I've been here so many times over the years. It's delicious. I will continue to go back for more. Yum !
Today I returned a fried rice that had a hair wrapped !!!! I didn't ask for another one because I was so grossed out !!!! How is it possible that a restaurant at your level of paying a $ 40 plate has these mistakes.
Don't forget: you can go for lunch. There is a lunch menu featuring smaller portions of some of their better selling meals. The entertainment is still there. And the food is just as good. The best part of going for lunch is no waiting.
Me and family had the best chef. He was very funny and entertaining. I absolutely love this place. But I'm only giving 4stars due to the hour and a half wait. Overall a great place
Our chef Rafael was funny and super entertaining. Catered to our 2 grandkids of age 5 and 6. Food was great as well
It's a great place and really fun because the cook in front of you
Excellent place
The attention is wonderful
The food is delicious thanks for existing samurai
Lately quality has lacked. Overall, attention to detail has not been the same.
Amazing food, service was excellent, our chef was skilled, funny, and charismatic
It was my first time in this place and wow! The cheff was very friendly and funny, the food was amazing too and the experience was very gratifying. I would recomend though... that you go there knowing your clothes are gonna smell like food after you leave due to the nature of the service. But that shouldn't be an inconvenience if you already knew.
The service was great and Cristian, the cook, was very entertaining.
Kids took me out for my birthday, food and service was great. Enjoyed the evening with my family .
Tonight I had a horrible experience with this restaurant. When we sat down our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and i told her it was my wifes birthday. That was a waste because we never got a single "happy brithday" or any response or anything from the entire staff the entire night. Second strike, we ordered habatchi and never get all the courses of our meal. Then on top of it all the management staff(Willie) was tremendously rude when i presented the birthday coupon while paying my bill. He was completely unaccommodating and instead we were told either pay or he call the police. Never once did anyone asked how our dinner/experience was. Terrible customer service, very unpleasant attitudes, and a lack of management skills tonight has earned this restaurant this rating.
What a fun time! My wife and I loved it - was a little pricey, but it was totally worth it! Will definitely be back. Cook was awesome!
Delicious food and amazing experience, go in the happy our the price is cheap and worth it. for two people I usually pay 35$ during lunch hour.
Spectacular food. Always entertaining to watch it being made.
I wasn't all that impressed. The atmosphere was very nice, but the food was nothing special. The Hibachi wasn't all that great & niether was my Tuna Tataki
Love it the service and experience was outstanding good job
Amazing show and dinner experience! Highly recommend this place.
I ordered the Ocean Trio: lobster, shrimp and scallops. I didnt receive my lobster. Some other substitute meat and since I was on my lunch break I just discarded it and ate the shrimp and scallops. I expect to receive what I pay for since I have to PAY for it.
Two words.... Shrimp sauce! Best pink sauce in any Japanese steak house in Miami. As long as you have the sauce everything is good, but hold on to your wallet. Over priced but delicious.
Not a long wait even though it was busy for lunch time. Great waiter and entertaining chef. Food was delicious. I go here about once a month and I'm never disappointed. One thing, the bathroom should be cleaned more often.
Food is good but tend to forget items on take outs, it's sad to go back for stuff.
Timing is everything. The place draws a BIG dinner crowd, and if you don't get here early, you can spend A LOT of time waiting for a table -- especially if your party is under or over eight people. The food is fresh, the portions are ample, and kids always love the show! You won't leave hungry or disappointed.
The food is amazing and the chefs are great! Staff is great also
Long wait but it worth it. Good food and good service
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we LOVED it. Great food!
Best place for lunch or dinner.
Food and service are great. Just make sure you get there on time for lunch since they are very strict on lunch menu to finish at exactly 3:00 pm.
I like this place because they cook in front of you and if you have a birthday they song. To you
Love this place have been coming here for years. It's a great atmosphere with great food. If u are a first timer be prepared to wait a long period but it's all worth it also you have to share tables with other guests but that's all part of the experience. SAMURAI TRIPLE IS THE BEST.
Love this place! A little bit on the expensive side but the food is good and the portions are very generous.
I just love this place. Taste is always consistent and the cooks are nice!
Love this place, but lost a star because my tempura sushi roll was stone cold. Like, how does that happen? It's literally supposed to be fried.
My friends and I are regulars at this location. By regulars I mean we come in every single Sunday to enjoy of your great food. The only complaint we have is how horribly hot it is in the restaurant. It is understandable that you have live cooking going on at all times around the dining area but it is pretty ridiculous. I have a 1 year old daughter that drenches in sweat every time we have dinner at this location. When we ask employees they say it's the managers who don't like to turn the AC cooler for cost and and saving purposes. When we ask management they say the AC unit is on full blast which is either not true or you guys need a stronger AC unit. With the amount of profit that I'm sure you guys make off of the high prices on your menu, it really does not make sense. I am not saying that this is going to end our addiction with your restaurant but we would truly appreciate it if you would take our complaint into consideration.
The clearance and service was so amazing best place I've been with my family for a while
Waited for our favorite chef, Robert. He makes you want to go back.
Samurai has been a Falls Mall area staple for many years. Years ago this and Benihana's were really your only choices for upscale Japanese. Today I can say its no longer worth the trip. The meals were always on the pricey side for dinner/cooking show from your table side chef. Unfortunately for the money the show part is just like all the others you may have already seen and the chefs don't seem to want to be creative with their shows. But the the top reason just to avoid Samurai, the oily - greasy smell which will stick to your clothes after your meal. I came home had to shower off the smell.
Service was.not great, food was good and the presentation was rush
There is always a long wait and there are no reservations. If you're looking for a good Hitachi style restaurant, I recommend Aoki in Dadeland Mall.
Been coming here since I was a kid great food. You just can't go wrong with this place!!!
Awesome service from Bernie, he was very entertaining from start to finish while cooking dor my table and the food came out great so much flavor. Definitely a repeat!!!
A spectacular place for dinner, very satisfied, excellent chefs,
Great attention, very appetizing food, very well made, a taste and smell that leaves one with a desire to return.
This is an cooking experience. Chefs prepare food in front of you. Prices are good. Not a quick in and out place. Good food!
Dinner was a 5 course meal prepared at your table and the price is reasonable.
Ive tried other restaurants similar to this one, and this one is overrated honestly, the food is the same as the others, but service is worse.
Love this place the service was incredible it was my boyfriend's birthday they honored his birthday with a cake and very good service
Best hibachi I have ever been to. Way better than Benihana (which is strange since common ownership/theme). Sauce is the boss.
Bad reviews here have to be disgruntled anomalies. We've been here 20+ times - great/consistent experience every time.
Waiting on my birthday coupon but the food is awesome
Always an enjoyable place to go. Food and service outstanding.
Love the environment.... Beautiful.... Awesome food....
Every time I come here I have a good time. Food is great and good drinks
I love it!!! Love it!!!! 1st time there with a date and amazingly impressed. The attention is great, the cook does fascinating tricks, they cook, toss, and serve the food right infront of you. They have that orange curry sauce which you pour over the fried rice, I wish I knew the name, its very creamy and tasty. Their steak and Lobster is really good. I do not like the format of the tables though because if you try to go for a little privacy and intimacy, you cant get that because their tables seat in large quantities and you end up sitting amongs strangers you do not know and everyones food gets cooked together. So if youre trying to have a spicy date, this is not the place to get your sparks going lol. But theres always after dinner for that, while you are here ENJOY the food!
