Beautiful and nicely located hotel. However it's so crowded, that you can be waiting over an hour for check in.

Love this place . Best hotel in manila . Expensive but it is all worth every pesos and cents .
Spiral breakfast buffet one of the most varied choices in the metro
Sun Bar at Sofitel particularly gives you a relaxed and stress free mood.
Our staycation here has always been like a second home, whete every staff is just a part of the family. None of the hotels around could surpass this excellence.
very nice and quite so many celebrities here. i like the buffet.laboratory so cleen and tidy. and stuff are friendly and i like the mini bar too.
good service.friendly staff..good food..ambiance of the hotel is verygood..lagoon shape pool is awesome..
Nice hotel, but the rooms have some improvements that can be done
Excellent place to stay while in Manila. A good place to see the Manila sunset at the end of the day. There are also good choices of foods in Spiral restaurant. The Milliseme Club at the 10th floor is also a nice place to relax with great refreshments.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed. I thought the staff were great. Food was good but not the best for a hotel of this perceived status. We stayed here due to the Philippines International convention centre being located across the road. I would stay here again.
Nice rooms and ballrooms. Parking is freely available. The pool area is nice but the restrooms need a little bit of repair. The buffet here is one of the best in the metro and offers the widest selection of food from different corners of the world. It just gets crowded during a function or event. The sunset here is the best.
It was our first time to stay in the hotel to celebrate my Birthday and wedding anniversary. The room is quite small than advertised. The hotel rooms needs upgrading an also a bit more decorations would do the trick. The staff are friendly and services are quite fast. Pool needs upgrading as well. Overall we are satisfied with our stay and will stay again in the future
It used to be pretty nice place to have buffet. Although this hotel staffs starts to have a bad service. There will be no way m going to renew their membership. As well as their asian food section - korean kimchi tastes different than before (not so great). Staffs forgot my beer over 30mins, my mother in laws birthday cake over 45mins. I guess..... we should try in Shangrila at fort, Raffles in Makati? Spiral dont worth their old valued name any more :(
This hotel just sets the standards in the hotel industry.
The hotel offers a spectacular view especially during sunset and they've really made it enjoyable providing a comfortable seating area in the garden. Staff were very friendly and nice to see them smiling with everyone. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Spiral is the best in Manila. You should try every delicacies from all over the world. Special mention the most expensive cheese available.
Nice place to have a drink in front of the sea in a windy area. Not many places like this in metro manila
I have stayed with Sofitel many times and for many years. My stay with Sofitel is paid by me personally (not paid by a company) and therefore I appreciate finer things what Sofitel can offer and provide. I remembered being beguiled with my first few stays at Sofitel but in the last couple of years, I felt let down. Sofitel became too busy and too commercialised in that I felt lost in the sea of foreigners and snobbish projection of the check in counters. The unsatisfying stays had made it simple for me to stay at Novotel Cubao every time. Hence I was pleasantly surprised this time around when I checked in. I was led to a special place for Accor membership, was assisted by a graceful and pleasant staff. I also found a few staff at Spiral Buffet very accommodating - Ramon Bello was specially attentive and Shem was also another exceptional staff. I am sure there are many more but somehow, this time around, it felt I am not just a lost traveller but instead, part of a family finally coming home. I do hope Sofitel does not get lost while it focusses on profitability and exclusiveness. Profitability should not come from the expense of the experience from the guests and remember, not everyone is paid by a company and therefore, little things are appreciated more.
My request that we be given a room fronting the pool and the bay during my wife's birthday was instantly granted without any issue. We were also given a complimentary wine by the housekeeper. Aside from that, my request for a late check out as Accor member was likewise granted by the staff. I just hope that they get to clear out with Spiral the proper computation for service charge. The hotel, however, resolved the same in my favor, but this is after I've called their attention about it. This happened twice during my two separate stay in the hotel this October 2017.
By the sea, feels like you aren't in the city. Exterior's dated, looks the same when it was still The Westin Philippine Plaza.
Beautiful and elegant hotel near the bay. Rooms are plush and luxurious, and service is impeccable. The hotel grounds and main hall are also lovely, especially decked out for Christmas. Attended a wedding reception at the hotel as well, and the hall was decorated extravagantly. Food was a set course meal, plated and presented nicely and delicious. Amazing stay!
Experience premium quality of services and food at Sofitel. Harbor Garden is also perfect place for exquisite night life.
On our stay the room is spacious and can accommodate small group visit by friends, there are variety of food to choose, and big pool to swim. The sceneries are very relaxing. Since it was a short stay we have not experience other amenities which we think we could avail on our next visit
Nice location. One of the best buffet in Manila @ Spiral restaurant! Service can be improved, most of the staff are not well trained according Accor standards. Some rooms are renovated, some are not, difficult to know what kind of room you will get. Do not take into account your preferences.
This is really a great hotel. Awesome pool with water slides, etc. Gracious staff, over-the-top executive lounge. I've stayed here twice and the food is perfectly executed, even on a massive scale. The chef is some kind of genius.
