This was the worst car-buying experience we've eve...

This was the worst car-buying experience we've ever had, and it's still not over as we can't get answers regarding where our license plates are after 2 months. We purchased our leased vehicle at lease expiration, and had issues with charges being added to the residual without our knowledge or consent, and the dealership adding prepaid maintenance then trying to force us to drop it due to their error. We've called multiple times to inquire about our plates - current plates are from out of state - and cannot get anyone to follow-up. We've had 5 Mercedes Benz vehicles over the past 12 years, and candidly, their service has slipped everywhere over the past several months. Our last interaction with our prior dealership involved them being dishonest, and MB Financial's customer service area has also been terrible - different answers every time we call, can't find our accounts, etc. We loved Mercedes for 12 years, but never again...looking to get out of these vehicles as soon as possible.

Hands down the best experience I've ever had! The sales staff all the way through to the finance department were absolutley magnificent! Everyone truly cared about you as a person as opposed to just another client walking in the door. I've been too many dealerships where just as soon as you get out the car dozens of salesmen immediately rush in, not here! You'll be treated with respect by all staff members and feel just as if your part of the Mercedes Benz family. I've bought many cars before and from now on i will be sticking to Mercedes Benz for life! Part of the family now! Special shout out to my man hayes and aaron in sales along with angela holding it down in finance! As for Everyone else i cannot thank you enough for you're sincere gratitude and caring attitude! I'll definitely be back if not just to visit, Y'all are all the best!!!!

Stay away! After I bought my $70,000 GL450 I had $12,000 worth of repairs in 7 years! I was told that i needed a new transmission and that they were going to charge me $150.00 just to tell me that-I was not going to put another penny into that car and the service manager Steve said that he would rather lose my business than waive the $150.00 fee! I was just in that week looking at another $70,000 car and that is how they treat there customers?! I was in shock and very upset that he would be so rude to me! I called the general manager twice and he never returned my calls. I will never buy a car from them or recommend anyone else. i got rid of that car and bought an Accura-which I love and should have gotten rid of that car a long time ago-expensive lesson!

The representative Lawrence was very knowledgeable...

The representative Lawrence was very knowledgeable about all of the Mercedes-Benz on the lot. He explained the different trims to us, and why they are named AMG or 4matic. He was able to show us the features in the car in less than 5mins. He wasn t pushing us into a car but explaining the difference in the models. The reason for my rating was due to the extremely low amount that was given on my trade. We purchased the vehicle less than a year ago and we owed about $30k on it. The dealership came back with a figure of $20k for the vehicle. Other than that my wife loves her Benz and all the capabilities of it. I will definitely be buying my next Benz from here.

I had a wonderful experience at Merc Benz of South Bay. Jin Cho helped me out and enlisted the support of a few of his team members. They made sure I felt great driving off the lot and that I had the best possible coverage on my lease package, at the rate I was comfortable paying. I had turned in a previous lease on a C250, and got the C300....she's a beauty and I love my new car!! Jin was accommodating, polite, very helpful and the whole team was supportive when I had a moment of having second thoughts and didn't know if I could do the deal. They didn't pressure me, instead they worked with me, stayed past closing time and made sure I left feeling comfortable and excited about the deal. Mission Accomplished!

We went to Mercedes dealerships all over LA, and the service we received at Mercedes-Benz of South Bay from Emily Anderson stood out by a mile. We started by reaching out to MB South Bay and a number of other dealerships to find the car we were looking for. I'm sure it's not easy as a dealership to deal with the amount of emails that come in that don't amount to anything. Emily's attention, responsiveness, attitude, and professionalism was so immediately refreshing and she was so easy to communicate with, that there was no question that we would end up buying from MB South Bay. When we met her in person these qualities stayed intact and she patiently sat with us going through every item on the contract, and found a car for us that had everything we were looking for. I always fear buying a new car and as long as Emily is around, I will now look forward to it.

I have been dealing with April for years, she is always very thorough, very clear about what needs to be done and very friendly which makes the whole experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend April and this dealership.

