Great fun times here, tobogganing is great fun for the family. They also have a bar and coffee shop which both serve food and drink, with views over the ice skating area and over the ski slopes. There was plenty of staff on shift to ensure the safety of people on the slopes, the safety briefing was amusing. We will defiantly go here again with the family, they have a new climbing area which the kids want to try out.

Absolutely amazing the winter wonderland was as close to visiting Lapland as your gonna get. Without going obviously. We all had a fabulous time. It wasn't overly busy, however we visited in the morning mid week. Friends that went at the weekend had a different experience, with to many people been a problem. But personally o could not fault it.
Great fun and the best way to get back into skiing before your holiday, mud week it was reasonably quiet and that helped, I believe it can be crazy at weekends
Visited on Sunday in January. Very busy with several very icy patches on the slope. Good for getting your legs back but not enough space for focusing on technique.
In ordinary time I would of given a 4 as it was good fun but as there were so many people without masks and no staff around to say anything I didn't feel comfortable at all . The kids snow bit was good fun but again while we were waiting to go in there was not a member of staff to be seen and no social distancing.
The lesson itself was very reasonably priced given the amount of slope time. Plenty of breaks throughout the day and a nice lunch included. The instructor was nice and I was in a small group so got plenty of contact time.
The slope was crowed as it was a Sunday but I was told in weekdays or late evening it s usually much quieter!
Great, went for snowboarding lessons and the instructors were super helpful and got to spend plenty of time on the slope plus there is a Starbucks and restaurant on site
It's good for kids with several activities such as climbing wall, ice skating, sledging and snow fun. It can be useful if you want to learn the basics before going on a ski holiday. But if you are a skier or snowboarder with reasonable level it's very disappointing. The snow is very bad, they groom it a couple of times a day but there's just enough snow to cover the slope about two inches deep. It means that, on a busy day, half an hour later the snow is wiped from the busiest parts of the slope. We then start to see the concrete, and it becomes very dangerous. On top of that, some members of staff are rude, rental board bindings are loose, and the rope "lift" is the worst I've seen.
Had a day 'learn to ski' course here and it was great. I learnt to ski and it well worth the money. The trainer was patient and very good. Food was reasonable too. All in all a fantastic day.
Great place to learn to ski, particularly around the quieter Summer period. Also good for brushing off the dust on the boots before going for a skiing holiday. Snow is good and regularly groomed. Starbucks overlooking the slope is a great place for an apres ski coffee/hot chocolate
Loved our first visit here and the snow was actually pretty good. The instructors looked after our first time skier brilliantly and got her right to the top and snowploughing all the way down with confidence. Many thanks is to all the staff there and we'll see you again soon.
Absolutely love the Snowdome. The Aspen bar serves decent food, there's a Starbucks, winter sports store, and of course the slope, rock climbing walls, gym etc.
Took my family of six for an hours ski on Sunday. Overall an ok experience but the whole place is set up to maximise profit.
Lots of kids on hand to hand out ski s and boots. Helmets are self serve off the shelf and are dirty and wet on the inside from previous use. If you have one take your own!
Lots of lockers on hand to store your valuables, you will need a 20p coin to use them. Guess what, yes you ve guessed it you don t get the coin back at the end!
The slopes are busy on a weekend especially with lessons. Skiing can be hazardous from beginners venturing across the slope midway down in their lessons, to those on the slopes mixed in with more advanced skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. It s a basic dog leg slope, which bottle necks at the bottom, through a small gap in the wall and over a large lump of ice slowing your ability to quickly get back up the lift. There is little or no etiquette to getting though the passage at the bottom to get back to the lift, everyone pushes in! There is no snow on the path leading to the lift so you are walking to it again slowing you down. I guess it s done on purpose to maximise numbers in the venue and then limiting the people on the slopes. I think we managed about 10-12 runs in the hour and two from mid point. Honestly, It s OK. I wouldn t book anymore than once a year for those reasons!
Went for santas winter wonderland was great fun kids loved it! Also staff are great we had an issue with our initial booking and somone was able to resolve and rebook us quickly!
Great gym with machines, cables, trx, free weights and leverage.. Lots of classes for all your needs and the PT's are really friendly.. Pool is really good and on a Saturday if has giant inflatables for the kids. Snow play is good fun especially at Xmas when you get to play in the snow/sledge have snow ball fights then you watch a play with Santa and his elves.. After you meet Santa they have a area with lots of animals for the kids to see... Highly recommended
Swimming pool relatively cheap and easy to book online. Swimming pool could do with some investment. Looking tired in many places around the poolside that being said the changing rooms and poolside was clean. Would visit again
This is a great place for children and adults alike. Plenty of things to do. The cafe have very reasonable prices and friendly I would recommend this place to family and friends
Great day out. 2 hours of ice skating for just over 8 pound. Can be a lot of people on the ice bumping into you and cutting you up. Last time we went you could skate around the outer part but this time you couldn't it was just the middle so everyone was on the same part. Shame as it was excellent last time
I purchased one of the small slopes sledge parties for my sons 7th birthday. We arrived on 24 Sept 2016. The sledging was excellent & the kids loved it. We also had the children's food package included. We moved to a nice party room where the kids were seated & we gave them drinks from the 2 jugs of orange & blackcurrant for 18 kids. After approx 20 mins and the kids got restless I went on the hunt for a member of staff for more drinks & food? No staff! but I found the cordial, of which I went about re-filling the two jugs, a further 10-15 mins elapsed & two more trips to fill the jugs back up the food finally turned up!!! But one of the children's order didn't!!! That poor 7 year old had to sit for a further 15 mins with nothing whilst he watched the other children eat!! I spoke to the party organizer who said she would have a word with her manager. She offered us free tea of coffee!!! I'm sorry but the length of time we waited for the food & the poor boy who waited a further 15 mins & the fact I had to find the drinks & keep re-filling just isn't good enough!!! I will not being recommending this!!!
I visited here on the 7th December with my nursery, it was the first time I had visited so was unsure what to expect. We were visiting Santa in his Winter Wonderland. You have 30 minutes to play in the snow, on the sleighs and on the rubber rings to race down the 4 different slides that are around the course. You then enter a theatre, there is a 30 minute pantomime show which is very entertaining for both children and adults. You then enter Santa's Farm where all of his animals are kept, and you can even write a letter to Santa. On leaving the animals there is an opportunity for an official photo, that can be purchased. You are handed chocolate for adults and children and then you arrive back in the foyer for food and drinks. The Starbucks is the same prices as elsewhere. The Aspen food place, is affordable but meals can be expensive, plenty of seating in both places. Didn't visit the bar or the gift shop so can not comment. The Winter Wonderland was affordably priced. Overall it was a fantastic day out, would definitely recommend and will be visiting again!
Popped in for a drink at the coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised. The two lads working there were very friendly and accommodating, making me a lovely cup of "builders" tea and my wife a great latte. Low lighting, comfy chairs and a log fire, I think this is a hidden gem. Chairs and tables too, lots of room for wheelchairs and prams, it even overlooked the kids snow play area, also the drinks were very reasonably priced.
The most MISERABLE life guards on the planet We had the misfortune of going to the pool inflatable "party" on Christmas Eve and were subjected to "death by miserable teenage lifeguard."
Hannah was a notable exception, she obviously hasn't been indoctrinated into the "don't smile at anyone" school of lifeguarding.
