Awesome service thank you Sonia and thank you Kevin. You exceeded all of my expectations.

We just purchased a new 2019 CLS from South Bay MBZ and it was a great experience. Shout out to Sam and Aaron in sales they were very thorough and patient if you need a car see them only and a final thank you to the GSM Sam he made the deal for us. They are all an asset to the dealership.

I have been taking two MBs to South Bay for over ten years. I have all the work done there and am completely satisfied and both cars are running like new. I use John Steech as my Service adviser and appreciate his knowledge and counsel, not to mention the free loaners. When an intermittent problem arose with the fiber optic system in my S500, they stayed on the job until they found an illusive intermittent cable, spending many more hours than they charged.
Yes, they charge more than some independents, but my investment has paid off. And the coffee is pretty good as well.
As for the sales team...well, that is a one time experience, but the service relationship goes on for along time. I don't even know from which sales person I bought my cars. In fact, one was delivered in Germany.
I check my total costs over the life of both cars and the service costs may seem high at the cashier's desk, but when it is compared to the tax, license, insurance, depreciation and GAS, it's perhaps the only bargain.

I don't know who to blame, my "service adviser" o...

I don't know who to blame, my "service adviser" or the "service manager." I have a 2014 E350 wagon which I custom ordered through MB of South Bay. I maintain the car in perfect condition and am meticulous about its appearance. The door handle of the the rear driver side door is chipped. When I pointed it out to the "adviser" he picked at it and made it worse. I requested that the dealership repair the handle because I assumed it would be covered under the extended warranty which I purchased for $3000 from the dealership. At the end of two days of hearing nothing from the service adviser, I called and was advised that the service manager had turned down my request to repair the handle - despite the warranty and the work that I have had done at the dealership. I asked about the cost of the repair and the adviser had no idea. This is pretty sloppy - not to mention the endless waits in the lobby for "so called" appointments.
Service is very important to me. I will think twice about MB of South Bay in my next car buying decision.

I purchased a demo Mercedes B-class electric from MB of South Bay, with Ronnie Owens of sales and leasing. He was knowledgeable, gracious, and completely non-pushy, but was able to bring in the car I wanted from another location far removed. I was ready to haggle, but the price was far better than I expected, so I just pushed for a deal on the maintenance and extended warrantee. The car has been wonderful and I would buy again from Ronnie.

Once the car arrived, the service from him and the entire staff at Mercedes Benz of South Bay was as good as we ever experienced in 40 years of car buying.

Frank Perri has been my service advisor for the last 8 years off and on. He was my advisor when I had my BMW and when I switched to Mercedes I was happy when I saw him when I needed my first service appointment. His service and communication is always world class. His knowledge makes understanding what needs to be performed easy to comprehend. Thanks again for consistently being a great person to work with and making sure to uphold great customer service in a society where it's far and few.

The process was much easier than I thought it would be. I called in and Jacqlyn made my appointment. The next day I was greeted by her, and ushered in, she took some information and directed me to 3 different waiting areas. I noticed they all had tvs, couches, and one was within eyesight of the tv but had high top tables and chairs. The wait time was spot on and they even washed my car! I don't usually like service appointments but I'm new to the Mercedes family, their process is well thought and executed.

very poor service and Very expensive. With an appointment could not get maintenance service done the same day. When I called them multiple times no one answers the phone and no one bothers to return my call.The next day came in to pick up car and Advisor said to wait for car in waiting room. An hour and a half later the Advisor saw me and realized they forgot about me. On top of that I was charged more than $800 for a service that costs between $350 and $450 at any other Mercedes store around. As a woman I felt very taken advantage of. My lease is coming up and will need another car. It won't be from this Dealer.

I leased a car from Mercedes Benz South Bay last month and I would recommend you look elsewhere. The car was supposed to be brand new but I found a big dent and many scratches on it when I came to pick it up. I was told I could pick it up a couple days later and it wasn t ready for a full week (I had to follow up twice to get the updates that it was late and late again. There was no follow through). When I finally got the brand new car, there were still scratches on the back of it. Not the feeling you want to have when you ve just dropped a ton of money on a car and become a new customer.

I was told the dealership would be in touch to rectify the situation and they never reached out. I left messages and no one called back. I got corporate involved and the manager gave them lip service about not being aware of the situation and said she d take care of it immediately. I explained that I had to extend my previous lease a week and as I was paying for two cars that week I felt they should compensate me fairly. Then nothing. She didn t return my voicemails and they ve done nothing to address the situation.

The floormats were also delivered filthy and the smart ignition was not installed. I ve been told 3x they were mailing that feature to me and nothing...

It s been years since I ve taken time to write a negative review but please do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere before engaging in business with this dealership. I wish someone had warned me.

I had a great experience at Mercedes-Benz of South Bay! The front desk worker for service and the receptionist, Maggie and Sandra, were super attentive and were very kind. My service advisor, Sonia, was also very helpful & attentive to everything I needed to get handled for my vehicle.

We couldn't be more impressed with the friendliness and professionalism at MB of South Bay. And, our salesperson Yacine was the best! He was friendly, accommodating and worked very hard to get us the deal we could afford. I have been in the automotive parts business for 44 years so I can be a pretty hard customer to please. However, Yacine did a great job. We couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. And, we are extremely happy with our GLC!

