A sophisticated casual dining experience with a wide variety of menu options. The team server set up provided us with exceptional service. The owner Mr. Nardali was extremely nice and active within his restaurant ensuring that everyone was satisfied. Overall great experience, came highly recommended from the local and potters in Seagrove.

My experience at Something Different Restaurant was great. I had heard about Something Different Restaurant through a friend of mine. I would have to say, yes it was different. When I had heard about the name Something Different, It was the first thing that was unique about this place. I decided to make a trip to Asheboro to check this restaurant out. My first impression, when I pulled into the parking lot, I was thinking this can t be in this small shopping center along with all of these other small business . I take a look around, and I could see that there were a lot of cars in the parking lot. Some people could have been there for the other business . There was plenty of room to park; I had no problems finding a spot. As we walk up to the front door, I m thinking this looks like a nice place. My only complaint would be is the location it s in. It is convenient, but this place needs to be in a area of it s own. Somewhere off the main highway with a big sign that says, Something Different Restaurant. Secondly, the service was outstanding. As we walk inside, the environment was so smooth and relaxing. The waiters greet you at the door, and it wasn t 5 minutes we were already being seated. The waiter took our drinks down and told us to flip over the little bill thing you get when you leave to pay, when we are ready to order. So, then I notice when we were ready to order I flipped the bill thing over and suddenly, another waitress comes over to take our order. WOW! The teamwork these waiters carry on was amazing to me. As another waiter walks by, they keep your drink glass full. We never had to wait for our bill because you take the bill up to the counter yourself to pay. That s a big plus for me. All were very friendly and wanting to participate with all customers. And lastly, the food was outstanding! My favorite choice for food was the chicken cordon bleu. It s a chicken breast inside a bread crust with melted cheese and ham. It sits over a bed of alfredo noodles. You can also have them put their mushrooms, Italian sausage, and broccoli with the noodles. You can also have them put their mushrooms,Italian sausage, and broccoli with the noodles. All of this mixed in with some melted cheese sauce. Their fresh garden salads were outstanding also. All appeared to be fresh salad. Ask for extras to be put in your salad if you want the works. I think they need to upsize their salads a little, but overall great tasting and very fresh. My dessert of choice was the apple cinnamon crisp with vanilla ice cream. I don t need to explain this one, this you have to try out. Very tasteful. When we get up to the counter to pay the bill, we are also greeted with the owner of the restaurant. He s a very nice man and always willing to joke around a little. He walks around even when you re eating to make sure everybody is satisfied. Most of all the food was great, and and definitely inexpensive compared to a lot of places. My dining experience at Something Different Restaurant definitely tips my hat compared to most city restaurants. They have earned my visit back again and again!

First time in, busy Saturday night. We were sat 2nd of 3 booths. Third booth got there about 15 minutes after us. Our food came out last and you could tell it'd been sitting for a long time...was probably supposed to come out before the ones who got there after us. Husband got ribs, they were luke warm, I got chicken parmesan and it was congealed and the noodles were hard. I sent mine back. 10 minutes later it came out hot; when I started eating I realized the red sauce wasn't just marinara like usual, but meat sauce. It was disgusting - chicken and meat?? I ate the chicken that's it. Husband ate 25% or ribs, wasn't happy either. Worst part, food wasn't good and the bill was $45 - not worth it, Applebee's does better.

This restaurant could be more aptly named Something Adequate. Not horrible, just not great. Salad was bagged shredded lettuce, with a bit of cheese and one sad little cherry tomato. I had salmon and my husband had steak. Meh is the best word he and I had to describe it. Bread was Texas toast, not what I would have expected. Overall, I can say we will choose "something different" for dinner next time.

I'm fairly new to NC. Often I miss the Greek neighborhood I grew up in (Astoria NY). When I heard about how the owner is helping the vulnerable and disenfranchised amongst us, I have made a vow to support this business. God Bless him and the entire family. I have $100 earmarked for an order and once I can get $300, I will pay it forward for him.

We had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was so friendly and willing to do whatever they could to make our experience fantastic. I got the bayou and it was out of this world! We are not from here and our hotel sent us to this place... I am sad that we won't be around to try more of the wonderful food. Thank you for a great experience!!!!!

SO!!! I live in Asheboro now. Been working here for a while. Have found my New Home for eating out!!! Sanin and Tula and wait person Harley, were all absolutely wonderful! The Salmon was done to perfection, the sauteed vegetables were equally well attended, and the Greek salad was divine! So I will be eating there once a week for as long as they remain open, which is, I pray, another thirty years. Two thumbs, up to infinity, and WAY beyond!

I was so disappointed with my food. I've lived in the area for a long time but had never tried this place. Decided to finally eat there but the food was very bland. I ordered the shrimp scampi. The shrimp tasted good but there was only about 4 of them in this huge plate of pasta. I also received 2 lobster ravioli type discs with it. They had no flavor and neither did the pasta. My husband and son who are very picky ordered the burger. The bun had poppy seeds on it which I don't remember seeing that listed on the menu. My son was trying to pick the seeds off. Also the bun was bigger than the burger and the burger was not good. Burger paty was a little on the thin side and there was nothing flavorful or special about it. I will not ever go back.

This was my first time here. I was at the NC Zoo with family and was told this place was really good food. I was not disappointed at all, I was given a bite feom everyone's plate. From sirloin to lamb chops to shrimp florentine each was served to perfection. I was a chef for 12 years, and was in the industry for 20 plus years. For those who want to doubt my review. I would recommend this for a first date to a family affair. Well done to the well trained cooks and to the owner.

Great food at reasonable prices!! Highly recommended. We've eaten there twice so far. Our favorites are the baby back ribs, the reuben sandwich and the grilled potatoes. They offer a wide variety of foods, looking forward to trying something new on our next visit.

Don't go in close to closing . Like 45 minutes before. Service was poor, wine was hot.Food was terible. A lot has changed in a couple of years. Went there before service was good, food not bad. Supposed to be prepared by a chef. More like a grill cook from a greasy spoon. Our last time there.
