Great winter wonderland experience great for small children and adults at Christmas
Great place. Fab swimming and snow play and lots more.
Particularly lovely at Christmas.
We had a great day out here. We came for my nephew's 6th birthday . We done ice skating snow play and tobogganing. The snow play was great fun throwing snowballs, tyres going down a snow slope and sledge pulling a lot of fun had by all young and older.
Epic my oly concern is that the ripe dosnt work properly I hope they fix it soon
Amazing place! Staff are fab! Great corporate days out as well as for fun. Take some warm clothes though :)
Came for a birthday party was pleasantly surprised. Although the room for the party was a bit of a trek for the little ones
Very good and patient instructor - Alec.
Great feeling of accomplishment by the end of a short lesson to get to the bottom without falling over. Excellent.
Good snow slope for a quick bit of practice but the restaurants are limited.
Great fun. Good facilities. Sleds were very difficult to steer though
Great place, learned to snowboard in just over a hour.
I love going to the snowdome because it is a fun way to learn how to ski or snowboard.
Loving the climbing walls. Took 3 children, aged 4, 6 and 9. All had a great time. Variety of challenges, great staff and good attention to health and safety.
Great fun place to visit with lovely friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit even if you are a beginner.
Snowboarding for a day. Was great fun, excellent instructor (Rich) who managed to spend plenty of time with each of us, enabling us to maximise our learning opportunities. By the end of the day I was practising basic C link turns. Very happy
Go there for karate and for swimming and it's amazing
A great place! great fun, must visit. Attractions for kids about big :)
Good service, lots of activities, food options reasonable.
I wanted to learn how to snowboard and what a great day i had. Craig our instructor was amazing, very easy to understand and very patient, he made the hole day go smoothly couldn't of asked for more. I feel confident that i can go back on my own now and being to improve on what he has shown me. I would recommend anyone to go and try this and its a bonus if you get Craig as a tutor.
Absolutely wonderful place for all the family! Always a wonderful day out
Just a bit meh. Chaos to get setup and full day class taught very little. Lots and lots of standing around to take turns one at a time.
Went to snow dome tobogganing under the Covid 19 restrictions for my daughters birthday, great to see management taking it seriously so we can enjoy some normality.
They were strict on wearing masks ,staff wearing them as well. If every business followed their example maybe we could get back to normal sooner
Great place for all family! Lots of activities, not just on snow, also have climbing which looked really good, pretty high, and swimming pool with a big slide. We did tobogganing on snow (sort of sledging) and it was great! Got quite a few More
I really like the snow done, we go most weeks to climb or swim or take our toddler to the snow play area. It's got everything you. But beware it isn't cheap and to get on the snow will cost a lot but where else can you do it?!
Due to pot holes in the car park I sustained a injury
Great place to learn how to ski or board. Food is available in the bar and is good too.
Fabulous afternoon out with my grandson and family in winter wonderland.
Great activities which aren t too badly priced, but accessibility and signage are truly awful. If you have a buggy or wheelchair, get ready for a big walk around the car park.
The winter wonderland was amazing. Both my 11 and 1 year old loved it.
We were in Derby for a long weekend, but spent a day here skiing. It longs really organised. It was good to practice and let the child gain confidence.
Great place to practice or learn to ski. Instructors are really patient and put you at ease if you are a beginner. They also have lots of great offers available so the value for money is excellent!
Great for ski practice, although a little icy in places and some of the building needs a bit of TLC and painting.
Excellent time! A tad bit icy in some places but the people who worked there would fix it. Quite busy. But 2 hours is plenty of time :) loved it!!
The lesson and reception experience were good but shame that it took ages and asking loads of people before we found our teacher. Very busy as it was pre Christmas. Starbucks was dire, nothing left and staff that were as barren of feeling as the shelves were of stock.
Our second home, 7 year old gaining badges. Instructors here are really good, and a great place to unwind and relax as well
Did an all day Snowboarding course. The instructors were great and made a lot of progress from never hitting the slopes before.
Would recommend!
While the slope is admittedly short, it's still a fun place to get the hang of skiing. Before visiting this place, I hadn't done skiing in nearly 10 years, but I soon got the hang of it after a 45 minute turn at the SnowDome. Plenty of eateries also available, and other interest and exciting venues to choose from if skiing isn't your thing. :)
Great fun, we went on a Monday evening and it wasn't too busy. Half an hour just didn't feel long enough!
Girlfriend and best friend did a learn to ski in a day course. They were taught well and had friendly down to earth instructors. The slope was quite busy however due to it being a weekend and at times it looked tough to manoeuvre round people. There were viewing windows from the restaurant which were great for myself, however the food was overpriced and poor quality.
Went to the small kids play zone , bit dirty , food hall after was a 1 and a 1/2 hours wait
Very well organised centre. Ice skating is a bit overpriced but other prices are fair
Booked a tobogganing session which lasted 30 mins luckily the place was empty so had plenty of goes ,,, I would imagine though if it was busy in half hour you wouldn't get many goes ,,,good experience overall
Visited to shop at Ellis Brigham who are excellent as well. But had a look at the snow slope while there and it looks great. Plenty of other facilities too.
The facility itself is ok but lessons (for children at least) are over priced, over booked and led by people too young and inexperienced. My son spent an hour in a lesson with 12 other beginners which basically equated to him watching them pick up children who had fallen over in the queue. When he got to 'ski' it was over a 10ft distance (at best) and on an incline that made it impossible to practice the snow plough they were trying to teach as there simply was no chance of building up any speed. He got to try this a total of 4 times in the whole hour due to how terribly managed the whole lesson was and left saying skiing was boring. Hugely hugely disappointing.
Great place for adventure lovers and kids! Definitely recommend.
Young family haven...loads of activities, sessions and time to play! The nearby beaches are spot on too!will be going back for what will be our 4th time
I drive from Bristol to ski here, worth the trip to not ski on a dry slope and the restaurant and other facilities are good too. However it can be very busy during the winter and the snow quality had reduced significantly compared to trips in previous years. I would recommend the Hemel slope over Tamworth based on my recent visit.
Great fun day out for all our family! Went at the busy Christmas period and the staff were so helpful. We had so much fun and are looking forward to a second visit!
Been here twice on december bdays over the years great place for adults and kids alike
I feel that too many people were in a cohort. It was noisy and could not hear anything. However the experience when we entered was brilliant. The children loved every second of it. So please reduce the cohort size
I did the learn to ski in a day course here before my first skiing holiday. Would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to learn to ski! Instructor was great and the price was pretty good too!
Visited Winter Wonderland this afternoon and my 18-month-old absolutely loved her time in the snow. Only downside was the theatre show as it was far too loud and there was too much going on; not ideal for children with autism/SPD. The humour was geared towards adults and older teenage children so I felt it was a waste of time for us.
Love it there! A bit pricey when paying full price but sign up to the deals and some times 70percent off and other great perks
Not been in there myself, but my daughter has been twice now and she loves it.
Second time coming for a works evening out and we all loved it, great experience and great food
The run is not massive but good fun. I'd describe it as an easy blue from the top. The staff are very friendly especially on the front desk and the bar area isn't horrendously priced either with a great alpine theme.
The discount session 3 hour lift pass was amazing value and in the night I went they had a large pipe and a couple of decent starter jumps that really added to the experience.
Some of the best customer service I have ever had! Both James and Russel where ace as i had my confidence knocked by a marshall claiming falsely against me as im not the most confident. Russel came and skii d with me for an hour to get me back confident. Very appreciated!
Nice, a lot of snow, show was funny. Good value for money
