! Did not mind spending my money there at all! The pool had a lot of kids running around, which I didn t mind, but something worth keeping in mind. The shuttle service was awesome and always available.

So all in a all a nice hotel. Do I feel I got my money s worth? No, but only by a little bit tho.

This resort is absolutely wonderful for families! ...

This resort is absolutely wonderful for families! Reasons: kids 5 and under eat free at all restaurants when ordering from the kids menu (and at the breakfast buffet). We ended up eating at the resort s great restaurants many times so this was a wonderful perk. Toddler play room. Bigger kid game room. Multiple pools (guests can use the fancy spa pool in the evenings as well). Welcoming staff, everyone was very accommodating of kids. Baby-sitting arranged through conserve. Private beach with kid toys provided. What more could you want? How about a great central location on the island so no matter what you want to do you maximum travel time is not bad? The private beach is right next to the nicest public beach (and associated coves where you can get a whole beach to yourself)! Plenty of resort activities everyday, and the list goes on and on. Truly a wonderful place for those of us with little ones.
Having said that, I m not sure I d recommend this resort to a young couple looking for a relaxing quiet get away because with all the kid friendliness, the resort and restaurants (not including the Waterlot Inn, which was very quiet and romantic) can be quiet loud.

This is a really nice hotel that is surrounded by an excellent golf course. It's not on the beach but Horseshoe Bay Beach is right across the street. Due to the the elevation, there are great views of the ocean from the resort.

My husband and I took a mini vacation to Bermuda for the first time and we absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont Southampton. It exceeded our expectations. We were also on a budget friendly vacation. Fairmont Southampton is a luxurious place, it was so worth it. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Coming from NY, we were so amazed of the quality and character of people there. So friendly, generous and kind. It was spectacular. Also, the country was so safe, we explored and used public transportation. It was so simple to use. Highly recommend exploring the dockyard, going to the glass bottom boat tour, and the crystal caves were extravagant. The staff were very helpful and assisted us in using the public transportation and things to do. The amenities at the hotel were great as well. We used the indoor heated pool, jacuzzi which was accessible to us in the evening. The gym at the facility was also top notch. We will definitely be visiting Bermuda again and the Fairmont Southampton. We enjoyed it very much!

My wife and I had a great Labor Day week vacation. Staff was very helpful. For example, Laverne at Concierge helped us track a piece of luggage that the airline lost. And when I left my cell phone on the shuttle, several staff members took immediate action - thank you to Allen who found it on his shuttle. The food was delicious - at Bacci and the Waterlot Inn the dinners were perfect and the staff was attentive. And of course, the beach experience is the best in Bermuda.

Overpriced , manager was rude, hung up the phone on me. Rooms are far from the beach , a shuttle takes you there. The private beach area is over crowded. Horseshoe beach is much better and right next to it. Charged me $25 per person to use microwave. Complimentary internet is so slow my 3G worked better. The shuttle service charged me without providing a shuttle service and will not refund. Concierge service just hands you a few brochers , if you haven t booked anything yourself , do not expect them to help.

This is an old hotel. The service, esp the front desk check-in experience is third rate. Given the cost of a room, which is that of any of the finest hotels in Europe per night, there is no equivalence. Pretty island. This place is past its prime. It is hard to believe that the current GM used to manage the Savoy in London. Wow. Quite a world away in experience. Definitely does not deserve to be an Amex fine hotel and resort. Same with a virtuoso hotel. 3 stars.

