First time at Sony Centre for the Harry Potter in concert series - beautiful idea to bring the concert experience to a larger (and somewhat younger than the average classical concert goers) audience.

The venue was very easy to find and tons of pay parking all around, my biggest issue was the chairs in the balcony where myself and my wife sat. They are very small and have metal cup holders which dug into our hips for the whole show we saw. They should just make it known where the larger seats are so next time myself and wife wont have weird line bruises on our hips :)

I attended a show this past weekend called Pepperland. I didn't enjoy it. Period. But this isn't about the show.
As this was my first time going to this Centre, I really didn't know what to expect. The first thing I noticed was how very clean the place was. From the entrance, to the bar, to the bathroom, and to the theatre itself - everything was clean and spotless.
Second, it was enjoyable to be able to purchase an alcoholic beverage and bring it into the theatre itself. That's something that's more of a faux-pas when it comes to the Arts and their theatres. So a star for that.
Third, the theatre. As mentioned before, it was very clean. The seats were comfortable and came with an accessible drink holder. Acoustics from the music were great. No real issues whatsoever.
My only gripe, and the only reason I deducted a star, was for the leveling of the seats. The leveling was shallow. Even an average height person (me being 5'9"), had an issue with a shorter woman in front of me.
Nonetheless, The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts was a great place to see a show.

Sony theater for the arts is located in the middle of downtown Toronto. This is a beautifully designed theater. Its seating arrangement is excellent. The sound is awesome. The characters voices are clearly heard throughout the theater. There are no bad seats! All seats are comfortable and the theater is air conditioned.

Every Ceat is in a good view of the stage and we feel very comfortable the air condition was fine not two cold and not to warn

I've been here a bunch of times for stand up comedian shows as well as the Harry Potter symphony. The snacks are quite limited, usually only chips and candy (I would love to see some popcorn). Drink selection includes around 2 choices of red and white wine, a couple tall cans of beer, JD tall can and maybe something else I can't remember. Aside from regular coffee and water. Prices are expensive, I paid for 2 wines and 1 beer and it was around $40.
Definitely worth paying more to be closer to the stage. I was in the balcony bear the back once and the comedian on stage was the size of an ant. I wouldn't pay for those tickets again. Even if you're at the sides but in the orchestra section close to the front it would be more worth it.

Went to Meridian Hall to watch the Nutcracker with my daughter and two friends.

The venue is gorgeous and very clean. All the staff are extremely professional, and very friendly.

The operations teams here is very well trained in customer service.

I parked in the parking garage across the street beside St. Lawrence Center for the Arts.

Bars and concessions conveniently located on all floors.

Will certainly be back for all the other shows to come.

We went and saw Rhett and Link live. We had balcony seats and the chairs were so uncomfortable. I feel like the seats should be upgraded. But I did enjoy the venue, but I don t know if I would see another show here due to the seats.

Great place and location close to union Station so taking the GO train in from the suburbs is very convenient. If you're over 5'10" the seats in the Orchestra area are a little tight. I also think they should expand their snack options a little. But overall great experience, we watch the Illusionists!

Great stage great sound great lighting. Good seats. But there is a slight rundown feeling especially in the basement bar. Tape stuck on one of the stairs. But the toilets were amazing clean. Or maybe the patrons were not sloppy.

The Sony center has really excellent sound quality. It far surpasses the Air Canada Center in terms of concert experience. Even seats near the back on the balcony have decent views of the stage and great sound. As a venue it is easy to enter and exit after the show, washrooms are clean and not overly crowded. The refreshments are simple, beer, water, coffee, pop. Overall a great venue, will definitely attend concerts and shows here.

The service was 10* out of 5. The people on the phone, the door person, the box office, the servers, ushers and security were all knowledgeable, polite and went the extra mile on everything.
The place was spotless (even the women's bathroom, & after a concert that is no small feat).
The sound was excellent.
I really wish the chairs were higher so there would be more leg room.
Other than that, I had an amazing time, thank you.

Saw Spongebob the Musical. Was hilarious. Stage is very nice and seating is excellent. We were in the back and still had a great view. Lobby is large with multiple bar and snack areas. Not a lot of seating or standing space when waiting for doors to open however. And when the doors open it gets very cramped with the people headed to their seats and vendor stall lines getting clumped up.

Hadn't been here since it was called the Hummingbird Center lol long time! But it was very well organized for the concert we went to, the grounds, seats, staff, everything was great. Could use a bit of attention in its washrooms...

Saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Ft. The Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Outstanding as usual!
Only downside was the $30 event parking fee. Search around, there are lots of great lots for much less.