I will always go back for the lovely buffet experience at Spiral. Cap the day off sipping champagne by the bay
The hotel staff were very friendly and always doing theie best to make us happy and laugh during our stay.
special Thanks to Chambers from Sunset Bar for his assistance during our family dinner.
One of my regular hotels in Manila although it's a taxi ride to everywhere (you'll save heaps if you hail one from the street rather than use the hotel's). It's 5 star and the price reflects it. Great rooms and the exec lounge option is a great retreat from the hotel's hustle & bustle.
Manila is a very comfortable hotel, watching the sunset, very leisurely enjoyment, and relaxing in the environment.
Before, Sofitel was our favorite hotel but service deteriorated so we weren't expecting much for this stay. However, our most recent stay proved otherwise. Good job Sofitel! Polite and kind employees and the checking in and checking out was no hassle at all. As usual, the buffet remains to be the best in Manila.
It's a timeless classic. If you're here to celebrate or just sip a glass of wine, they got you covered.
Spiral breakfast is a must! Good foods and Good people amd crews. Although buffet pricr for breakfast is too expensive but its really worth the price. They have a wide selections of foods from different cuisines that will satisfy your cravings. Thanks to Chambers Marcelo for his exceptional service, he is truly a star to this hotel. Kudos to your service that will never be forgotten. We will see you again Chambers soon! God Bless
Superior cust service and care.
Wonderful food and love Staircase Buffet!
This hotel for families only, I booked in this hotel but what I received is Less than what I expected, the swimming pool is for kids, prices is High, and they don't have any Halal food.
We are really happy in our room, it was upgraded to a luxury room, unlimited food, beautiful view, nice pool and very accommodating staffs.
The staff are somewhat friendly. Parking accomodations are pricey and always full, better be early or check in early or you'll have no choice but to pay a 400 valet fee. Parking attendants are not that helpful for directions. These are my first impressions before I got into the hotel.
Not much to comment on because Sofitel has lived up to the expectations of its guests and clientele and even surpassed the expectations of many. Deserving of five stars rating.
I stayed here a little less than 2 weeks ago, April 15-17 and the quality of service I received was phenomenal. A special shout out to Toto from the concierge team for helping me sort out my luggage as I was checking out, he's amazing. Great team, definitely coming back next time I visit Philippines.
the best buffet in the Philippines very professional staff
Although Sofitel is regarded as one of the best luxury hotel in the Philippines, the hotel itself is in need of improvement in terms of facilities and service.
First, the parking area. The paved parking area has limited slots, and yet about 20-25% is always reserved. Half of the time we were there, we had to park at the adjacent lot which is still part of the Sofitel parking area. The place isn't paved so it's either dusty when the weather is hot, or muddy if there's rain. For a 5-star hotel, they can and should improve this.
The room, at least the one that we stayed in, was outdated and in need of refurbishing. This was a room on the 11th floor, which I was informed, was the floor for Club rooms. The management had to upgrade us from a superior room as there was a mix up in their system and a different room was given to us, so they had no choice but to give us the next available room as we were already waiting for more than 2 hours with a sleepy baby. And they changed all the amenities to that of a Superior room, perhaps because it's just a "necessary" complimentary upgrade.
Then the service. As there was an event on the weekend that we stayed there (which we were not advised nor aware of), service was very slow, from check in, to room transfer, up until check out. Since it was a planned event, management should have anticipated the crowd and augmented their staff.
With the establishment of a lot of newer hotels nearby, Sofitel would have to improve not just their services but the facilities as well if they want to maintain their status as one of the best hotels in Manila.
Highly recommended. Staff was absolutely professional in all respects. 5 star facility all the way. My wife and I spent our anniversary there and they went way out of their way to make it so special. Thank you Renz, Celeste and Yvon with all the rest of the staff. My hat is off to you.
Great service. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was great too.
They very comfortable bedroom and very clean bedsheets and toilet and also they have very nice swimming pool.
Beautiful place for having a conference, meeting etc. Great food, but a little low on parking space.
Awesome Hotel. Never been, but I know it'll be amazing
The best hotel in Manila, expensive but at the price level
Hotel service is very good! But the beach has a great taste! !
It was really a pleasant stay, very warm employees, very good food, very nice amenities. It was really good experience aside from the request that was not granted. Hoping next time you would be able to grant our simple request. Thank you and we really love Sofitel. Can't wait to stay there again.
From the moment you enter the main entrance door, you will experience hospitality that is naturally Pinoy. The rooms are sufficient in area, food is amazing and facilities are surprisingly good.
Overall experience at the Sofitel Manila was really good. Compared to North American standards, it is very comparable but there were some minor things that were different in the hotel that we weren't accustom to, things such as, lack of ice machines on guest room floors, lack of complimentary shuttles to the airport and lack of reasonable pricing for hotel guests at the in-house restaurant. Other than those little differences our stay at the Sofitel Manila was very enjoyable.
Generally loved everything about this place especially the pool and promenade area by the bay
Beautiful hotel with unique location. Outstanding service, but some details can get better.