Nice room with big closet and excellent AC to keep it very comfortable.
Pool is ok; not overly big or fancy for a resort.
Poolside service was lacking especially later in the day.
Hotel common areas need some refreshing and renovation
Rec/game room was pretty lame with beat up equipment and musty, dirty floors and furniture
It really needs to be completely renovated at a nicer hotel like this
Good shuttle service to beach and nice beach overall
Great for families of all kinds
Once again food/beverage service lacking or just average
I am an Accor Gold member; so I asked for late checkout the night before and desk person said it would be fine if we checked out at noon.
Next morning I went up to the desk to get a receipt at 1130 and told the woman at the desk we'd be checking out at noon. She immediately replied "Checkout is at 11." Somewhat tersely and without any diplomacy.
So I had to explain to her that I was as Gold member, one, and that I had asked the night before for a noon checkout and was told it would be fine, two.
Once again: training of staff and approach to service at a Fairmont hotel like this needs to be much better than this (just asking for some polite service is all).
Note: I am a Gold member because I OWN STOCK IN ACCOR HOTELS AND AM A SHAREHOLDER.
Overall: got a decent rate (330/night) but needs lots of updates and a better approach to service
Would look elsewhere if/when traveling to Bermuda again

Large property with an amazing private beach (also next to horseshoe beach), golf course, spa, gym, nine restaurants, a couple of pools, shops and grass viewing area. Some great views and a good selection of food and drinks. Rooms are spacious and service excellent. It's a 20 min bus ride from Hamilton and 20 min walk to the nearest grocery store.

Very underwhelming...to the point we left 5 nights ahead of schedule and booked last minute at another property. Staff overall rude, cleaning arrived to tend to the room at 6PM, impossible to find a seat at the pool due to loads of children. Hotel seemed understaffed in general. Private beach was crawling with seaweed. The icing on the cake was when we booked at their Waterlot Inn restaurant and were refused seating because someone in our party had open toed shoes. You can do WAY
better...research wisely. Rosedon in Hamilton for example is a nice boutique alternative if you wish to be close to non-generic hotel dining options and closer to activities.

The resort is supposed to be largest and best in B...

The resort is supposed to be largest and best in Bermuda. If that is it's aspirations, while might be best here, I've been to nicer places in the Caribbean. Issue one is that while place does present itself nice at first, right away you can tell there are things that make it a bit outdated. Game room with ping pong table, paddles good quality but now destroyed. The balls some cheapy plastic you can't have normal game with those. Pool table section has 2 sticks, neither one has any tips left, literally just wood, so can't play either. The outside pool while somewhat nice but more suited to little kids than teens or adults. Coffee place closes at 4:30pm, that's a joke ! We didn't get upgraded room, so no sea view, which we expected. What I didn't expect was that I was going to have a view of a roof of lower level, horrible ! This is what beach towers in Atlantis have and even there you get some sea view, not here. But Fairmount is even more money so I didn't expect this. Speaking of money, this place is expensive! Lunch for 2 adults and two teens was about $100, dinner was about $150. And the food was nowhere that good. This didn't include any alcohol either. Better beer is $13, cheaper one $10. Needless to say I was not having it :-(
Best part are the beaches, the private beach during the early day, they have kayak rentals and chairs with umbrellas and towels provided. Very nice. In the late afternoon and evening once cruise crowds leave you can go to horse shoe beach right across parking lot and enjoy the scenery there. Overall this was a great location but hotel itself a little disappointing.

My wife and I chose this location for our honeymoon and we are most certainly happy we did.
The fairmont southampton is absolutely stunning hotel set up on the hill away from the road. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained and the hotel itself is remarkably clean and almost stately.
We stayed in a deluxe sea view room which had wonderful panoramic views of the naval dockyard, the bay and even the capitol city. The room itself is very spacious and offered everything we needed including the all important coffee maker.
The amenities at the hotel are rather extensive ranging from the seven resteraunts and bars to the willow spa, fitness centre, tennis courts, a games room, a children's play area, two swimming pools and a variety of branded shopping outlets.

The fairmont southampton has complimentary shuttle buses that get you to the correct location to start your day of activities or to the beach and so on.

The staff at the fairmont southampton are exceptionally helpful, friendly and always polite. My wife and I would like to send a special thanks to Lavern at the concierge desk who made booking experiences and trips remarkably easy and also gave very good advice and ideas on how to travel around the island aswell as what the good spots are to see.

We will most definetly be back to stay here again just as soon as we save the money to get here from the uk.

