The owners and staff, we're absolutely amazing!! We were a family party of 24. The table was ready and the staff were prepared. All orders were fantastic, and prepared as ordered. Steve (server) handled 24 separate orders and seven separate checks
like a Pro ....oh yeah that's because he is!!

I recently found this restuarant and I'm in love!! Their pizza is unbelievable and the calzones are HUGE! The office I work in will order from here once every two weeks- and let me tell you I look forward to it every time. This is now one of my favorite restaurants and I'd proudly recommend it to anyone.

We ordered online and swung by to pick up. Fast, friendly service. Very good calzones, will definitely be going back.

Fabulous home style Italian cooking. Their food tastes as if it came out of your own family kitchen. We had pizza, but we've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all amazing! The pizza in my opinion is New York style and they do a fantastic job of it. I'd give ten stars if I could because it's a taste of home! Great service, very clean and nice ambiance.

Really great veal parmesan. Had pizza from here and it was good also. Definitely will go back.

OMG, real NYC pizza in Arizona! Highest quality toppings & cheeses, on crusts of all thicknesses. Very friendly, welcoming family atmosphere. Really decent wine list.

Incredibly sad. Loved their food but they just lost a customer. Earlier today we called to see what time they would stop accepting telephone orders. We were told 8. Their hours posted are later. We are at work and so we need to order food for ourselves. Just called and basically the person who answered the phone said yes I know that we don't close until then but we're not cooking anymore today. Bad look la familia. We ate there at least once a week.

Food was fantastic!! Large portions. Enough leftovers for several more meals. Waitress was excellent!!

Favorite Italian place in Arizona. They have a great NY pizza that I order most of the time. Good beer and wine selection. The servers are always great. I also like their spaghetti and meatballs. There aren't too many places I'd order something that simple, but they do a great home-style tomato sauce. Like the one your Italian friend's mother used to make back in Jersey. I should probably explore the menu more, what I've had so far has been very good, and I've seen a bunch more come out of the kitchen that I'd like to try.

The best Pizza in Atizona. We drive from Peoria, and it is worth the time. If you like pizza from New York or New Jersey, you'll love La Famiglia.

Came here for a group holiday networking event for the first time. I had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. It was very tasty. It seemed that everyone enjoyed their meals... pizza, wings, strombolis, pasta dishes and more. I'll be back with the family.

After reading some great reviews, and a few negatives in between, the great reviews won me over. I'm so glad they did. We had the "must have" garlic knots for appetizers and YES they are a must have. Their marinara sauce my whole family would have loved unending bowls with spoons, it was really that good. Onto our main dishes. I had the eggplant Parmesan, made just the way it should be. The eggplant was tender, the breading not too heavy and not too light. Crisped to perfection.

What a great place to eat! It was amazing! The pizza taste like NY pizza. I wanted to cry when I taste the cannoli, buffalo wings and the pizza was just great. I appreciate that they take there time to make good quality pizza! Totally will recommend it.

I have ordered from this place several times and I have never had anything I did not enjoy. I love their stromboli's. You can tell the sauce is home made. I can't wait to go and sit down at the restaurant and enjoy a good meal. I love good authentic Italian food.

Homemade pasta and pizza what more can you ask for? The customer service was excellent, the place was clean and everything was so yummy. Garlic knots were to die for! My husband loved the calzone he got and I loved the chicken alfredo pasta I got, was thick and hearty! We came for a birthday party and got an excellent server named "Zach" he tended to our party of 10 adults and 2 kids. The owners are wonderful people who we had the pleasure of meeting this evening and off the bat you can tell they take pride in their culture, family and restuarant. That is what sets this restaurant apart from others.

Excellent food, especially the Spinach & Ricotta Stromboli

This is hands down the best pizza in the East valley! If authentic New York pizza is what you're looking for, accept no substitutes. I was born and raised in Long Island, NY and this is by far the closest I have had to pizza back home here in Arizona. My son had his very first bite of pizza ever from La Famiglia and now at 4 years old refuses to eat it from anywhere else. Family owned so they make you feel at home and the cannoli is top notch. What else could you ask for?