I traded a car for us to experience a luxury vehicle which is a certified pre owned 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC300 with less than 6k miles last Oct 28, 2019 At this dealership.. only to find out the one of the tailgate light is cracked and moisture is going inside, you will not know that it was there if you re just going to look at it. you must deeply check to find it and I found the issue by myself.. I have express this issue to the dealership and resolution is unacceptable at this point. They want to charge me for the tail light and offered a discounted price to get it fixed.. continuation below

After the owners response on this review I went back to the dealership and was able to meet Mr. Steve Schimkus and a shout out to you sir!!! He is one of the Service Director who listened, understand and care for us customers to make things right and corrected all issues that i have.. Steve even went out at his office desk to personally and physically check the vehicle that I am having issues with.. Folks if you think that being on a top position will just sit at his desk and just have a lilttle chit chat with you and give out a desicion, Mr. Schimkus is very different! I am changing my review to 5stars in a heartbeat because of him and his team... Best customer service experience! Thank you very much..

I would NEVER recommend Mercedes of South Bay.
They weren t willing to work and come to a compromise because it was the Manufactures fault!
I will never go back to buy a car or ever have my car serviced there again!!

Great help from Frank Perri, 5 Star services. My lease return C250 front and rear tire was damaged we had a coverage on tire and wheel. Frank worked with tire coverage company and got replaced with new tires. Thanks Frank, I would definitely go to Benz PCH to buy my next car.

Gary Schwartz and Karol Powers were both extremely helpful and kept me informed about the progress of the order, and Karol took good care of me when I went in to test drive the model and order the car and when the car was delivered and I completed the purchase. I would definitely recommend their thorough and friendly service.

I've been going for A1 service here from past two years. Service has been good and the team is very courteous. They walk you through all the details clearly and communicate on the progress made or in case of any issues that have been found. My only problem is that every time we requested to clean up the car interior, it was never done.

I special ordered my car 7 months ago and it arrived as I ordered. The disappointment came when I discovered the dealer was not going to honor the verbal agreement to negotiate price when the car arrived. I take responsibility for being trusting and now I feel foolish. I realize that a price should have been agreed upon in writing before ordering the car. I had received a quote from an online dealer out of my area; however I wanted to do business locally so I went to South Bay Mercedes with the quote expecting a ballpark price. When I ordered the car, I was assured that the list price had wiggle room. WRONG. Dealer claimed a misunderstanding on my part and I paid full MSRP. He gave me $200. voucher to spend in their parts department.

I've been looking for a car for a couple of weeks since I had gotten into a car accident and the moment I emailed Mercedes Benz of South Bay, Edward Twum called me in a second after he got my email (that was really fast). He sent me all the information I needed, we scheduled an appointment right there and then and their sales manager (forgot his name) called me a couple of hours making sure I had a good experience just talking to Edward. As soon as we got to the dealership, which by the way had a huge selections of cars, I went ahead and looked for Edward, he greeted us with a smile and offered us drinks/coffee. Edward seemed so busy at that time but never forgot about us. He was by the way the only sales man I saw there running on and off, working so hard making sure everything is alright. We had a great experience doing business with him. He's very honest and very helpful. And when I text him every now and then to ask for help, he never hesitates to text back and/or call me back. He makes sure that I get all the help I needed. So if you're looking for a good honest sales person, he's your guy right here. So again, Edward Twum is your man.

I had a terrific experience with the service department. It was easy to get an appointment the same day I called (tip - Mondays are slow). Service adviser (Taidy) took great care of me and got me back on the road for less than the originally quoted price. I was very satisfied and will be back.

I traveled from North County San Diego to buy my car because this is the first dealership that actually listened to me and found me the exact car I wanted. Eric in sales went above and beyond for me. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service. There was no pressure and I walked out with EXACTLY the car I wanted from the wheels to the entertainment package. Anthony the sales manager made sure I was taken care of as well. I love my new GLC 300 4 Matic

I not sure where to start. The people at MB of SB were FANTASTIC. I recently purchased a 2015 Chrysler 300S that had been traded in. It was the BEST experience I have ever had buying a car from a dealer. Even though I was just a "working stiff" buying a used car, I was treated extremely well by everyone I dealt with. I have to personally thank Mina, Wil, Alberto, and Ty.
These gentlemen all treated me as they would have anyone buying one of the beautiful AMGs they have in their showroom. It was a pleasure to walk the showroom and look at the amazing AMGs. Too bad I couldn't afford one. The 300 S I bought is in very good condition and at an excellent price. I wouldn't be more satisfied if they gave it to me. I haven't been this estatic about a car since I bought a Dodge Charger when I was 19. I'm now 62. I couldn't take my old car and take my new one home as well so they allowed me to leave my old car there for a couple of days until I could get someone to help me pick it up. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MERCEDES BENZ of SOUTH BAY to anyone. Again, I have thank Mina, Wil, Albeto, and Ty for their service and professionalism.

I like Mercedes Benz of South Bay so much that once my lease was over I jumped into another lease with them. My salesperson Keith made my experience so easy. We worked via email and I gave him the details what I wanted for my next car. He chose the perfect car for me. Getting into my new car was so fast and effortless. Thanks also to Hector at finance for getting all my lease agreement done so fast and recommending the prepaid service. I highly would recommend South Bay benz to anyone looking for a luxury vehicle.

Reason why I chose to go with Mercedes-Benz South Bay, was because of how kind and non-pressured I felt when speaking with Emily. Emily, was very professional and genuine, and was very helpful with any questions I had.

What a great dealership!!! I was very fortunate to have a sells person that not only knew what he was doing but had a answer for every question I had. Though it took close to a month to get my deal done please note no dealership could match what Hayes and Gary the GM put together. Not one dealership! I love the sales people here and the facility is clean and welcoming. Bottom line if you want a good deal be honest and tell them what you can do and I promise they can make it happen. THANKS HAYES AND GARY FOR YOUR SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM. South bay is the best don't waste your time driving around like I did. Great dealership!
