Seated promptly and the food was perfect!
Hostess and waitress very friendly

Good enough to eat, but subsequent additions are a bit slow

Very solid BBQ, the redneck eggrolls are always great. Over the last few years, it seems like portion sizes and quality have gone down a bit, so I would recommend going to Four Rivers across the street if you are looking for BBQ.

Our experience at Sonny s on Archer Road was awful!! Our server was AWESOME Tyler was his name he was very attentive, polite, and making sure we had what we needed he did his job and then some... But it was SO cold in there that our food was as cold as our hands. And when I went up to the front to talk tot he manager that was TOTALLY USELESS!!!!!! He didn t even offer to ATLEAST replace the sides or even ask me if there was anything he could do other than no one else had complained and he would check the ac they put a lock box on it so that the servers wouldn t be able to turn it off and on.. Anyway, moral to the story we just got our food got up and left.. Not to mention we paid fifty dollars to have cold food... So make sure that you don t sit under the ac vent because if you do you will have ice cold food literally...

I wanted to like Sonny's, but the bbq was just okay. I think it depends on what you get. The other 3 people that I was dining with really liked their meals. I had pulled pork and marbled brisket. The marbled brisket was all fat and grisly, not at all meaty. I like marbled brisket because it adds so much flavor, but this was inedible. The pulled pork was good. The sides were average. I will give it another shot, but I will try something else

Boy oh boy do I miss the old style of Sonny s archer before the new building. It had a more homely atmosphere. Anyways, nostalgia set aside this location is really good. I cook bbq so I understand the labor of love it takes to make every batch perfect. I always get the St Louis dry rub ribs so my opinion on other food doesn t matter too much. I remember years ago Sonny s was mediocre bbq but now they have had a renaissance. Actually see smoke rings and the smokers plus all the wood. I don t believe this is industrial smoked or brine packed like some bbq chains but this is the real deal. As a bbq purist I don t like sauce I like the meat and smoke do the talkin . With that being said, my only gripe is make sure cooking utensils don t get cross contaminated with other food s sauce and flavors. I went there once and they were using the same tongs for wet ribs and dry ribs which in my opinion ruins the flavor. Other than that minor complaint, keep up the fantastic work.

The pulled pork was devoid of flavor and was largely inedible without supplemental barbecue sauce while the baked beans had an overpowering amount of tomato paste. Very dissatisfied and left without finishing 1/3rd of the meal. I will never come back here again.

We had good service and the food came out fast. The pulled pork was delicious. I thought the ribs were a little dry and they had a very uninspired list of beers on tap. They do have a variery of sauces at the table which were all good. Overall it was a great meal after being on the road all day!

My wife and I ordered the sample plate to share, and we ate and ate and ate. That plus the Ursa IPA beer made a fantastic meal. Our server was perfect.

Sonnys has best all you can eat sweat n Smokey ribs it wasn't tough or hard to chew it was just right for my three plates of my.

One of the cleanest, nicest Sonny's bbq I've been to. Newer location, nice staff, great food.

Food was good, service not so much. Server was more intent on cleaning, than noticing we needed a check, refills, or anything. We went to the front to be cashed out, still had to wait for the server being that no one else can take care of payment. (I understand). Server got our bills, and again left us standing, waiting, and wondering who to give the receipts back to. All in all, we could have all walked in the bills, and no one would have noticed a thing. No right, but would have been deserved.

Called in order they gave me approximate time to come to get my order, friendly got what I ordered.

This location has been very fast everytime I go which is great as we often stop while traveling. Food is what you would expect for sonnys, not the best bbq but hot and consistent. This place is an above average sonnys for me purely because its clean, quick, and the staff has always been pleasant to me. Went there on a friday night at 7 and were still done and back on the road in 35 minutes.

What happened to the bananas in the banana pudding? I was disappointed.

What is not to love in good BBQ? Sonny's is a "must go". Good beer and wonderful BBQ!

As always a good dining experience. Food is consistent from visit to visit and one of the better examples of the Sonny's fare as I have partaken.

Fast friendly service, good tasting food. Our waiter AJ was the best.

