We've been attending the Thousand Islands Playhouse since it opened decades ago. The first two productions this season, Boom Boom and the $1Million Quartet, were spectacular. We've always enjoyed the productions but the level of professionalism reached new heights these past few years. Artistic Director Leslie Corcoran certainly deserves much of the credit. I'm sorry to just learn that she is leaving.

Great play, setting and activity. Be mindful of scheduling your visit as plays are not in function all the time. I also recommend reserving online at least one day in advance because the best spots go out fast.

The place has private parking but I believe you can easily park in the street if there's no space.

Five of the most accomplished musicians in Canada in 5 days! Who could ask for anything more? Angela Hewitt, James Ehnes, Janina Fiolkowska, Isabel Bayrakdarian, Ben Heppner, and more. Add in the wonderful location on the banks of the St. Lawrence and we have a match made in heaven.

If you are visiting Gananoque you need to set aside one evening to see a play here! Fabulous venue right on the water (makes for a great intermission - eating snacks/drinks while enjoying the beautiful views out over the water). We saw the Anne of Green Gables show and it was a tremendous performance! Highly recommend!

City quality theater in a gorgeous rural setting. A must visit location. If you are in the area make time to see a production. Come early enough to have a glass of wine overlooking the river - amazing!

Relaxed atmosphere. Alcohol is offered and can be taken into the theatre. Never far from the action any seat in the middle is great!

We had a great time watching "The Canadian" on August 4th. This was a funny original presentation. The theatre is a perfect size with every seat being great!
Gananoque also has some great restaurants too! We started our evening with amazing prime rib at the Glen House