Many thanks to everyone at the fairmont southampton.

Young couple from NY/NJ traveled 10/11/2019-10/16/...

Young couple from NY/NJ traveled 10/11/2019-10/16/2019 for First Anniversary/Babymoon to Bermuda and stayed at The Fairmont Southhampton. The concierge arranged a shared transport which was easy to locate in the airport. The ride was about 40 minutes from airport to hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff and went through a quick check-in process. Our room was mostly clean ( few flakes of dust here and there ). The full breakfast option is worth every penny. Yes, it is expensive however, you will not save yourself money but not taking this option. Everything in Bermuda is 3-6x what we pay in the states. (Ex: 1 bottle of water $6.00, 1 can of soda $4.00, etc.) It has an abundance of options with additional fixings to satisfy the most picky pallet. The service at the hotel overall is top notch! The hotel is located on top of a hill and the beach is not directly connected to it. They have shuttle buses running every few minutes transporting everyone to the beach area/ other restaurants that are affiliated with the hotel (Ocean Club, Waterlot, Boundary etc) The beach is extraordinarily clean, has an option to rent kayaks, noodles, snorkeling equipment and diving experience. The earlier you go, the more colorful fish you see enjoying their breakfast by the rocks. The outdoor pool ( which is attached to the hotel ) , is a little on the small side for the size of the hotel, however, they do have another option which is the indoor spa pool which is massive. The hotel does have a large population of ducks, however, the staff does a great job to ensure they are not pestering the guests too much, just watch your french fries. Horseshoe bay is the next beach over from the Fairmont's reserved beach. Even off season, all but the burger bar were available. Ocean Club has excellent seafood, small portions and great views. Waterlot's steak was incredible and fantastic ambiance. Jasmine's has great drinks, large variety of food items, and everything is very tasty. Mediterra , same thing. There is a small store downstairs that sells little snacks and drinks until 10PM if you don't want to pay $12 for a kit kat at the mini-bar. Overall, highly recommend, even "off season"!

Great location. That was my favorite part of the hotel as it's very close to horseshoe beach. The down side is that you have to take a shuttle to get to the beach and really anywhere else in the area. We did manage to walk to a bar not far away but there is not much sidewalk. The golf course is quite beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is generally very clean and rooms are quite large. Overall we enjoyed the experience, just wished the beach was easier to get to.

A 3 star hotel, 5 star location, and 2 star value...

A 3 star hotel, 5 star location, and 2 star value. This is a very family friendly hotel that appears to thrive off of its conference booking and wedding bookings. If you are looking for a Fairmont quality luxurious beach getaway this isn t the place for you. For example the outdoor pool is so small it is not uncommon for there to be ZERO available chairs on the pool deck for a majority of the day (not to mention the poor architectural choice of putting the pool on a North-South line vs. East-West line right next to the hotel so half of the seating area is covered in shade all day). The rooms are a generous size with Le Labo products, but the hotel badly needs capital improvements and a cleaning. There was mold in the showers in both rooms we stayed in (our first room was so bad we paid for an upgrade and changed rooms) and none of the shower hooks were fastened. This general lack of attention to detail coupled with nice amenities is very reflective of the hotel overall. If you are more interested in the amenities than the hotel there is a great par 3 course on site, a free daily ferry that takes you directly to the shopping district in Hamilton (45 min boat ride, some guests just took it round trip and used it as a free 1.5 hr sunset cruise everyday. Genius!), and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you down to the pristine beaches on the ocean side of the island or <br/>restaurant on the harbor side. Overall great location with 5 star prices, but a solidly lower-middle hotel. If you were expecting the facilities to be comparable to other Fairmont properties you ve stayed at, you will be disappointed. Pro-tip: even numbered rooms on floors 4-6 have ocean and harbor views. Any lower than 4 and your view will be the roof over the conference center and/or parking lot. I think you would need to be at least on the third floor or higher to be able to see the water above the entryway and trees.