The service alone was great. Tasha was so nice and attentive!! The place closes at 9 and we got there at 830. They made us feel welcome and not rushed at all. The FOOD was Amazing and the potions were large. I had the gnocchi with Alfredo sauce! I also ordered the baked rice ball! I had so much leftover! They both were so delicious! The gnocchi was filled with spinach! YUM!! They were able to give us separate receipts! Overall I will return and I will definitely recommend this place!

Best Pizza I've found in Arizona. Give them a try if you're looking for a tasty slice to go or a whole pie. Or why not eat in? You won't be disappointed! They've been a staple of the neighborhood for years and now I know why. Their food is delicious!

What a great pasta restaurant! This place is really great for a fancy night out. The food that they served was indeed delicious. The bolognese in this restaurant is a must to try. I could really say that this restaurant was phenomenal. The ambiance feels like you re in Italy. The wine was so good. The crews were very accommodating. Highly recommended restaurant!

You would have to drive nearly 2,400 miles northeast of Mesa, AZ to find pizza that's almost as good as La Famiglia's!

This was our first time trying this place out and we will definitely be back. Catherine was friendly as our server and the food was great. Ordered a pasta plate with sausage as well as a pepperoni pizza and both were fantastic

We've been coming to this family own restaurant since they first open in Chandler, they now relocated to Dobson and Guadalupe in Mesa AZ. there's really something delicious hiding behind those pizzas they have ready on display and to order by the slice so they can throw it in the oven for that perfect New York style crunch. That's my first and best option versus freshly made. However, now that I have a larger family and for convenience it makes more sense to order a whole pizza, also, we love their fettuccini alfredo and their appetizers are excellent; hot wings, calamari, and fried mushroom are amongst my family's favorite. On our most recent visit however, the ambiance was a lot more boring and quiet than our previous visits. Last time they had a live band with an accordionist playing some traditional songs, it truly gets you in the mood for that extra glass of wine. It was kind of sad to see this lively place so dead and quiet on a Saturday night

There food is just amazing!!!!!! Anything you try here your not going to go wrong. Its just that good and so family oriented i love it!

Some of the best pizza that I've ever had. Their Grandma's Pizza is meatless but has lots of garlic and is oh so good. I don't even miss the meat. We also had some of the best buffalo wings that I've ever had

I ordered pasta, garlic bread, and fries for delivery and at first it was great! Got here hot , tasted good, but then after a few bites of the pasta I noticed a metallic taste. I kept tasting it and after a few more bites it hurt my teeth! I realized it s because it came in an aluminum takeout bin. The garlic bread was the same way. I couldn t finish it and had to throw it out. I was really sad about it because it looked so good! Thankfully the fries were great with no metal taste but I don t think I ll ever order takeout from here again. Maybe I ll try dinning in next time.

Not good quality and not better than other Italian restaurants. I decided to order to go/pickup one night a while back. It was my first time and I only picked this place because a coworker told me they liked it and it's close to where I live. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and was really looking forward to it because it sounded authentic and that's my favorite dish usually. I went to pick up and the first clue that things might not go well was that the place looks like it hasn't been updated in decades..dusty..old..and worst of all completely empty around dinner time. Spent close to $15, got home, and was very disappointed. The portion wasn't very large, and it tasted like store bought canned sauce. I barely ate it. At the time I was too annoyed to bother calling or reviewing. Haven't been back nor would I recommend to others.

Thought we would try this place again. Regrettably it was not much improved from several years ago. The server took our order, got our drinks and vanished. A girl brought out our salad and bread, but left without giving us silverware. We sat while the tables around us got attention, and we looked at the salad. Finally we got someone's attention and got to taste our food with silverware. The server visited only to find out he didn't take part of our order. The food we did get was good. Not sure we will visit again. It was not worth the hassle.