Probably the best BBQ chain I've been to. You get to choose two sides if you're drinking water, no extra charge! Really friendly staff at this location too.

Beef brisket sandwich was delish. I asked for sliced not chopped. I got the chopped. Therefore 4 stars.

The service is incredible, but the quality of food has gone downhill big time. Pulled pork looks like it went through a blender. Sliced meats COVERED in fat. This shows it's clearly not the cooks' fault, it's the company giving them subpar food to cook with.

The food tasted nothing like the Sonny's in Silver Springs. The service was good.

Ask for fresh,hot sliced pork
Got cold pork like it was taken out of the cooler and microwaved
The garlic bread was stale, the baked beans were pork beans and bbq sauce and were just warm. I'm 62 and remember when sonny

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Update corporate office is sending me meal certificate for the two other people and myself to give Sonnys another try. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

New update as of December 29th no meal tickets. Wondering if corporate is truly concerned about the customer I contacted them and spoke to a corporate member but so far that's it.

January 4th got tickets and tried sonnys again this time every thing was excellent. It might have been the letter from corporate but it was a great dinning experience. Thank you sonnys team for restoring my confidence in your establishment

Haven't had Sonny's in years and decided to grab some for dinner to go. SO DELICIOUS! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was bc the Togo server wasn't rude,she just wasn't very friendly. Other than that it was great!

The fatty brisket made me sick but my family liked the pulled pork.

Its Sonny's, what's not to love. Service was great and food was even better.

It was the absolute worst one is ever been in my life. They did not have baby back ribs. The ribs they bought or boiled hard chewy. Brought my wife the wrong type of fries bought my wife the wrong type of chicken. And still was charged over $30 for stuff that was unfit to eat.

We decided to sit at the bar this time and very satisfied with the service and the food was great as usual, multiple employees made sure we were taken care of and had some laughs too. Plus there were two big screen TVs close enough to view at the same time... The staff were very polite &worked together as a great team and crew...thanks again!

The sweet tea isn't right. I only got the salad bar. There was a hair in my salad. I told our server, as she rolled her eyes, she took my plate. Her sad apology was barely audible. No mention of taking anything off. Our silverware was taken before my friend was done eating. So many wrongs. I'm done.

Ate at Sonnys all over Florida. Only found two bad. Great sliced pork.

Order to go went very well. Food done up very nicely and still hot when we got home. St Louis dry rub was very good but my wife claimed they were too dry. I loved the baked beans but she said they were too tangy. I didn't care much for the potato salad but she liked it. They gave us two extra ribs and an extra garlic bread that was delicious. Price of meal was 10 dollars. Very reasonable.

The food came out all wrong for all parties at the table and waiter was too busy with all of his other tables to tend to use, so we had to do a lot of waiting

My first ever eating there and the food was soo good the service was excellent the waitress was polite and friendly I will always return just because everything about this place gets 2 thumbs up and a A+

Unlimited Ribs tonight. Got the Dry-Rub, so tender and tasty! Service was repellant, drinks were good... All in all, a great night.

The Sonny's on Archer is always very good. Servers are friendly and it is top notch Sonny's. I usually get the Brisket which is always lean and the fries are seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper. Turkey and pulled chicken are also good options.

This was my first time going to Sonny's. The food was delicious. The cornbread was some of the best I have eaten.

Visited the Archer RD location yesterday with a call ahead order. Was put on hold for about 6 mins. I arrived at the location by the time someone picked up the line. finally placed my order to which was not what I asked. I thought Joel would make it right, but he tried to talk over the issue. Wasted my entire lunch break sitting in Parking Lot #17 at Sonny's.

Good food. Good service. Smoked meat tends to be served kinda cool. Would appreciate hot food better.

Usually I don t complain about Sonny s but this time is unacceptable. The redneck egg rolls were WAY over cooked. To the point where I couldn t eat them. The pulled pork was very mushy and just not satisfying. Ribs were also over cooked and it seemed like they gave us the smallest ones they could find. This Sonny s I would not recommend going to. When they first opened they were pretty good but I don t know what happened lately.