The location is amazing! Hotel is nice, but outdated and the lack of cleanliness is the reason I m giving a 4 Star review. When we arrived and got in our room, it wasn t clean, daily room service is good. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel is good and is the same price as outside, so it wherever you want. The private beach is the beat part of this hotel, with its cristal clear water and white send, even it s not a beachfront hotel the complementary shuttle-bus drives non stop, between hotel and the beach so waiting time less then 5 minutes.

Worst vacation experience ever!! We booked and paid for sea view rooms but we were facing inland and looking at trees. The hotel staff was useless and could not be bothered to address any of our concerns or try to help us. We had roaches in our room and the staff lied about spraying the room. We came here for a destination wedding. Most members of our group, including us, changed rooms because the views were not as promised. They placed us above a loud generator / water recapture system initially. The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable, but the shower liming was chipped in every room we saw in our group and the entire bathroom was in need of upgrading. We were misled about the inclusive continental breakfast. The staff won t tell you what you can and cannot eat from the breakfast buffet until they charge you an additional fee per person for the upgrade each day. There are several hidden charges of about $70 per day that were never explained to us. Initially, we booked the room online on their website for a total of 6 nights for $1870.70. However, after the hidden fees, we were charged an additional $384 at checkout. Overall, the experience was nice and we had a great time. The beaches were beautiful and the workers were very nice. I just wish the hidden fees were initially explained to us at check-in.

The rooms are larger than the usual US hotel rooms, but have the usual layout. Everything is impeccably clean. The restaurants were all good, except the sports bar which was just average food. Ask for a room on the 3rd or higher floor, as many of the 2nd floor rooms overlook a restaurant roof. There is a shuttle to the beach. There's also a ferry to the city, but it is very slow ~45min, because it hugs the coast instead of taking a direct route, but it's free. A taxi costs ~$30, but will save you 20min.

The Fairmont Southhampton is an amazing resort, with a fantastic pool, great restaurants, and beautiful grounds. The staff were very friendly, and the food was great. The only drawback of the resort is that the beach is a hotel bus ride away, which makes it an undeal spot if you're not committed to spending a lot of time there. Absolutely Love This Place!
Any time we visit Bermuda we love staying at the Fairmont Southampton on the Fairmont Gold Floor, the benefits are worth the price especially if you have little ones.
Service is great and the food is just as good.
The little ones love the trolley for the private beach and with the public beach next door with the cove that has very little waves amazing if you have small children.
I would recommend the Fairmont Southampton to anyone!

Booked this hotel through jetblue vacations, to start of this trip jetblue flight delayed 5 hours. We arrived at this hotel at 3am just needed my room as I had already arranged meetings at 7am.

Myrna hill(front desk receptionist) was the most disgusting, uneducated, rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. She claimed that she could not have found our reservation, while I'm showing her my itinerary, she ignored me completely and said our reservation was at another hotel that I needed to take a taxi there. It is not my fault that between jetblue and this hotel there was a mix up. I told Myrna to call jetblue and sort this out, she blatantly said no and stated it loudly embarrassing us, making it seem as though we were not worthy to stay at this hotel and started dealing with other customers. At 315am in the morning my friend and I got on the phone with jetblue. While on the phone with jetblue they called the front desk, she ignored the phone ringing until my sister had to tell her to answer to phone. Jetblue confirmed that we were at the correct hotel and it was the stupid reception who clearly didn't know her job.

After asking to speak to a manager, she lied and said there is no manager till 10am next morning. I told her I had already paid for a hotel and all I needed was a room I didnt care if I had to pay again as it was by now its 4am. She denied even to check the availability of a room adamant on us just leaving this hotel .After fighting with this nasty receptionist someone from the back( green shirt) came out and said "check your email"
Of course now they found the reservation. After the whole ordeal, there was no apology and now at 440am after spending close to 2 hours at front desk.

Myrna hill left a bad taste for check in and check out.fairmont hotel needs to realize that she is the face of your hotel.

