Good food but waiting time is ridiculous!

Why dont they offer reservations. Almost 2 hours in something could have been better. By time u walked inside we were f exsauted, if they severed

Is this place ever a bad choice? Maybe if your cook is not entertaining. But I have always had a great time with friends and family.

Excellent atmosphere and service. The food was awesome. Lunch time has discount prices. The pink sauce goes well with everything! The restaurant it self is very nice and has a relaxing vibe. The service is very professional! and the cooks are right in front of you just in case you have any special requests for the food you order. I have been coming here for years and the employees are always nice and professional. I hope to see you soon keep up the good work.

Food is amazing but some Chefs are just hood guys with tats who cook mediocre. Just wish all chefs were great so I'm not gambling on a 250 dollars bill that I might not be happy about

First time dining at Samurai and I can tell you that the overall food & waitstaff were pretty good; however, my family and I were there for the show, which never came. They sat the 3 of us with a husband & wife that had 3 small kids (it is Saturday night for heavens sake). If I wanted to dine with kids, I would have stayed home. Now, our chef was trying to seem interested, but who could blame him for not giving it a 100% since he was trying to show-off his talents to a 3month old, a 1 year old, and a 6 old child at our table. Yes I am pissed, especially because our bill was $115 which I would have gladly paid with a smile if the food & atmosphere were worth it. My suggestion: have your girls upfront do more then just hand-out pagers. Have them actually give a damn about customer service and overall customer satisfaction. If I am young attractive family, then sit us with other similar couples. That is just common sense. We live in a city where those things are rarely done; however, your restaurant is in the (Show) business. You could have done much better for me & my family. Lastly, I will NEVER be back as there are way too many other places that I know actually care about their customers' needs. You let 18 & 19 year girls (Hostesses)run your business which is guaranteed to fail; Managers wake-up and get involved in your business! If this message deters just one potential patron, then I have done my job. By the way, no Manager came by at any time to ask how everything was going. That tells me all I need to know!!

Fresh meal and they cook right in front of you. Depending on the mood of staffs service will either be joyful or bitter. #SAMURAI

Great experience and the food was good. For me Hibachi is all about the people around you and the atmosphere. I like it better than the other people.

Huge fan of this place. Been coming here for over 25yrs. VERY disappointed to find out they no longer offer the lunch special on the weekends. For the past 15yrs I've been flying back just to visit the restaurant. Make sure to get the pink / shrimp sauce. Get extra. It's holistic. Not too keen on the new mandatory valet parking on the weekends either, but the parking lot has always been challenge especially coming from the west.

Post apocalypse dining for the first time. It was awesome. Had a Sapporo and the lunch specials with a side of spicy chicken fried rice. It was plentiful and delightful! Thanks Samurai! Wish I would have taken pictures. We sat at a table not the Hibachi grill. I was told the food comes out faster. It did.

Very Nice! The staff even packed your doggie bag items as well. I'm always looking at how professional the staff are. The cleanliness, the staffs' uniform, just everything! I did have a nice experience.

2 hour wait, and the three girls at the front were goofing off the whole time and extremely rude with all interactions had with the customers (including myself).

How was it? So good, it was packed on a Wednesday night! We waited 80mins for our table. Once there, it was a great fun experience!

Awesome service! I have been there several times and all the Chef's are super friendly. I have not been unsatisfied not even one time.

Every time you step into Samurai you can spend $200-$400 easily, so why can't management get it together with the overall cleanliness of the place?
This past Friday, I invited my staff for a team building dinner. The entire restaurant was just disgusting.
I was embarrassed, as I had suggested Samurai in the first place.
As we waited patiently for our table, we saw vegetables littered throughout the hostess area floor.
In the women's bathroom, two stalls were "out of order." One of the working stalls looked like it had not been cleaned in days.
Toilet paper littered everywhere, reeked of urine, soap dripping onto the floor from the dispensers.
As another reviewer previously mentioned, it pours inside the restaurant. No, really it does... I sat at dinner for almost an hour and a half with a stream of water coming from the ceiling right next to our dining table.
You really have to wonder if this place is being inspected thoroughly.

Dinner was average, not the delicious Samurai you would normally expect. Our chef acted like he had more important things to do. Gave us tons of attitude and made sly comments. We were extremely gracious, thanked him, tipped him well and left. Everyone was relieved to get out of there.

