We love you snow basin, thank you for all the memories you provide for our family each year.
There food isn't very great it's dry, cold, overcooked
Haven't ski here, but resort staff is awesome, even after hours.
Expensive. Crowded. You'll wait over an hour just to buy your lift ticket (see picture). Ok once you get on the mountain. Lifts tend to break down though. Food is good but expensive ($15 burger). For the money, I'd look elsewhere.
Nice place, 3 star is for the price. I've been to many ski resorts around the world, and snowbasin is among the most EXPENSIVE, not the best.
Well kept beautiful resort. Loved it, there for a wedding. Very accommodating.
Great place to visit. The fews are amazing from every angle on the peaks. Wildflowers everywhere. The trails are taken cared of. And Spartan Races are amazing there! Ill definitely be back.
It was beautiful and green. I love going there for mother's day brunch.
Beautiful area, way less crowded. Great mountain biking!
It was a beautiful the music was great the food was also very good.
Best ski resort in Utah. Easy to get to, great food and lodges, short lines for lifts, wide variety of difficulty levels, beautiful views.
The facilities are top notch. It's well kept with high end amenities. One notable amenity is their immaculate restrooms, I've never seen a more classy facility. I had one of the most pleasant experiences at the wedding I attended in the main chalet. Upbeat, friendly and very helpful staff made my experience a hit.
It was warm and inviting. Everything was clean and fresh and lovely.
Very fun opening day! It's my first time with a season pass here and I already love it more than Park City. I also love the covered chair lifts. Staff was friendly and helpful and the cabin is cozy and comfortable. I'm excited for Winter this year!
Utah skiing....always epic when your stomping grounds are the PNW....
Have not been here yet. Hope to visit one day. I just found out about this resort from the film Frozen 2010. So good and terrifying. But my goodness this resort looks beautiful!
Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. Great food and great staff. Truly a pleasure.
The blues and barbeque in June should have been great, but whoever booked the music gave the crowd garage band style biker bar rock. Maybe that's what the crowd likes but they should probably change the name of the thing.
We ve had Family Skiing, Snowbasin Resort, since 2002. The facility has been maintained and improved each year. Earl would be proud of the developments. It is without a doubt one of the finest facilities in the country if not in the World. Their ability to maintain its beauty is a tribute to Earl s successors and their management. Excellent skiing, fine lifts, excellent entertainment, good food, fabulous lodges (high and low), etc. Keep up the good work.
A nice resort hampered by poor conditions. The lodges are really nice with fireplaces and couches. The bar has tasty food and local brews and very friendly service. I hope to visit some time when it snows a couple feet :)
Summer visit to gondola ride and buffet. Not only was view and service excellent, the food was superb for any location. Went on walk up to saddle after lunch.
Love it,, been going up to the Basin for more than 45yrs,never skied Once,, I hunt and fish and camping, love the view.
Very nice ski area.
Love being in the mountains.
Such a quick drive up the mountain to a world premier resort.
Great all around mountain with long challenging runs.
Our Daughter's wedding at Snowbasin August 17, 2019 exceeded our expectations. I knew when I met with Kristine Cline in August of 2018 that Snowbasin would be a perfect venue since we were planning a wedding long distance and our daughter's time was limited because of being a 3rd year resident. Kristine was wonderful to work with. I have experience putting on big events and I knew Kristine and the staff at Snowbasin knew how to do a first rate event. The service the day of the Wedding was above and beyond. While family was taking photos in the wildflowers which was quite a hike in heels and long dresses, the staff was bringing appetizers and drinks out to us on trays so that we would not miss out on the cocktail hour. We never asked for this service, they just did it and it was phenomonel! Putting everything together with Kristine was an easy process. There are so many choices with no upcharge. Needles Lodge was beautiful and the wildflowers that Lund Floral provided were a perfect addition. Richie the DJ was also a wonderful MC for the evening and really had the party going. I would recommend looking at these Snowbasin recommended vendors. The Gondola ride to Needles was a special treat for our guests. Once up at Needles, the venue is private and very intimate. We had a Buffet dinner which was Wonderful. We were prepared to have a plated service if needed (depending on our final guest list number) and felt comfortable that either would be equally as good. Again, I cannot say enough about the service from Day 1 of planning. Kristine was the best and the Catering Manager Ashley was equally as wonderful that day! We are looking forward to going back to Snowbasin to enjoy a Sunday Brunch at Needles or a Sunday afternoon Brews and Blues festival. It truly is a special place. I would also recommend Lakeside and Edgewater Condos for your guest. They are about 10 minutes down the Mountain and were a perfect place to spend the Wedding Weekend.
Great ski resort. Many, many acres of long, wide, groomed runs. There are many opportunities to enjoy steep terrain. The 3 lodges are very plush- like a 5 star hotel. And now next season's passes (2018-2019) are on sale at very reasonable prices.
Amazing! Great snowboarding and skiing!!! There are many lifts and each time you take on its like a whole new mountain to explore! kickers are sick when they get the built! Terrain parks are great! When powder comes its like heaven! Great lodges! Great lifts! Short lines! Easily accessible! Season pass for this place every year!
I've been up to Snowbasin several times and it has always been such great place to see
Its my childhood experience. I suggest you should go there during fall season. Breathtaking!
