Very good as all hibachi style restaurants. Repetitive in the serving style makes it a bit dull but has some few chefs that are different which makes it more fun.

LOVE this place and the simplicity of concept! Great music, chill ambience and tasty hand rolls, what more can one ask for, honestly. I got to try the toro, yellowtail, crab and uni (special of the night). My favorite was the toro and uni. I wished they would open a location in the Bay Area!

If you tried Benihana's and think that was good try the samurai you will never want to go back to Benihana's food is great fresh the rice is amazing that lobster sauce is to die for I had the shrimp and steak and let me tell you you haven't had shrimp and steak like this until you try the samurai

Samurai is a busy restaurant so the waiting time can be up to an hour (my experience). I chose to wait and while doing so we sat at the bar and enjoyed good conversation and refreshing drinks. When we got seated the show commenced with the preparation of the food with some showmanship. Enjoyed the show but received my meals in parts with a wait in between each portion, so did not like that. The sushi was great however and the stake was enjoyable. The bill was bit high but I guess it included the show.

Great family atmosphere and a place where you can make new friends right at your table. The food on the other hand not so great. I orderd scallops and they were over cooked as well as my shrimp. Our cook was nice however he looked like he had a long and day wasnt giving 100%.

Honestly it was my first time dining there but also i have always been told its a great place to eat. I am more of a quality person and i think thats where they failed to win me over. Service was alright but could definitely be a lot better.

LOVE IT

I went on a Sunday early evening and things went quite well. There use only one way to enter/exit the parking lot so if you miss it it's a real pain to get turned around to get back in. There wad complimentary valet which was nice. The waiting area was rather cramped since there were a lot of others waiting and about a 40 minute wait for a table. Once seated we were promptly given drinks that were ordered and we placed a meal order. A few items were sent out much earlier then expected since they weren't hibachi items. The chef came and made our food well. The server was attentive and helpful. The only downside is it's very loud and difficult to hear anyone that isn't seated directly next to you. So you basically have to yell to speak to the other side of the table.

I'm never the one to play the victim at all. But I believe I was just discriminated against. Upon arrival me and my friend placed an order over the phone for pick up. I explained that I wanted our orders seperate. The young lady on the phone said ok.

Get to the restaurant our order is not seperate. I explained to the woman behind the pick up counter that i asked for it to be seperate. She gave me a look of annoyance and said "oh you want it seperate ok". So she goes to the back seperates the two orders in seperate bags then comes back.

I pay for my order which was 36 dollars. I gave the cashier 40 I was going to tell her to keep the change, but she walked to the back with the money....5 mins later, an older gentlemen who appeared to be Japanese comes out with change from my order in his left hand and my friends change in the right, saying loud enough for the restaurant to hear "here is your 4 Dollar change and you, here is your 3.50 dollar change!" And he said it LOUD as if to intentionally try to embarrass us. And sat the money on the table infront of us instead of in our hands

To make matters worse wen I got to the car we noticed neither of us received our soup or salad. So when I go back in the same female cashier at the pick up counter is there. I explained that we were missing our soup and salad . she replied "oh you want soup and salad?" Which I thought was odd because sup and salad automatically comes with a dinner. She brings the salad and soup. When I tell you the soup was cold as if it jus came out of the fridge. I swear on my 2 children. I will honestly say the food is delicious as always. But I felt descriminated against. So if you are a minority be aware

We went for a birthday and to our surprise the AC broke down they didn't even offer information of when they were going to fix it neither did they offer a comp of any kind I'll never go there again

The chef, Carlos, was very entertaining. The food was delicious! I highly recommend Samurai!

I went to Samurai yesterday for my uncle birthday and it was my first time there. The service was great, Jamie was the cook and he did amazing job on the food. It was great, I loved the food, and I hope I can come again

It is a terrible place with terrible service and very bad food. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare and they served me some small pieces of overcooked meat ... I do not recommend it at all, and the worst thing is that the supervisor does not offer any intelligent explanation ... One star and I gave him a lot ... People usually come here to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, etc. You ll be at a chef table with a few other people whom you ve never met...and the chef will make the dish you want in front of you. It s cool to see the chef cook it and do little tricks and games with the food, but I was a little bummed that I didn t have the whole table for myself and my family. If I remember correctly, 8 people fit at a table. So if your party is smaller than that, you ll have others next to you. Luckily the people that I dined with were pretty calm and happy to be there. I looked at some other tables and some guests were guetting a little rowdy. Guess it s up to luck!

The attention is excellent, the food is delicious, they are prepared at your table with a show included. Special for children to entertain themselves. Table is shared if they are few and the waiting time is quite long but it is worth knowing the place.

We had a great time ! Our chef Robert was so talented and funny, he really made our first time at Samurai a memorable one

I loved this place but the service is going bad, the more I go the less I like it, besides it's $$$ is not worth it sometimes,some of the chefs are great but if you are not lucky you get a mediocre chef that doesn't mixed the fried rice well and your meet will not have the garlic butter dissolve correctly. Soup cold for take out not always but manager insists they are I guess they are not all on the same page and need time more unified. Went for lunch on valentines order shrimps and the server didn't bother to ask if I wanted the lunch or dinner portion when I told her I wanted the dinner she was rude and replied I know :/ I guess they are also hiring physic, missed items from order, and took forever with the drinks.If you are happy the first time don't make this a routine restaurant so you don't get disappointed.

Go if you're hungry. They make some of the best shrimp you'll ever have, bar none. It's not cheap, but by the time you roll out of there, you'll know you've eaten and, it'll be good. The wait staff can be a little hit and miss sometimes, but not to where it's a problem. The chefs are amazing to watch.

Good tasting food, disappointed in that the cook cuts meat, vegetables etc... All together for your party and strangers sharing the communal table. Then he served it very disproportionately giving the lion's share to the people in the other party. It was obvious that the cook had had those people before and it showed. We paid equally but were served 30 to 40% less food.
Cook first divided equal portions, once done there was a considerable amount left on the cook top which he proceeded to portion up to the other people's plates ignoring my party completely.

Service and food is amazing. Erica the waitress is top notch! Will be back again

Always a treat! My family and I love Samurai. The food is delicious. This place got me to not just like but start eating shrimp regularly.