Frank Perri is the best service coordinator I've ever worked with, remembers past conversations, and makes us feel valued. He is courteous, listens to my concerns, keeps me informed, let's me know of potential services that will need attention at a future date, and works with me and my family's needs to ensure that we get in and out as expeditiously as possible. Kudos to Frank and the service department; they make it easy to be a loyal customer at South Bay Mercedes.

i own two cars purchased here since 2007....this dealership was always a shining star until the past few years where it has obvious lost something...or someone at the top has changed...the quality of service and attention to detail has hit an all time low, customer response is poor at best...and the service department is lacking the knowledgeable service partners like Zubair and John S...who are no longer there. After this last seevice visit, i will most likely move my business to another dealership. This is a top down issue...NOT the line service managers...people...pay attention!

Unbelievable experience. Had to call them 4 times...

Unbelievable experience. Had to call them 4 times before they told me my car was ready (took two days to get my car back). I drove the car out and once at home noticed oil dripping from underneath. Thought it was motor oil, but it turned out to be break fluid. Called them and have them tow my car back to their shop, still waiting for a courtesy call to let me know what are they doing...not good service at all. After 8 years with them...:-(

The service advisor did not call me about status of my car until near end of day and then told me there would be delays since there were so many cars in front of mine (which I brought in at 730 am). Then the loaner car was grimy on the inside. Also, they did not address an issue. Disappointing.

Bought a C300 from them in Oct-2018. Figured out next day that they over charged us by $1000. Met them the next day and they accepted it was a mistake/ human error. They promised to get it resolved in a week. It has been 4 months now with multiple phone calls and personal trips to the dealership but NO LUCK. They are polite and sweet, but they never live up to their promises. Lost trust in this dealership.

Spoke to the alleged sales manager (what a joke) emailed the invoice and only wanted my $230 back. Nothing haven t heard from anyone. Next call cooperate AutoNation. Fast forward a few days: I received a complete apology from the dealership as my issue slipped through the cracks and the upper management was assured I was handled. My issue has been resolved and I appreciate it. It was never the money just a principal that customer service/communication is very important to a successful business.

This is for the service support : Incompetency galore here. Receptionist answers the phone yawning... They do not perform Pre Purchase inspections. However if you ask for specific items they will check those. Not willing to work with a customer to get them taken care of. Hope this isn't what AMG ownership is going to look like.

I am very pleased with the certified pre-owned vehicle now that I finally have it, but purchasing (from out of state) from this dealership was painful. They were slow to respond to everything, never followed up as promised, and I had to push them every step of the way. If it hadn't been that I really wanted the car they were selling, I would definitely have bought from someone else. They made it WAY too hard. I wish my local Mercedes dealer had the certified pre-owned vehicle that I was looking for because they have always been wonderful to me. Mercedes-Benz of South Bay was the complete opposite.

He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He fully explained exactly what was required and made everything clear and concise. Our repairs were done ontime without any issues at all. We'll definitely be long time customers.

I bought my Mercedes-Benz ML 350 from Mercedes-Benz of South Bay, Torrance California on November 11, 2014. The sales person Mr. Aaron Rice was a very helpful person during my buying processes and he is knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I like my ML 350 and I like very much the tech except that there is no camera for the front during curbside parking. I have not yet experienced with the service department. I hope I will have the same good experiences.

Every dealership I called wanted $250 for a brand new key. These crooks wouldnt take anything less then $300. On top of that all I was doing was swapping out my old cracked plastic key to the newer chrome style and it was the same price of a brand new key, $300. Absolute crooks here, not too mention my MB lives in this stealership. Last time I take it to them.

Mercedes Benz-South Bay is a pleasure to work with. Everybody there from the receptionist to the sales manager is very professional and customer orientated. I exchanged a few emails with Lee the sales manager before I came into the store to work out which cars I liked and other financial details. The day I came in I had the pleasure to work with Doug as my salesman. Doug was knowledgeable, honest, and understood that customers do not want to spend 4 hours in a car dealership buying a car. He swiftly processed the paperwork and I was soon out the door with my new Mercedes Benz. Since this is my second car from MBSB, I can also attest to the service department also being a top notch department which treats customers with the utmost care and professionalism. I would highly recommend MBSB.

One of the best experiences I have had at a car dealership. This was the third car My wife and I have bought at South Bay Mercedes. Each time, I ve worked with Emily Anderson and that s who I will work with next time as well. Emily is a true professional, patient,and very easy to work with. More importantly, I trust her and I trust the dealership, something you don t always hear about car sales people. She was tireless in trying to find me what i wanted, whether on their lot, or somewhere else in the country. No upsell.