This place was absolutely an amazing experience that I will never forget. My beautiful daughter invited me out to dinner here and it was so much fun. The chefs here are so fun and love to entertain the guest, it is so funny and entertaining. I would highly recommend you visit Samurai atleast once and I can promise you will be back. The food is of the highest quality and freshness that you can get, plus you watch it all be prepared right in front of you. One last tip, try the Samurai Punch (alcoholic) it was soooo delish! Drink responsibly people. And enjoy the show

Great show from the chef. A bit slow on the seating.

Way over priced. Ok food the cook and waiters look like they where lossing it cook keep droping things and did have proper bowls or plates in the cart and waiter was no where to be found after taking our order. And tge check was done wrong but we had enough and jest wanted to get out of there

A great Japanese hibachi restaurant in South Florida. Expect 30 min waits + especially on weekend's but the experience is worth the wait especially if attending with a group of friends. I recommend the Samurai triple with "double white" sauce. Enjoy and try and come for a birthday ;)

Love this place! We have been going here for over 10 years for the delicious food. You can choose to sit at a private table or even the bar if you don't want to sit at the hibachi grill. But that part is wonderful if you have the time. Full menu is available wherever you sit to eat. The staff is wonderful and Anne is our favorite Server! Everything is delicious and everyone leaves this place stuffed. Only downsides are that it gets busy and they don't accept reservations and also you will smell like cooked food when you leave.

Very great place, love the temp inside very cold, but when you get the table will be perfect with the little show.

The overall visit went well. The staff was friendly and attentive. However we waited roughly 40min. before being seated, which wasn't an issue (no complaints there) we expected to wait an hour before being seated. The only problem we had was waiting nearly 40-50min. before our chef was able to come over and start cooking. This was the complaint with my party and the party whom we shared the hibachi with. Once we started eating our complaints disappeared

Great place to eat delicious food, drinks and have lots of fun. Having customer courtesy valet parking is very convenient.

Good place to visit and watch the cooks put on a show. The food is good. Very greasy with all that butter they use to cook with. The veggies are strange. Its just different. Staff is nice. Enjoy the show.

Amazing food. Was told 1hr wait,was seated in 20 minutes. Tables are for minimum 8 persons. If your group is not 8 persons, your party will be seated with others. Our chef wad great at entertaining both the young and older. At our table was a person allergic to shrimp. Precautions were taken to keep a clean cooking area for her and utensils to cook her food were also different and she was served first. Then shrimp meals prepared. It is a bit expensive, but it is one of our special treat places.

If you like sushi or Japanese cuisine, Samurai is the place to go in Miami. People love this restaurant, sooo get ready to pay the price. And I am not talking about money. Monday -Thursday between 10 min to 1 hour waiting. Weekend- good luck. Sometimes up to two hours. And this is Miami. Late won t help you. 10-10:30pm still packed. Has free valet and that s very helpful. Parking is little cramped. The good news is they have very big bar. This way when you waiting you can have a drink and appetizer. After you are seated will take another half hour before the chef show up. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. While you are waiting you get your drink, a soup and a salad. Cooking is a show specially if you are with a kids. Very entertaining. The food is always delicious. Doesn t matter what you order everything it s prepared awesome. The chicken fried rice it s a must try. It s not cheap but usually you will leave the restaurant with a bag with one more meal for the house. Portions are very generous. Once you visit this restaurant you end up always coming back. Great family dining experience.

It's limited parking the lot is so small and if there is no parking in the front they have to valet ur car or u have to park nxt door and walk

Food is okay but for the money you can get so much more. You go mainly for their experience of someone cooking for you. But paying $30 for 6 shrimp and some chicken is not my cup of tea

Love it. Great fun. Food is bomb as heck. And my two favorite cooks are always great. going for my birthday on Friday. Cant wait to chow down and eat my bday cake. P.s. benihana is ok but samurai makes the sauces a million times better.

I been here several times and truly enjoyed being with family celebrating another birthday but today started off being disappointing. We requested a booster chair and when we got to the table it was filthy. We moved it to the side and waitresses walked all around it. Finally a hostess noticedand replaced it.

After that everything went fabulous! Chef was entertaining and our waitress was personable. Would most definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to coming back!

I grew up eating at Samurai. They have consistently been Great!

I haven't been here is quite a few years and was shocked by the prices. Granted it was Saturday so there was no lunch specials. $26 for lunch is a little too much for me.