I was not gonna let that piece of garbage reception ruin my trip and we had a great time after that. I also met the manager the following day and I was told I would get a update which never came. Thankfully I ended up meeting the manager of the jasmin lounge and also the marketing director and they ended up apologizing on behalf of this heinous reception and made it better by a complementary meal.

At check out. Myrna hill again was there again with her disgusting and disrespectful attitude. Despite of her we had a great trip to Bermuda. She even rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath when I asked for a receipt and the email confirmation which was suppose to have sent since arrival and was never done.

I chose this hotel after reading reviews stating how good the customer service. Myrna hill made the complete opposite of that and would never reccomend this hotel. It's crazy how only one person can ruin a nice place and experience. Fairmont hotel needs to do something about her as soon as possible because they are losing alot of income and getting bad reputation.

Updated: this incompetent reception charged my card 1480 extra. I'm now fighting with staff to get it removed. What a horrible experience!

Fairmont is one of the biggest resorts in Bermuda....

Fairmont is one of the biggest resorts in Bermuda. We stayed at Fairmont for 3 days. We stayed 2 days at another resort located on the southshore beach itself. Comparing with our second resort, Fairmont is okay.
It has it's own advantages - kid friendly, few activities and 24 hour room service. Disadvantages - it is located away from beach and service was not as great as the other one.
They don't have shuttle service to Gibbs lighthouse. You will have to walk through their golf court or take taxi. I would recommend taking taxi if you are pregnant. They charged us ~$150 for water, beer etc which we didn't use. We had to let them know that we didn't use any of those things from fridge. They reduced that amount from our bill.
Fairmont gave me a feeling of hotel than a resort. I would recommend staying at Fairmont only if you have kids.
Note:
- There are many fees charged during your checkout. Read through their fees structure and calculate while booking so that you will not be shocked with the total amount that they charge you during checkout.
- Never ever touch anything in their fridge, not even water. They charge you hell lot of money.
- Ask them to print a receipt for you and make sure you check it. Even if you don't use anything from fridge, they may charge you for few of them. Do let them know that you didn't use anything from the fridge.

We have been coming here for years, and still here. I can t believe how this hotel has gone downhill!!!! I tried calling the front desk to ask about check out. After a half hour of ringing I finally hung up. Then tried calling concierge and the same story. After calling the operator I was transferred. <br/>The showers on the beach are dirty and all the dispensers are empty. Front lobby always has water on the table, no water. The beach store opens at 10. We went to buy water at 11:07, the store is closed. We were told the store will not open, because of a rain shower. Meanwhile the beach has sunbathers. I was told the hotel was sold. Please don t waste your money, 4 star hotel prices with 3 star service.

Execellent hotel with excellent service and amenities. If you are interested in the beach (if you aren't, you're on the wrong island), this is a superb location, with a shuttle to a "private" beach and a short walk to Elbow Beach & Warwick Long Bay (and all the little coves between). Food is very good with everything from snack bars to fine dining. If the prices are within your reach, the Fairmont is an excellent choice.

Wonderful experience at the hotel and beach...team members were friendly and professional! Especially enjoyed Windows breakfast and the female bartender at the Jasmine made a delicious Sangria. Highly recommend the Fairmont Southampton experience! Btw, loved the dress code!

Our overall experience was excellent, we spent a week on the property. Everyone at the front and concierge desks were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and on our last morning brought us up to see a great sunrise. Onsite restaurants are expensive. 2 out of 3 visits to the Jasmine lounge we had below average service. We frequented the coffee shop, lots of gluten free options, we just wished it would have stayed open later. The grounds are very picturesque and the ocean club beach is beautiful. I wasn't a fan of the giant herd of ducks out front but plenty of other patrons were and fed them. Boundary the sports bar on property is really nice, good food and excellent service.

