I saw a one person show called Person Of Interest in one of the smaller theaters and it was spectacular. The room wasn't anything special, but it was the perfect place for the performance nonetheless.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. For example: on the night I visited, a man dropped his presto card on our way out. One of the staff members went around the building to see if anyone had lost it, and even made an attempt to go outside and around the corner to where someone may be headed toward a bus. The staff member eventually came back in, and was about to leave a note with it behind the counter when a man came back in to see if anyone had found his card by chance.

This place has staff that go well above and beyond their duties, and is the kind of place I would happily spend my time and money. Institutions with great staff, are institutions with great values.

Went and saw Hawksley Workman's 'The God That Comes' a few years ago with the wife, and was very pleasantly surprised by just how unique and cool this venue is. Highly recommended, and from what I understand they usually get some great shows here!

My wife and I took in the show Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story this evening and it was wonderful. Wow! The music was lead by a powerful performance by Ben Caplan and I highly recommend getting your tickets now before they're sold out and the show has moved on!

If you're under 35 they have a very reasonably priced tickets for both subscriptions and single performances and you can buy rush tickets online on the same day of the performance (AMAZING).

Fantastic volunteers and shows with an emphasis on new Canadian works. I've never been disappointed here.

Smaller intimite theatre in converted building. Still sat ~150+ people. This means no seats miles away from the stage. We saw the Inook play of Kivvig. Wonderful use of actors and on stage moveable screens. Chairs were of an improved stackable design which is why I held off on 5 stars. For a local theatre it was superb.

The Tarragon Theater is about as good as it gets when you're looking for incredible local talent, and a play you've never seen before . Their plays are written in-house by local playwrights and the spaces are always aesthetic and professionally designed. If you're looking for hip, original, and cutting edge theater, look no further.

We saw "Copy that" and it was all around incredible. Gripping and a sight to see. Not the first time we've been to this theatre and it most definitely will not be the last. A fine contributor to the Arts in Toronto.

Absolutely love this theatre. Have been into the mainstage and other stage. Friendly staff amd good performances. Favourite is Marine Life, I would come back to see Marine Life again! Fantastic play with only 3 actors! The theatre itself is on the edge of a neighbourhood and very close to the college. Cute surrounding neighbourhood eith Casa Loma nearby.

Nice small space. The audience is staged super steep, so it's easy to see the stage. The waiting area is small but still feels "open". There was food after the play which was nice. I believe they also do drinks on some nights.

This is a great little live theatre space. It's really intimate! The front row seats put you right in the action! It's easy to get to by public transit but there is also a big parking lot just across the street.

It's great that artists have a place to share their craft. The Fringe Festival at Tarragon Theatre is such a place. Be advised however, the theatre has a late zero-tolerance policy so be on time or you won't get in. They sold me a can of pop but then advised me that the only item allowed in the theater was bottled water. Good to know.

The Tarragon Theatre is one of my favourite small theatres in Toronto. I saw an outstanding performance of Daniel MacIvor's "New Magic Valley Fun Town" last night, in the Mainspace. The theatre was large enough to accommodate many patrons, but still intimate enough for the audience to really connect with the actors.
The seats were comfortable, the space was well-equipped, the staff was extremely pleasant, and the facility itself looked clean and well-maintained.
From start to finish, our experience at the Tarragon Theatre was wonderful in every respect.

I just had the absolute pleasure of attending, The Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes. Amazing! So well written and acted. Everything was spot on! I would love to see this again.
The theatre was great. A small cozy atmosphere.

The Message was Incredible!

The Message was Incredible!

Contrary to STEPHEN LUBIN, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I could not not pay close intense attention.
