I have greatly enjoyed my relationship with my Salesperson, Dustin Asher, but only recently had our system installed and met the construction crew. They are headed by Jose and Ruben and are all outstanding. Every day they make it a practice to cleanup the entire jobsite before leaving. It always looks good. Their workmanship is amazing. We are very impressed. The conduit run from the panels to the inverters is so precise, it borders on being called beautiful. They had to take some of the siding off to mount the inverters and I wondered how they would retrofit that area. They carefully used pieces of the siding to patch over the exposed area. It looks so sharp. This crew is polite, plus we feel very secure about their integrity when we cannot be here. These men all work well as a team and are a credit to Solar Electric Texas. Thank you.

Just after purchasing my new home. I wanted another big investment into my new home. That's right solar panels. Knowing that I would need a new roof within the next 5 years but, wanting to get the government rebate. Solar electric told me that they would honor their promise to remove my solar panels. As long as it was within the the time frame I said I would be replacing my roof. I called Solar electric to schedule an appointment for the removal for the new roof. A part owner lady (name I will not mention)said that I needed that promise on paper or email. Which I did not get while working fulltime, going to school fulltime. Shame on me.

The sales process was very informative and educational so I didn t feel that they were just trying to sale me a service or product. The communication was excellent during the process from start to finish and the installation was sooner than expected. They even asked me if I wanted the conduit ran through the attic so very happy with Solar Electric Texas! They are a local and family owned business that has been taking care of solar customers for over 5 years in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Love my Solar Company!

I went with this company because of their excellent ratings with BBB. From day one, theyve been nothing but helpful. Their customer service is by far the best ive encountered. That was the most important for my wife and i. Offering me a military discount swayed me as well i might add.

We installed 40 panels on our two-story roof top. Our electric bill dropped by 90% the first month...and it's been relatively stable ever since. That makes our return on investment payoff point at right at the 3-year point. After that, we've calculated a savings (estimated) around $4,000 per year. That's nothing to sneeze at folks. The engineering team and support staff know how to enable the installation and sustainment processes as well. Professional, knowledgeable, and helpful...all of the positive qualities you (as a customer) need in a company. I wouldn't shop any further than here for solar implementation.

We highly recommend this company for solar installation. Their warranty is excellent and their service is very reliable. Most important, it saves us enough money on our power bills, that even with the cost of the system, we have lower monthly payments.
They installed our first system five or six years ago. During this time, they continued to monitor our system to insure that it was working properly. With the hail storm last year, although no panels were broken, our roof needed to be replaced. We contacted the company and decided to upgrade our system. When I say upgrade, really, it is an entirely new system. Solar electric worked with the roofing company to remove our existing system, and move it to our sons home. Solar Electric installed it on their home with updated monitoring.
Our new system looks great. We have been working with this company for a good many years, and look forward to many more.

Management doesnt care about anyone but themselves. They let their employees do jobs extra slow to get more time on their paychecks.

They let their supervisors talk to employees ANY type of way and call them out their names.

This company has too many moving parts. You have to call and bug them to do each phase of the install. No coordination between each phase/crew. Presently I'm waiting for the APP so I can monitor the panels. I've call twice so far. Today I got a call to have the electrician come out to the house to hook up the electrical boxes. Problem is they are already hooked up and the system is running fine I think....Need APP to see. I really would like to see this finished. they have my $$$

It has been an honor to work with such a professional company we have done some roofing jobs for Solar Electric Texas and Mr. Saul P. Has always been very professional Great people to work with.

So we ended up getting these solar panels and I honestly regret it !!!! We saved no money and always payed our CPS at the same price every month !!!! When we got the panels we were told we would only have one bill that would be $75 and when we get the tax credit at the end of the year, if we pay it towards them our bill will go lower !! Everything was great for 2 years until we got a phone call from the actual finance company That we haven't paid a bill for those 2 years !!!! Apparently the $75 bill was Solar Electric Texas installation fee which was through Mosaic costing at least $8000 !!!!!!! I was furious because we were paying that and then had to start paying the actual finance company $245 !!! And we owed the finance company $13,000 !!!! Plus our CPS Bill !!!! Which never went down !!!!!!! It was always between $100 and $190 !!!! The sales person did not explain anything and just through out the good stuff !!! So yes it is my fault for not looking further into but I do not recommend this company !!!!!

Solar Electric Texas is an awesome company. The people who make this company what it is are friendly and professional. Our solar unit is really doing its job, in two months time it has brought our electric bill down to pennies of what it used to be. I used Solar Electric Texas LLC to install the solar system on my home. The actual work on my home went very fast. I was told up front that it was about a 3 month process and they were right. The administrative process with the city and the power company took up about 85% of the time from when I signed the contract to the actual turn on time. I was pleased with the effort put forth by Solar Electric Texas and do recommend them.

Saul and Melissa were very professional in my experience. They followed their process to a T and were very responsive. The panels took my bill to zero in the winter and have dramatically lowered my energy bill in the summer. The installers were from Solar electric Texas (not some sub contractors), so it was nice seeing a uniform and labeled truck during install. They were efficient and fast and did quality work. I highly recommend this company - they have their stuff together. The sales person was cordial and knowledgeable and made it easy.

We bought solar panels last year and we could not be happier. Solar Electric Texas has the best customer service by far. They really took care of our needs and we recommend them to anyone who wants professionally installed solar panels.

I was referred to Solar Electric Texas by a colleague who is a financial whiz. He was right! This is a great place to have solar panels as we get so much sun here. With the government subsidy and the tax break, I should break even in a few years and then after that all the discounts on my electric bill (average about $100 a month) will accrue to me. Solar Electric was very helpful with the process and if solar panels will not work for you due to shading on your roof or where it faces (south is best I believe), then they will not try to sell you on the solution. Good solution, good company. UPDATE - 2 years in, the panels stopped working so for the past two months (highest production months of the year) I've not been generating. It should be fixed soon but I'm dismayed to have lost production, apparently I should have been monitoring whether they're working or not, but it's been a month since they stopped working and I'm still waiting for a repair.

I am one of the biggest skeptics out there when it came to solar. I spoke to several companies and most were not local but proclaimed to be. Solar Electric Texas made the cut and was clearly a local standout. They're local, been local and will stay local. They had great service and answered the phone every time I called. They sold me less panels, as they explained that I didnt need the amount quoted to me by other companies. My last electric bill was $46 and that because of the gas. No need to keep looking, book your next appointment with them.

The price is great here. And they work to figure out any rebates which helps with what you pay. The installation is great. I haven't had any issues with the panels. Just be sure to follow up is all. They get really busy but well worth it.

Had an A+ experience with my install by Solar Electric Texas over the weekend. A strong, self-sufficient crew showed up on Saturday morning and had completed the installation by early afternoon.

Joel, Carlos, David, and Marcaux were awesome! I am an architect and pretty opinionated about things like conduit runs and other details- I am used to reviewing compliance and worksmanship on this kind of stuff and the guys nailed it. Office and sales staff has also been excellent throughout the process. Definitely looking forward to working with Solar Electric Texas again.