I used snowbasin for a work event! I was impressed with the timely manner it took to reserve my meeting space, as well as the reasonable rates & catering options! Staff was attentive, kind, and warm. Staff responded to requests quickly and efficiently!
We we're just up there for pictures and the view. There was OK snow accumulation and the resort look packed.
We go Spring skiing at Snowbasin every year. The snow is great, lift lines are short, food is off the charts, employees are very helpful, nice rental gear, lots of parking with a decent shuttle, and beautiful bathrooms. Can't wait to go again next year!
Great skiing!! It is great for beginners and also for pros. Very nice resort.
Very pretty area to take family photos (which is what we went for). Fall was a great time as all the fall colors provided a great background. It wasn't too cold...just a little chilly. But a light sweater was enough.
Blues, Brews, and BBQ! Huge serving of brisket, good variety of beers, and good music. Add some friends and you'll have yourself a great day!
A well groomed and fun mountain! There is something here for most every skill level! The food at every lodge is well prepared, fresh and delicious! Every member of the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with is friendly and helpful.
Came to Snowbasin Resort for the Spartan Race this last weekend and had a great time! These pictures are from the booth area and bear the starting and ending lines. This was a great location for the Spartan race. The scenery was beautiful, the terrain was tough but still so fun.
Awesome resort. Lots of good terrain, good snow, and few crowds.
We were very upset. We were allowed in with our club vests on. We paid for our drinks and food. Ate had a good time with friend. Then we were told to leave, because we had our vests on with our club name. I guess our money wasn't green enough.
Snowbasin is a great resort for skiing and then for eating .
A gorgeous setting, and a relaxing place to hang out with family. Can't wait to go back!
Fun and Ellen in ticket sales was a hoot...Gave us a token and wore a snowflake made of diamonds
Great skiing, and great food, to go along with great service
We love Snowbasin! Always friendly people and great staff.
Beautiful ski resort with a variety of runs. Awesome prices as well.
What a killer mountain! Home of the 2002 Olympic downhill events, Snowbasin has tons of incredible views and fast downhills.
I think Snowbasin is best for people who enjoy exploring. While it hadn't snowed in ~5 days when I first visited, I found amazing lines all day. It seemed like every time I rode down the mountain, I would find some amazing new little nook (especially off Strawberry Lift!). It snowed during the second half of our first day, so we had fresh tracks on an empty mountain on Sunday from 1-4, and we came back the next day. I won't even attempt to describe how amazing that was. If you ride, you know.
Snowbasin may also be one of the best beginner mountains. They have a great bunny hill, and the long gondala ride from the base leads to a really long beginner-friendly green run.
Their lodges are some of the nicest in the world, with quite simply the best food I've had at any resort. Seriously, Snowbasin, if you're reading this, tell your boss that the Chef dealserves a raise! You can tell that there's someone behind the scenes that understands the limitations of a cafeteria style restaurant and is making really good food and experiences anyways. The lodges are cozy, spacious, and warm, with tons of seating. They have outdoor and basement seating for people who bring their own food, and my group found that these spaces were quiet and emptier.
I loved Snowbasin and will be coming back next time I visit UT. Thanks, crew Snowbasin!
Blues and Brews on Sundays! Beautiful views, chill people, and good music. It's free to enter which is great but food and drink prices are high which I guess offsets the free entry. Plain French fries are the cheapest thing on the menu at $7. Sandwiches and meals are closer to $20.
These folks are sweet. I stopped to use the restroom and an employee hung out with my dog while I ran in.
Great open lines and tree runs. Not as steep as little cottonwoods but half the people!
Amazing resort and great snow, just a little too expensive. Go to Brighton, avoid the tourists and save money
Excellent powder. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great food.
Had a great time up at snowbasin. Great company my daughter Mistie, great music, and the great outdoors.
Best snow of this trip with New Horizon Tours.
The bathrooms here are the best of any ski resort!
Been going to Snowbasin with my family since '02. We love it here. Plenty of terrain for every skill level. Top notch facilities. And you don't have to risk your life driving up a steep canyon road to get here.
We thoroughly enjoyed the gondola ride today. We arrived just before closing it down. The ticket line was backed up due to the last day for season tickets which was also the line for the gondola. While my wife stood in line I found Lance, an associate, who finagled for me to purchase a ticket and got us on the gondola just in time.
The scenery is breathtaking and we will be coming back soon when we have time to bike or hike down after the ride to the top.
Beautiful ski resort! I can see why this place hosted the Olympics. Had a great time on my daughter's first ski trip. Cannot wait till next time
Went to snowbasin to pick up season passes and rentals (learn and earn). The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we got fitted for boots and skis in probably a total of 10 minutes. Excited about the season at snowbasin!!
Best ski resort and restaurants. Easy to get to. Great skiing and snowboarding. From the parking lot to the lifts are very close.
Great place not only for skiing in winter but also for amazing hikes in summer and spring
Good location , close to Ogden , on a very beautiful place.
Excellent Christmas celebrations here and has a good restaurant with more than decent food.
As I said , I can recommend this resort not only for skiing in winter but also to discover the beauty around during Spring and summer.
And yes , I prefer this place over Park City , since here is less packed during the ski season and is more of a rustic beauty