My husband and I had high expectations for our first trip to Bermuda and our stay at the Fairmont Southampton--they were exceeded. We had the most enjoyable week here. The beaches were the most beautiful we've been on. We did walk over to Horseshoe Bay and Warwick beaches, but decided the Fairmont's awesome private beach with its amenities was the place for us. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas already set up and towels are provided. We never felt crowded on the beach. Shoutout to the drinking water coolers. The photos are not photoshopped--the water really is that aqua! We found the food fantastic and we recommend tea time (awesome scones and jam). The service across the board (check-in, dining, beach, concierge) is courteous, genuine and efficient. The rooms are spacious and clean with twice daily housekeeping service. You take a shuttle to the beach and some of the restaurants, but it is a super quick ride and we never waited more than 3-5 minutes for one. We ventured off campus one day to visit the caves and the concierge helped us with the bus transport and conveniently sells bus fares. Thank you for a truly remarkable vacation. We have been highly recommending Fairmont Southampton to our family and friends and cannot wait to come back.

Nice hotel, a little too fancy for my tastes, but it definitely is a nice place. Concierge left a little too be desired. Called multiple times for extra towels, never received any. Found them to be a little snobbish at the concierge desk. Other than that though, it was great.

Attended a wedding here great staff. Great property, beach was beautiful. They provide shuttle to connect to buses so you can explore the island. The rooms are very well kept, comfortable beds. Would have given 4 stars but the the lobby and hallways needed a little updating...

Positives: The beach is stunningly beautiful. The bell staff and shuttle operators were friendly. Carol Anne, one of managers, was the only person who was genuinely concerned and actually did something to compensate us.

Negatives: Both the pool and the beach either had no towels at the start of the day or ran out of towels on multiple days. Our room was vacuumed only once, on our last day, despite repeated requests from day 1 since crumbs spilled on our floor shortly after checking in. We were given multiple assurances it would be taken care of combined with multiple excuses for it not having been done including, that s not our job and we can t find a working vacuum . We requested fresh towels one afternoon at 4 which never arrived. When we returned to the room, we were told housekeeping was gone for the day and no one else could bring us fresh towels. They put us through to the manager twice who never answered the phone.

Apart from the bellhops and a few others, the rest of the staff ranged from cold and distant to outright rude. We witnessed the spa pool attendant rudely chastising guest s children. Main poolside server rolled her eyes when we oin rdered a drink.

The hotel needs an aesthetic update and the staff needs training and accountability. If it weren't for the beautiful beach, this vacation would have been a bust.

Preferred it over the Fairmont Hamilton Princess since it's close to Horseshoe Bay and Gibbs Hill. Also has an excellent golf course onsite which is worth playing - check for the sunset option. Consistent with the rest of Bermuda, nothing is cheap here, so you'd do well packing a few snacks and picking up some beverages before coming to offset the high cost of meals and drinks. The Waterlot Inn dinner is a can't miss.

Beautiful resort, so many things to do on the property. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, great food, and everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful. Price is on the higher end for stay, food and excursions. However I would highly recommend to anyone.

This Hotel is one of the best in Bermuda. They take pride in Customer service and invest in their employees to give the BEST service. You will love being at this resort, they make you feel like family. If you feel lost, want to know about a popular attraction etc you can ask anyone they are VERY friendly!! The views from the rooms (some) are Beautiful!! The Restaurants are modern and the food is Amazing and refreshing. The property has lots going on for all ages. It's really a nice resort to stay while visiting Bermuda or if you are a local just for a getaway, you will feel like your in tropical paradise.

Could have been 5 star if our room was better maintained. Room needed repair and balcony was filthy including the dust bunnies at the balcony door. Room is very big and comfortable with quality toiletries and well equipped. Majority of the team were very friendly and caring, from the concierge station to the shuttle drivers. Emaculate grounds and many options for dining. All were pretty good but the Jasmine lounge's food was the most disappointing. Good free live music entertainment by the hotel lobby. Will come again.

I've stayed there 2 times, for a total of 10 days. The staff, facilities, food are all top notch. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on the island. These people can take care of all you're needs. Hope to be going back in the early spring for another stay.