Every one else I dealt with at South Bay was great, whether the general manager or the finance guy. I ve probably been to 15 different car dealerships in LA over the past few years to test drive cars. None stack up to South Bay Mercedes.

I initially scheduled my appointment the week before for a re-check of my brakes, when I arrived for my appointment they said that they couldn't find my appointment. Even though I tried to show them my email confirmation and complain as to why then did I get this email, it seemed like both men did not care and they still took me in. I explained to Babak that I needed my car back same day, he said he would try his best for it to be done. He called with the dx findings within about couple hours and was ready with prices and was patient as I contemplated what I felt was most important to have fix at that time. He did not pressure me; he stated would get my car done as soon as possible. I was impressed that it did not take as long as when I took my car to the dealer at Signal Hill, which it seemed like they kept the whole day. I was in deed very satisfied with the prompt service I received from Torrance then taking it to Signal Hill, even though it is farther and out of my way. This place is WAY more better then Signal Hill when it comes to customer service and experience in fixing cars, highly recommend their service.

I had an prior appointment to fix a flat tire. My service advisor, Mr Lee is very nice and give me an estimate of 1 1/2 hour wait (which is much more than needed to do the job). The car was sitting there waiting for well over an hour without being moved to the shop. It end up 3 1/2 hours later when it was done. I asked Mr. Lee why does my car has to wait so long before it gets to be worked on as I already have an appointment for that service hour. He says the appointment DOES NOT mean much, it only gets you in. Otherwise the service department may not even take you if they are too busy. As for the service, the serviceman did not even check the pressures of other tires. The repaired tire ended up 4 PSI different from the other three. This is a very straight forward type of service job. Can you have a meaningful appointment system to provide this type of service so that the customer can make better planning of their time and schedule? Thank you very much.

I had a good experience working with Mercedes Benz of Southbay. My salesperson, Monika Travis, was super sweet and even bought me a cupcake for my birthday when I thought I was going to purchase a vehicle for my birthday. I continued to shop around, but came back to Mercedes Benz of Southbay because Monika stayed in touch with me through my car searching process and informed me that the vehicle I was interested in price lowered.

I contacted her after learning this information and the rest is history. I purchased a vehicle that suites my needs and for a great price. So thank you Mercedes Benz of Southbay and a special thank you to Monika Travis! I loved your personality from the start. You deserved the sale and I deserved the car! So yes, I am satisfied customer. Thank you.

Very disappointed with the quality of service at t...

Very disappointed with the quality of service at this dealership. Had 3 tires replaced. I picked up the car and drove off.
About 5 miles into the trip I switched over to the tire pressure screen. One tire was at 40 psi, another at 34, one at 36 and one at 37.
I called back when I arrived at my destination. I was told that it was NORMAL!!!!!! The range was acceptable, and the pressure was ok for a 2017 E300. If I was unhappy, I could bring it back to have it checked. I most certainly did. After years of being told by this particular dealership that my tires should be balanced, and the tire pressure should be even all the way around to prevent uneven thread wear. Now all of a sudden this was all right?????
So, I had to make another trip there. After a few minutes an attendant strolled over. I explained the problem. He looked at me blankly as if to say, what do you expect me to do? He said my service manager was out to lunch and started to walk off. I told him that he needed to get someone immediately or I would be posting a very negative review. Someone came out immediately.
This morning I took another car in for the required service. I was taken out to the loaner car. IT WAS SO DIRTY!!!!inside and out. I have been sitting here now for 1/2 hour, waiting for it to be washed.
Unfortunately, I have seen the quality of this dealership slowly deteriorate over the years.

The salesman "Jin Cho" is very helpful, very knowledgeable, kind and patience. I cannot ask for more. He shows me everything I needed to know for my new car. If I have more questions after the purchased, he will even pick up the phone while on his vacation with his family. The receptionist at the dealer is very helpful as well. She will try her best to contact the sales person or look for anyone available to help answer my questions. There's no doubt why Mercedes Benz of South Bay stays in business for a long time. When I brought in my car for service, everybody in the service department were all very helpful. They keep coming to check to see if anyone is helping me while seated at the lounge. I love the coffee section where you can self yourself with freshly brewed Starbucks coffee, snacks and fruits for free. I also love to shop at their branded merchandise, all made specially for Mercedes Benz. If you buy your car at this dealer with the best salesman "Jin Cho", you'll never regret! Trust me. I'd recommend to all my friends to check out MB of SB before buying any car.

Unfortunately, my experience was very bad this time. My Gucci Aviator ($400) was stolen from my car, and the service manager promised me that he will get the reimbursement check send immediately. As of today, I have not received the check or getting any respond from the service manager. I hope MB will do something about this situation.

The quality of service provided was top notch all the way. The ease of buying our first Benz was seriously too easy and trouble free. Our sales consultant was Jaunenito, he was very professional and at no point did we feel like we were being rushed into a decision. Before this we purchased 4 new Chevy vehicles over the years and the sales person or the closers were always pushy. Not here! Relaxed and pushy free environment. Would highly recommend them and we will be back for our next Mercedes.

Karol Powers and her manager Luke Girgis were very helpful. It s always stressful when getting a new car wether it s buying or leasing.
Not to mention a very long process.
But having people at the dealership that genuinely want to help you get the best deal and get you the car that you really like is something that makes the experience much better.
That is what Karol and Luke did for me.
They were patient and worked hard in getting me the deal that I needed to get the car that I liked. I was a hard negotiator when it came down to the numbers and the car that I wanted. But I could tell that they genuinely wanted to work with my terms even if the dealership had to absorb a few costs.
And I ended up with a car that i absolutely love and terms that I can happily live with!
Overall my experience with them was amazing!
I would definitely recommend them 100% and would be working again with them in the future.

We have been driving the Mercede car for more than 20 years, I am either buying or leasing the car from Mercedes-Benz of South Bay, Roger Wang has been the person I dealt with for many years and last week my wife replaced hers car with a new lease car, Roger was able to help my wife to get the car she likes, Roger's knowledge of Mercede car makes us very comfortable to finish the lease transation in 2 hours, both I and my wife were very happy to drive a new Mercedes car home.

Mercedes-Benz of South Bay is by far the best place to get a Mercedes. They are first class all the way, from their professionalism, friendliness, & knowledge.
Specifically, Mr. Jaunenito Pavon is the man you want to go see. He goes way above and beyond to ensure you leave with the vehicle you want and more importantly, with the deal you want!! He works efficiently and does not pressure or push. He makes you feel like you are the only consumer in the dealership with his attentiveness and customer service. So, if you are thinking of purchasing a Mercedes....definitely go to South Bay and ask for Juanenito Pavon and you will drive off the lot with one!!

I purchased my car 3 years ago at this place, and they didn t give me the spare key when I pick up my car. They give me a receipt and said will mail to me within 30 days but I never received it. I ve been calling them more than 20 times in 3 years and every time they said they will get back to me about keys but they never did. I am amazed by how awful the service is and they can just lie to you face. They only talk to get you to buy, and avoid you after you paid.

My name is Mabel. I have been visiting this facility for approximately 10 years, never felt so direspected in my life.
I scheduled appointment for Service B on Saturday 09/12/2015. I pulled up and was told my regular advisor Sonia was off today, and that I would be working with Reza. After a few minutes of waiting, Reza walks up to the car and appeared disappointed to see me. He never asked for the reason for my visit. Instead he orders me to turn my wheel all the way to the left and said, "yeah, you need alligment", he proceeded to point to the tires that and say I needed my tires replaced as well. I informed him the tires were recently changed, and he should have record of it, he then proceeded to sell me other items. I was shocked, I told him that usually the technician after inspecting the vehicle would make such recommendations. I said I was there for service B. He asked me to go to the office and take the second desk on the right. He came in later and proceeded to talk about spark plugs etc. He must have seen that I was irritated by this time, he pulled my info and the next words out of his mouth was "it's going to be $978 - can you afford it.

While I was sitting there two other customers walked up to him and I watched him interact with them in a very nice and courteous way. At that time I decided he would have treated me better if I wasn't a black female.

I said I was thinking of taking my vehicle somewhere else for service, he immediately closed the ticket and said goodbye, your car is still outside

Sales rep did a fabulous job for us. However, when it came time to process the sales documents, we were kept waiting for almost four hours before someone was available to help us.
